Maria’s Pizza & Restaurant

Not even close to the best pizza place in the area. The slices they have out always seem like they have been sitting out for a while and something about their Sicilian slice just doesn’t taste right. Staff is polite but just a lot of 30 something year old guys just sitting around doing nothing it always seems to me. Never really see a sole in the place and besides delivery I don’t know what is really good from there!

ame here with my 2 kids after a day on the beach on the beach. I was nervous about picking a place but everyone left impressed by Maria’s Pizza.
First off I picked this place because I saw that it was busy with folks picking up their Friday night pizza orders. We sat right away in an empty booth. The lady at the counter was not very welcoming but the guy who took our order at the register was friendly and helpful so made up for it. The overall ambiance is typical of a pizza place with the soccer channel playing in the background. it’s family friendly and comfortable. I got the Veal Parm Dinner and was concerned about how the veal was going to be cooked. The veal was perfect. It was a large portion and came with a really good salad full of variety. It was great and worth every penny, My kids got a shrimp parm and a spaghetti and meatballs, both well portioned dishes got the thumbs up by my kids. Great food, attentive service, and a comfortable atmosphere.
We will be back!

Lets start with it told me 35 minutes to get a grilled chicken sandwich with mozzarella and pesto and balsamic. I wasn’t greeted for my first five minutes there. Everyone looked like had something better to do with their time. Then, the sandwich was cold and gross and the mozzarella was harder then the bread and cold as well… No pesto and some raspberry vinegar on top… Never again

Just ordered a pizza at 7:05 on 12÷20÷14. I ordered a large pizza, extra well done. When it came an hour and a half later it was cold and raw. I will never order from this place again. Pomadora Rosa is right down the street and has much better pizza.

Great pizza and wings. Had a long delivery once but other than that food is always good and consistent.

The owners have changed a couple times. This place is really good now normal prices. Loved the eggplant parm.

The reviews featured are negative (except 1) and all the filtered reviews are stellar, not sure what that’s about.
It might not be the best food ever but it’s not bad. Although the white pizza IS the best I’ve ever had. I order the white pizza with grilled chicken and sauteed spinach and it is to die for. Big blobs of creamy ricotta, yummy garlicky spinach. And the grilled chicken and spinach makes me feel like I’m eating somewhat healthy. My husband prefers plain pizza so I don’t order my fave all that often, but when I do I can’t help but do a little happy dance with that first bite.
Maria’s has kind of become my go to place for pizza, only because I haven’t found any other place better yet. Either because the other pizza just wasn’t good or they didn’t pick up the phone when I tried calling to order. But I’m still searching…

I’m surprised with the negative reviews. I liked this place after a day at Sea Bright beach and have been back a couple of times. Tasty pizza and inexpensive. Would definitely go back.

Fantastic family owned restaurant. Excellent service — Dad, mom, sons and daughter work. Byob. Eat in the small back room dining area and have the best food at the best price from Napoli Italians. We order take out at least once a month too.
