they didn’t have anything I wanted which was on the menu. I’m pretty sure they gave my turkey instead of chicken. the food wasn’t fresh. this place needs to be closed down

Their food quality is not even near 4 stars. Their lamb curry taste nothing like lamb if anything the texture and taste is just like beef! I know surprisingly they don’t even have beef in their menu, but who cares as long as it’s cheaper… I do not recommend this place there are plenty of better places in Taj.

I was looking for vegetarian options and this place had good ratings. I was disappointed with the food quality. Especially for the price they charge. I ordered biryani and would certainly not recommend that.

Had chicken biryani. Rice was too dry without any gravy. Even the chicken was missing the spices. Was Disappointed.

Food is just average nothing much to talk about. Ordered Achari Paneer which had an overdose of vinegar and chicken biryani which was average in taste.

The food was okay, the curries were a little watery for my taste. The seating is really limited though. Five of us visited this restaurant and we could only manage to get three chairs for our table. The food did come out relatively quickly but if I had a place to sit I probably would have enjoyed my experience more.

This place is absolutely amazinggggg. Can’t seem to get enough of this place. We usually get the PANEERMAKNHI which is a butter based creamy sauce with chunks of cheese and also the GOATCURRY both are delicious. The picture I uploaded is Of a BIRIYANI which is rice with spices, herbs, vegetables and chicken. The dip and the chips were a complimentary side the chef made on his own for us since we are regulars ;-) this place rocks!

Great customer service. They didn’t have the chicken tikka naan so I ended up getting the kabab, which comes with rice & a small salad. The plain naan took a little longer but it’s worth it cause it’s fresh out of a real tandoor oven, not a microwave. They also have an assortment of Bassett’s ice cream. Yum!

Amazing platters, very innovative naanwich and masala tea. The location is perfect, with a store at the entrance of Taj Lobby. Please please eat here when you are in AC. Good customer service also !!!

Good quality Indian food. Reasonably priced per US rates. Tried the Chicken Tikka Masala which was a little sweet, yet tasty. Lamb curry and Chicken biryani were good. They serve rice(plain white) with a lot of the curries/starters, so keep that in mind as well. Decent service.

The most horrible paneer and mango lassi I had in a long time. Mango lassi’s yogurt tasted it had gone bad. And they charge so expensively for such bad quality food and drink! I feel like I threw away 20 bucks for crappy food and drink. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone.

The best I’ve had till date. I ordered lamb chops, tandoori fish and lamb biryani. The meat(lamb) was so fresh that it just melted in my mouth(it was halal) and so was fish. The spices were just sufficient; not too spicy, not too bland. Service was too good. If you’re at Atlantic city, then make sure you don’t miss on stopping by at this place. You won’t regret!

Shrimp Naanwich … even my very picky(10 year old) eater thought it was amazing. Made an excellent yet simple lunch.

My wife ordered from here in this food court while I ate a sandwich from next door. But I sampled her dish. My Indian wife, born and raised in Mumbai, has rated this experience as just ok. She tried Aloo Tikki Chaat and Chili Paneer. The chaat had more spice than flavor. She didn’t even finish the paneer which is a rarity. It wasn’t that it was bad. But it wasn’t great. Based on her experienced taste buds on this cuisine, and my lesser experienced but highly practiced taste buds when it comes to Indian food, we must respectfully disagree with the trend here and simply rate this food ok, but needs improvement.

So here I am again with a hankering for Indian food and my family is like, «no WAY.» Which means I have to cook or… Go to Maharaja Express! I’ve been here quite a few times now, but I always forget to review it. The lowdown: it’s in a food court, which means you walk up, order your grub, get it, and sit. This can be good or bad, right? Good news: food is very tasty, albeit a little lukewarm. More good news: lots of vegetarian options. Not so good news: it’s pricier than the other food court options(a lunch platter will run you about $ 12 with a drink; veggie samosas are $ 4 for 2 and, trust me, you’ll want 4 if its your whole lunch.) Customer service is lackluster, too– I went back for the aforementioned second helping of samosas and was hassled bc my bill was .70 under their debit limit… despite my having bought the first order– cash– a mere moment before. So it’s a toss up for me. Seeing as I’m always relegated to eating Indian solo, the convenience makes up for the surliness of the aloof dude behind the counter.
