Tazza is above average as a whole, however their prices, breakfast and sandwich options leave a lot to be desired. What you purchase, will determine how your opinion, so choose carefully. The main thing to keep in mind, at Tazza, is that they specialize in selling baked goods and desserts, so ordering a ready made breakfast sandwich sitting under a light for the past five hours may not be the smartest decision. If you’re in the market for breakfast, walk down to the deli or find a better option elsewhere. Pros: –Tasty selection of desserts. Tazza has a beautiful display case of gelato. The prices are steep, more expensive than you’ll find in NYC, but the servings are fair. Most people that are ice cream lovers will want to try it once. It isn’t the best or richest gelato you’ll have. –Ridiculous selection of pastries and sweets. Everything is good. Although I wasn’t a fan of the filling of the cheese Danish. The Danish, itself, was good. –Good customer service and friendly staff members. Several encounters here and every time the people were nice. Cons: –Tazza is way too over priced. A small gelato will cost you $ 7.50. Pastries are around $ 4.50 each and the small cakes are $ 8.00. –Limited vegetarian selection. No custom requests or orders fulfilled here. –If you have any allergies to tree nuts, be very careful when placing your order because there is a fair amount of cross contamination happening between items, trust me on this.

Best place for food in Harrah’s. The gelato was superb! and all the cakes and desserts. It was haven. Most importantly, it’s open 24⁄7. Right next to the hotel reception and all the room towers, perfect for a late night snack. They also have coffee, sandwiches.

This place god damn sucks and its expensive as hell. I bought 2 breakfast sandwiches(sausage egg cheese), water, small coffee and it came out to $ 20. I know its casino and stuff are little over priced but a sandwich for $ 7 that i could get at dunkin for $ 3 – 4 and doesnt taste like crap. No wonder AC is losing business. Its so much more expensive than Vegas

Saw this place walking to get checked in. Ordered a cinnamon roll, salted caramel cheese cake, and birthday cake. Everything was average nothing great. Don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again. Cinnamon roll didn’t taste fresh had a day old taste to it.

After finishing business on the 2nd floor, I came down to the Harrah’s lobby to wait for my friend to return from her walkabout the casino to occupy her time while I worked. I saw Tazza Caffe Delizioso with all its bright lights and multi-colored sweets, and decided to park myself right there with a cuppa joe and a Lemon Bar until she appeared. Of course, as soon as I(over)paid for my snack, she walked around the corner from the casino area and joined me for a short conversation as I revived myself with caffeine and tart sugars. I found the place perfectly located for overlooking the lobby and casino; comfortable to relax at a deuce at the ersatz outdoor table; and enjoyable to sip and eat my small decadence. The Coffee was very good, and the Lemon Bar(one of my favorite desserts) the proper mix of sweet and tart, with White Chocolate micro Kisses on top to add to the flavors. Sure, every convenience in a casino hotel costs more than out on the street, but that was known coming in. I forgave my indulgence and the extra pennies, and had a great conversation with a dear friend.

This place looked like heaven with all the food, pastry, and dessert options around. However, the service wasn’t exactly as promising. I came to grab a quick bite at night, but the associates during that shift weren’t as welcoming as they were talking amongst themselves. I tried to get someone’s attention to ask about the sandwiches, but she walked away. I guess she didn’t hear me??? I ordered my salad and the cashier suddenly gave me my total… but I wasn’t done ordering. I placed my boyfriend’s sandwich order too. She asked if I wanted anything else and I asked her about the soup, but I didn’t think she knew too much about it or she didn’t recommend it too well(you know that face when you pretend that a certain food item is alright but deep inside you know it tastes bad… she gave me that face lol). So whatever we finished the transaction and she gave me my salad. At this point we were just waiting for my boyfriend’s sandwich. We wait… And wait. And wait more until another associate asked us(finally) if we were waiting for something. Yes. We were. So she asked the other associate about this missing sandwich(the sandwiches were already made beforehand they just needed to toast it) and we heard him say it was burnt so he needed to make another one, but he was busy taking another guest’s order. It was dead when we came in. There were more employees than guests and this is technically supposed to be quick service. I was disappointed the way the employees were that this was just blah. I might try some pastries or desserts later on with hopes of having a better experience.

Overpriced and underwhelmed! The staff is super wonderful and friendly but that gelatos were awful. I know it’s made daily but it tasted like it has been in that fridge for hours and it took in that«stale fridge» taste. It’s almost hard to describe but you can tell when something has been sitting in a fridge for too long. $ 5.99 for a small is pricey but it was huge! I’m hoping this one time I went was just a fluke accident but let me tell you it did not taste good.

Overpriced but otherwise excellent European style café. I regularly get milk and sweetener here for my room. I love enjoying a coffee here while I read. When I am in a rush, I get a nice croissant(all the pastries look amazing) or a banana. They have gelato, sandwiches, and bagels. This is a wonderful place to relax and helps give Harrah’s its style.

This place looks delicious when you see all the food and gelato from outside but when you actually try one of their sandwiches it’s absolutely nothing like u expect. They don’t toast it right leaves half of the sandwich cold and the other half hot and wet. Pricey for the type of food they serve.

We went here later in the afternoon for an iced tea and a small dessert. This place looks really enticing because of the gelato stand near the right side of the entrance and the assortment of pastries in the glass displays. Upon closer inspection, it was obvious that this place was for convenience only. The prices are marked up beyond belief and the actual food(sandwiches, salads, fruit cups, etc…) looked like it had been sitting out all day. The prepackaged salads were some of the saddest looking food items offered. Sad salads. Yuck. The iced tea we ordered was expensive and nothing to write home about. The dessert we ordered was essentially frosting in a cup. Tasteless, dense, and more sugary than a cup full of chocolate syrup. This place gets a consolation star(2 up from 1) because it has one, single redeeming quality — it is open 24 hours. If you find yourself at Harrah’s in the wee hours of the morning(after a few rounds at the blackjack tables it’s a little too easy to lose track of time) this place will probably save you from going to bed hungry.

I arrived at around 11pm at night at Harrah’s and found out only two food places were open. The burger place had a big line so I just grabbed a Parma sandwich here. They asked if I wanted it toasted, so I had half toasted. Went back to my room to eat it, and I could barely bite through the bread. Tried the non-toasted half and that was also impossible to eat. It was kind of tasty, but the bread made it just a terrible sandwich. And it was super, super greasy. I guess they put a bunch of butter on the grill before toasting it? I just don’t get it.

I came here for a gelato because it looked so appealing when you pass by. I got a waffle cone with a scoop of vanilla and pistachio. It was good but really expensive $ 7 The rest of the café has a lot of desserts and sandwiches but I didn’t try those. Everything looks really amazing though.

This place gets crazy crowded in the mornings but each and every dessert, sandwich, and gelato flavor in those glass displays will entice you to order everything! Came here the morning after a good night of partying and ordered a croissant with eggs and a turkey sausage! It was so good. Their lattes are delicious too because they aren’t smothered in milk and sugar! I definitely want to come back here to eat some of their desserts, especially the gelato!!!

The only thing good about this place is the convenience. This place is really expensive and please, no matter what you do, do not get the breakfast sandwiches. I am actually writing this review a month later but I still remember the sandwich. It was hot on the outside and cold on the inside… like it was microwaved. Coffee is ok but again expensive for what it is. I did however enjoy sitting at the table, the view of the casino is ok as the hotel lobby is upscale and for that I am giving this place 3 stars. I have not tried the gelatto here. My wife enjoyed their iced mochas. We visited Tazza often because we stayed at Harrah’s 3 nights and as you know, Harrahs is not on the boardwalk. It’d be nice if they replaced this place with a Starbucks or… a Johnny Rockets!

They have a good selection of food(especially desserts that look delicious). They also serve Lavazza coffee, so that’s a huge plus for them. I only tried their gelato… I had the Tazza gelato at Caesar’s the next day and for some reason it was so much better at Caesar’s…especially the pistachio… at Caesar’s it was a darker green, had much more pistachio flavor and had more real pistachios in each serving. Caesar’s also seems like it has a better variety of flavors, including stracciatella, which was not at the Tazza at Harrah’s.

I like their gelatos! This place is usually packed with people though trying to get their fill of free samples, which can be annoying when you actually want to order! Had a fruit tart here and that was delicious also. All their pastries look so mouth watering delicious in the window!

About the only place at Harrah’s to get a late night snack or eats. As i was hankering for some grub after a bender. Great thing is they are open late and have a wide variety of sandwiches, pastries, desserts, and gelato. I had the turkey, guyere, croissant, panini which was quite tasty. Soft flakey croissant, toasted well and you can tell everything was fresh. Also the tiramisu which definitely had a strong espresso taste which i like and 4 big olé lady finger cookies. Large portions for both the desserts and sandwiches and great service. A bit pricey but it is in the resort after all and was one of the late night places to eat at.

Open 24 hours. Coffee, gelato, sandwiches, bagels, and a ton of desserts. My fat ass approves! In what used to be the old Club Cappuccino coffee spot has emerged a larger and brighter café with much more to offer, an expanded menu of items including a full gelato bar with many flavors to choose from, and even a large patio-like seating area with many tables to eat at. It’s such a huge improvement from what was there in the past. It’s another Tazza location like the one over in the lobby at Ceasars. Why only 3 stars? Price. You are definitely paying casino rates here. Be prepared for sticker shock but since you are gambling away your money in AC this should come as no surprise. The gelatos we had were pretty tasty, and the coffee was actually pretty good. It is fun to sit in the faux patio area and watch the freak show walk by in the lobby, especially on a weekend night when all the guidos, guidettes, club kids, and Jersey Shore wannabees stumble by. Since there is not that much open late at night in Harrah’s this is a decent choice if looking for a sandwich or some dessert. If there mid-week this is probably your best bet.

I can’t say much about this place but, it’s there when you need it. I stopped by because the gelato presentation was so nice. I wasn’t that impressed with the taste though. I tried the coffee, tiramisu and cheesecake. Underwhelmed, but I still got two scoops in a chocolate-dipped waffle cone.

From what I can gather, this is the old Club Cappuccino location, now a full service Tazza location just like in Caesars. I haven’t been to Caesars so I can’t compare, but I can get this review started and let you all have at it. I will say that it looks quite impressive from the outside. The selection in the gelato case and dessert cases definitely draws you in. It has drawn us in twice so far. Once for gelato, and once for breakfast. Well, I will admit that we only went there for breakfast because Harrah’s doesn’t operate the breakfast buffet on a Wednesday(or at least not on this Wednesday). First, the gelato trip. We were glad to be able to sample several flavors before deciding. But I was surprised to find that some of the flavors didn’t taste right. For instance, the Birthday Cake gelato… not even remotely close to what it is supposed to taste like. I also was not a fan of the chocolate though my wife was. Something just was off about the taste to me. I eventually settled on a waffle cone with peanut butter gelato, and that turned out to be an excellent choice. If you get the right flavor, it works. Trick is, figuring out what the right flavor is. Try a few before you settle. So, price on a large waffle cone, small waffle cone, and a bottle of water… $ 15. $ 7.50 for the large cone(the cone was chocolate dipped), $ 5 for the small. It’s quite a splurge. Now the breakfast trip. I went for a premade breakfast sandwich on a bagel, and so did the wife. I grabbed a raspberry crumb muffin and we got 2 café au laits. So for $ 5.75 a sandwich, you get a sandwich that is not made to order, and an egg patty that was obviously not made fresh. That was a letdown. The sandwich being big made up for it, but for $ 5.75 you should at least get fresh eggs. Now the muffin was interesting. In what is completely the opposite of the Seinfeld episode, I can honestly say that this is the first muffin in history where I enjoyed the stump more than the top. The stump was moist and tasty, the top was dry and chewy. Go figure. No complaints on the coffee. Now, total price for just my bagel sandwich, muffin, and coffee… $ 12.50. Perhaps normal for AC, but I would like some better quality out of the deal. They still get three stars because of the coffee and gelato.
