The café itself had great service along with really affordable prices. I got a huge omelet, which came with four pieces of toast and home fries for about $ 8. I was really satisfied with the portion, and it tasted like any other breakfast. The quality of the fries could have definitely been better, but for the quantity I got I’m really satisfied with eating there.

Atlantic City is a great budget mini vacation from NYC. You can take the Greyhound bus from Port Authority($ 38 round trip) to one of the Casinos and you get a $ 25 credit to play the slots.. I tell you this because it is better than driving, if you are looking to save $. So if you play your slots right, you can cut your bus ticket price in half! You will always win a little something and therefore save on your bus ticket. Also, go during the week, not on weekends, and you can get a really nice hotel or casino hotel for very cheap. So you see I am a cheapskate, which is why I like Perry’s Café. It is very reasonably priced, especially by NYC diner standards. We only had breakfast, so I don’t know what the rest of the menu is like, but breakfast was great! I had a simple egg and cheese sandwich and it was scrumptious. My boyfriend had an omelette and we were both so full. This place has free refills on the fountain drinks, so you can very easily share a soda or iced tea(very good) between two people. This restaurant is closest to Resorts and Claridge, within walking distance. Much better than overpaying, which is what you do if you eat in a casino restaurant. It has a very simple, quaint feel to it and is bustling with regulars. I’m going to make it a point to come here from now on when in AC. Very homey and the price is right! Sweet waitresses.

I came here recently for a quick breakfast for the first time. I ordered a swiss cheese omelet and it was really good. Everything tasted fresh. The waitress was very friendly and order arrived quickly. There is also plenty of seating and prices were very reasonable(typical diner prices). The area is definitely very sketchy with a lot of thugs lurking around, but none of them bothered me though.

A nice local place. The two stars are for 1– location: it was near our hotel 2– service: the staff were friendly, food delivered quickly even though it was busy The food is not bad, although We have our doubts regarding the portions. We ordered four egg whites, as you can see from the pictures these were niether four nor only whites.

Gave this place two stars. The two stars are because the service was good, prices were affordable and it was really close to where I was staying which was the Wyndham Skyline hotel. Although the service was great the food was just not good. My eggs were runny, bacon didn’t looked cooked and I didn’t like the home fries. The only thing I liked was the coffee and toast but anyone can get toast and coffee right hahaha. If you want good breakfast food in Atlantic City try Maria’s luncheonette.

This place is ok for a quick bite but would not be my first choice. It’s small and the booths are old. When someone big sits behind you they rock you in the seat.

Great local place for food at decent prices. Although the neighborhood is a bit sketchy it doesn’t take away from the establishment itself. Clean restaurant with prompt and pleasant service. We had a vegetable omelette which was huge along with grits and home fries all tasted awesome.

Well, its been a long time since I ate canned green beans, so that was slightly nostalgic. I ordered the open faced hot roast beef sandwich. No mashed potatoes and the fake gravy was on the side, so the sandwich wasn’t really hot. The best thing was the green beans. Oih

I rated buy food for store. My husband rated his food and coffee at three stars. Something was just a little bit off. But definitely a fine place to grab breakfast give it so close by. If you’re staying at the Wyndham Skyline Towers they will also deliver.

Corned beef hash, scrambled eggs, rye toast at a fair price and surprisingly good coffee(not bitter, but strong) are steps away from the Courtyard Marriott. This is where the locals have breakfast, and it is solid. Not exceptional food, but solid food at a fair price with good service.

Just went here for the first and many times this week! Loved it. It is located next to the Howard Johnson Hotel(it is actually attached to it!) but people outside can come in and enjoy the nice warm food and hot coffee. Don’t go anywhere near the boardwalk and go here if you are expecting to save money. You can get eggs, grits, corned beef hash, pancakes, and almost anything for breakfast or lunch! I had a croissant with eggs, cheese and sausage inside during my first day. Delicious but my favorite was on another day when I ordered stuffed French Toast with jelly and cream cheese. Need anything? I know they can help you as long as you ask they are willing to refill your coffee or help with any of your food. It has a nice, comfy diner feel and I enjoyed it! I hope to go back there again because they just made me into a fan!

This spot is great. I get the same waitress, Sixta every time. I’ve never had a problem there and the food is delicious. They also have grits and corned beef hash. You can’t go wrong. I don’t even look at the prices but it’s not expensive at all. This will be my breakfast spot every time I visit Atlantic City. I would definitely recommend this establishment to everyone

A friend of mine took me here for breakfast this morning and I must say I am a fan. The breakfast we had tasted delicious and fresh! I ordered 2 eggs omelet with home fries and turkey bacon. I also had the banana pancakes. who ever says«Oh well its just eggs, thats easy to make» is lying, cause I have been many places where they either make it it burnt, too hard, undercooked, overcooked, you name it. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes breakfast like your momma makes

It is a small restaurant nut from where we were staying. A few people who work in the hotel recommended it and a few people on Unilocal had reviewed so we gave it a try. We were started right away. It’s basically sit wherever you want to sit. We ordered sodas and they were flat so they asked if we wanted bottle sodas so we just drank water. We ordered our food and it was a lot of food buy not the best. My pancakes were okay and my boyfriend potatoes were dry. It wasn’t expensive so that was good. So if your in Atlantic city and looking for someplace cheap and quick to get something to eat from then this well be a good spot but wouldn’t recommend going with a large group. The place isn’t that big.

Food: we had breakfast food and I was impressed. I had a huge egg white omelet that came with a whole plate of wedge cut home fries and some toast. I could barely eat it all! Atmosphere: it’s not too appealing from the outside and the inside is old school but don’t let the looks deceive you, the food was great! Service: Friendly, prompt, attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating staff!

Mediocre all around. Friendly but flighty waitress. Refilling coffee is an important part of breakfast service, as is bringing me everything I ordered, and checking on customers. I had to flag her down eventually to get my sausage. Getting coffee seemed impossible. bland potatoes. ok breakfast sandwich

My boyfriend and I went here for breakfast, when we first went in they sat us down and it took forever for the waiter to come over to ask us what we wanted to drink, about 15 minutes, but it was busy. Even though I would expect they at least ask what you want to drink and then take their time. Once she came over she apologized for taking so long and took our orders, the food came out pretty fast. The food was pretty good, average for a diner, not great, but not bad. The price was reasonable too. I wasn’t thrilled with this place, but I wasn’t disappointed either, just an average diner.

If you are looking for something within walking distance from most of the casinos then this is definitely a solid option. The breakfast sandwiches are okay and the pancakes are very good. The grits here aren’t too shabby either, but its served with sliced cheese. not grated. Huge disappointment. If you have access to a car or if you’d like to take Jitney there are better options in Ventnor and Margate, but for the price this is the best in the immediate area.
