Avoid if you want to support working comedians. This establishment does not pay its comedians, or does so with great difficulty on the side of its performers. Multiple well-documented cases of this appalling practice all over the web.

I’ve been to dozens of comedy clubs around the nation and I’ve never seen one that was as unprofessional as Butch Bradley’s Comedy Hideaway. The MC totally killed the atmosphere by yelling at audience members and even making us move seats for no apparent reason. The bar definitely over-served alcohol as evidenced by a woman puking her guts out right outside the venue. By the time the headliner got on stage the show was out of control and I wasn’t able to enjoy the comic I had came to see perform. On top of all that, the club owners have failed to pay comedians on multiple occasions. Do not go here.

Here’s the thing. Butch is a nice guy in and of himself. But he is a compulsive liar. You can’t lie to comedians to make them feel good and then turn around and not pay them. Furthermore, the co-owners barely talk to each other and make shady deals behind each other’s back. The last time I went, Butch made me sit up front even when I protested that I was already comfortable sitting where I was. WHODOESTHISAT A COMEDYCLUB? It was an unpleasant experience and I felt bad for the comics. AVOID. They do not pay their comics!

I can’t believe how awesome this place is great speakeasy vibe. Comedians super funny(I pee’d a little). Great out of the AC norm night out. Highly recommend.

Having been a fan of live comedy for most of my adult life, I truly appreciated the talent that was present at the Hideaway. Staff was extremely friendly and professional, the owner of this it takes pride in his product. You can’t beat the value at this comedy club, I would compare it to the Comedy Cellar in NYC. Some added value is the free parking and its proximity to the casinos and great restaurants like chef vola

Great Show intimate atmosphere made me laugh all night long. Had a two drink minimum but reasonable price will definitely do it again next time I am in town.

Hands Down the Best time I’ve had going out in Atlantic City in a loooong time! Everything about this place is Awesome, from the time you walk up the stairs to the club and get the classic comedy club feeling, to the welcome that you get from the owners and staff, the service from the bartenders/waitresses, and the laughs that soon follow… this experience does not disappoint! On top of feeling like you are part of something Epic the moment you grab a drink and sit down, the Headliners that they are bringing into the building really get the audience involved. So you not only get to see a great show, but you also get to participate in the fun. Do your friends, your family, your co-workers and yourself a favor and Go see Butch Bradley and his friends at the Comic Hideaway ASAP!

Gr8 comedians for their opening month, Aug 2105 !! Hope they’ll lower the $ 30 per person,(plus 2 drink minimum) price, on behalf of so many of our Atlantic City Casino peeps, who are out of work, after 8 of 12 casinos closed.(And/or who are underemployed) Perhaps some amateur type of nights, if need be. This place has gr8 potential to help fill the void, after my beloved Tropicana Comedy Stop closed, earlier this summer. My Zombie drink was 12 bucks, & that’s NOJOKE. But, lovely waitress, Kat, told me my Alabama Slammer(next drink), was only 10 bucks. (Thx, Kat!). She mentioned bottled water being 8 bucks, so I felt like I took the much better option.
