Got the crab quesadilla. It was pretty good, I’m not sure that it was crab but, when you’re hungry, anything is good(i.e. Not a ringing endorsement of the crab quality). The quesadilla came with some sort of fruit on top of a bed of lettuce. It also came with some rice.

Great place to check out! Los Amigos is a tiny hidden gem in the city, located on the edge of the outlets. I was really glad I came in because the atmosphere of the restaurant was a nice change of pace to what you usually see. The food on the other hand was delicious, service was nice and everything was well seasoned. The one reason for my star deduction is due to my dish being overcooked. It still tasted great, seasoning wise, but the texture was really chewy for a lamb chop dish. I asked for medium rare and got well done instead. I went in a large group of 15 people and they were able to seat us right away. They have outdoor seating as well. I’m surprised that not much people have heard of the place or have even gone in and that they received a 3 star. This place is a solid 4 star and it’s worth traveling to. The staff was incredibly nice and we had a great experience.

We loved it, a quiet out of place gem. We would go back and are quite impressed with the food and prices :)

I am here visiting Atlantic city and I heard that this is the place to be for Cinco de mayo, my birthday. And the tacos we ordered we of quality of taco bell. And the drinks we ordered were good but the second set of margaritas we got were mostly lemon juice then anything. When we asked to get them fixed the manager asked us to leave. After explaining what was wrong with the drink he went ahead and comped the lemon juice margaritas. It was truly a terrible experience there

I was really looking forward to this place but We should have listened to the other most recent reviews. The food is in fact all frozen, and extremely disappointing bordering on unappetizing. My «seafood» fatija was a mash of gray looking frozen fish that immediately made my stomach queasy. l and the salsa looked straight out of a jar. DEFINITELY not worth or justified as a $ 21 entrée. Wouldn’t come again.

Stopped here for lunch to take a break from shopping. It took a bit too long to be seated outside, and I almost opted to sit indoors due to the long wait. Staff was constantly walking by and seemed to be at odds with one another. Had I not been so hungry for Mexican Food I would have left. Finally after a 5 – 7 minute wait I was taken outside to a table. The food was ok… the tacos and the chips and salsa were good, but the refried beans had no flavor and the rice was bland. I was a bit disappointed but liked the outdoor seating and it was nice to get off of my feet. Maybe I should have had a Margarita!

You’ll not find a better place for mexican food. Every dish is gourmet Mexican. We’ve been in many, many Mex places but this wins outright. We wish they were in our neighborhood. A fabulous treat when in AC! Fred

Strong drinks and pretty good food. What more can I say? Only thing is, the hours posted on Google aren’t accurate. The first night we came the kitchen was about to close.

We’ve been here a few times and the food and service have always been amazing. The décor is traditional Mexican and except for the music one could easily believe that they’re in Mexico. The chips were great… very fresh and light… not greasy at all. We had the roast pork burrito which was to die for… the pork was shredded and melted in the mouth… the crab quesadillas were also fantastic. Everything is always fresh and authentic … and also great value for money!

We came here after the ACBC event at the convention center. This place seemed to be popular that weekend. We walked over since we stayed at the Sheraton. It wasnt far. We were a party of 6 and was seated quickly. It was surprising how fast we were seated seeing how busy it was. The place is deceiving. Not in a bad way. From the outside, it looks to be a sliver of a building. You go inside, it roomy with a lot of tables, and multiple floors. 2 people had the carne asada — a grilled skirt steak, topped with jack cheese, served with mexican rice charros beans, cheese enchiladas, guacamole & warm four tortillas. I had the pistachio crusted lamb chops served with salad and mashed potatoes. Soooooooo good! I don’t see it on their menu currently, though. Sister had a seafood dish. Clams Mexicana– Little neck clams simmered with garlic, jalapenos, tomatoes and cilantros in white wine broth. We all had sangriaritas. Those are to die for!!! I need me one of those right now! I’d definitely recommend to others.

This place is the best Mexican restaurant in Atlantic City. Everything about this place is friendly, fun, and authentic. The owner even goes to Mexico to try out new cuisine and sample alcohol. Go for an experience outside the dumb Casino sandbox crap that A. C pushes on you. This is a fantastic place for good eats, good people, and won’t break the bank. The negative reviews here are from drunk idiots and one guy who got poisoned by his bad girlfriends coconut shrimp or some dumb thing. Weird. Go here and have fun, bring your friends, and keep money in your wallet for the tables.

Solid Mexican restaurant in the heart of A.C.-close enough to walk from the convention center or the outlets. The crab quesadilla and fish tacos were spot-on: tasted great, fresh, and a good amount for the money. I also love the complimentary chips and salsa. I would definitely come back for lunch or dinner again.

I didn’t like the food at this place. It was quite expensive, the service was slow and the quality was bad. The ambience is ok and it’s conveniently located in the center of the shopping area but I wouldn’t come back.

Los amigos more like«Los food poisoning» i had the seafood paella it came out like soup not like How paella should come out. I ate it either way the next day i had food poising. The only suspect was«los amigos». My friends wouldn’t do that to me. My girlfriends beans were straight outa the goya can could taste the preservatives. And my mothers coconut shrimp was cooked to death because it was frozen seafood. So i would tread lightly with this place. Would not recommend this place

I have to say that I was pretty impressed with Los Amigos. Looking from the outside you would not expect big restaurant. Inside is very spacious and has a bar area. As for the location, is not far from the outlet of Atlantic City which is prefect if you want some food after walking around. Keep in mind that their is no parking lot and only have street parking. I highly recommend ordering the frozen margarita. The margarita was amazing and it comes in a pitcher. Perfect for sharing with a group of 4 but also perfect for just two. Service was pretty decent, and the food wasn’t too bad. They provided chips and salsa until the food arrives. This will be my first experience with Mexican food. I ordered the seafood empanada and I enjoyed it. The food was amazing and with a couple of margarita, I enjoyed my time at Los Amigos.

I’ll give them two stars because our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. I went here with 8 other girls for my friend’s bachelorette party dinner. The place has two floors with the lower level being the bar and outdoor seating. Upstairs is where the main dining takes place. It’s not exactly huge, but there were plenty of tables available and reservations were easily made for our group size. The food and price is the reason why I am giving Los Amigos a low rating. I ordered the carne asada and it was horrible. The meat had no flavor besides the melted cheese they put on top of it. Maybe they do that to mask the terrible quality of the steak. Carne Asada itself is an inexpensive cut of beef, so I’m not sure how Los Amigos could mess it up so badly. All the steaks were cooked well… who eats Flank or Strip steak well done?!(Actually.any steak shouldn’t be eaten well done, but I’m not judging) The side of rice was hard and flavorless. For $ 22.00…I felt like I was being completely ripped off. I discussed the meal with three of the other girls and they all agreed that their dishes were awful. I came with 8 Latinas, so they know quality Hispanic dishes and Los Amigos failed to deliver that.

The good reviews are as fake as the chicken you get. Our family of 4 are never picky but this was the worst mexican restaurant ever. LET’S MAKEITTHEWORSTRESTAURANTEVER! We made a mistake not to read the bad reviews but they are right. The meat taste TERRIBLE! It’s obviously frozen meat that’s been sitting for a while. The one star star goes for the service which was okay. You’ve been warned. Its that sad… no one ate the food and it was extremely expensive. Go to Taco Bell instead… it’s a whole lot better.

Came here from a recommendation from a friend. I was instantly put off when the menu clearly stated«$ 2 charge for chips and salsa after the first round.» I feel like that should always be included at a Mexican restaurant – and we had a large party(9 people). Aside from that, I was like OK the food will be good. I ordered fajitas and they were terrible! I thought they were serving me those Tyson pre-cooked grilled chicken strips cut into even thinner strips and then microwaved. I also had steak and it came out like a blob of lard. There were like two peppers that had been drenched in oil and were barely recognizable. I also had to ask for something to make the fajita with-cheese, salsa, lettuce. I thought this was the norm? Also, they served everyone in our party except for two people and I really hate when everyone has their food and then you have some friends sitting there looking sad and hungry. We tried the regular margaritas as well as the skinny – regular were great on the first round and tasted like pure sugar on the second. The skinny, was… ehh…Basically, I’ve had better. I wouldn’t go back to this place-I didn’t even touch the beans or rice because they looked like they had been sitting out all day. No one in our party enjoyed their meal. Stay away from this place and head somewhere else. The one positive – our server was incredibly sweet! He did check on us often and was super nice but that doesn’t make up for the terrible food!

This place only gets a two stars because of the customer service. So I ordered tacos from here and they were so soggy and the rice was very dry. I went to return the food and the manager and bartender was very accommodating. They offered me a drink while I waited for my monies. I will try this place again mainly for the awseome service. I found out they have a berlin location and will visit there cause it’s close.
