It was definitely not worth the $ 20 cover for a empty Friday night. I previously asked AFTER midnight how full the club was and I kept getting«its pretty full». Unfortunately after cover, few drinks and coat check, the club was not full at all: many empty tables. Even with few people, the dance floor is limited and get super tight. The Friday night I had the pleasure of being with included of a huge college group which were mainly their only customers. Floors are filthy with cups and poured drinks. No workers near to see such mayhem. I’m sure there are better places in atlantic city.

I have been to AC a solid handful of times and every time this club has always been the best choice. On weekends it’s usually free admission before a certain time, and then $ 10 – 20. But you can go there before you start your night and they will almost always give you a free entry ticket. I will say, when I did this it was a group of 20 girls so I’m not sure if the same goes for men(sorry not sorry). There is also a way to get on the guest list if you sign up online beforehand. I probably wouldn’t come here as a spur of the moment event. Drinks are super expensive of course. Prepare to spend $ 11 – 20 per drink depending on what you get. I suggest pregaming. The DJ has always been really good, and the set up of the place is nice. There is a little stage you can dance on, or the floor. I always prefer the stage because I hate when men come up and dance right on me, so it’s easy to avoid them up there. I definitely wouldn’t suggest coming here before 11:30, or any club in AC. It will be super empty.

I honestly don’t know why there are so many horrible reviews. There’s one thing that makes or breaks your night out at a club and that’s who you come to the party with. My friends and I make the best out a situation no matter where we go. It could be the worst place ever, but we could still walk out having a great time. Now, Dusk wasn’t the best club in AC but it also wasn’t the worst. My friends and I stayed at Caesars this past Saturday, and we had a blast. We created a guest list online — $ 5 cover before 12 am. So, we went down at 11 pm to get stamped. The club was super empty around then which we didn’t care about anyways since we were staying there. We went back to our room to party it up more and then came down at around 1 am. The club was poppin. The DJ played Soca music for about an hour then switched to EDM for about 30 mins only to switch back to throwback Hip Hop/Rap which by far was the best decision he made. It was a lot of fun. We stayed til 3 and then we left. I wouldn’t say Dusk was the BEST club but it honestly was not as bad as I expected after reading Unilocal reviews. Won’t be back but had a good first time experience!

Tried to go here on a Tuesday night during my stay at Caesars. $ 20 cover just to go in unless you were on this unadvertised guest list? No thanks. Just from standing outside the music(and the party) didn’t sound bumpin’ either. Glad I saved my money to go gamble that night instead.

Went to this club with a large group of friends on 8⁄14! It was great! Bottle service was wonderful, dj was on point and drinks were tasty and strong! Specifically, I would like to give a huge shout out to the manager and bouncers! Without going into too much detail… They were tolerant, kind, and efficient. I’m so grateful for their services and how they helped my boyfriend. I felt more than safe and in today’s world where power is abused their professionalism is rare! I hope this review showcases what an exceptional job they did!!! Would absolutely return! Thank you, Kass

Great club in Cesar’s Palace. Music is eclectic and changes often. Drinks are reasonable but bottled drinks are limited for choices. Mostly young crowd. Men aren’t trying to grind up on you too much either, which is nice so you can just dance with your friends. Dance floor is packed(or was on Saturday night) but it isn’t so bad that it’s a body to body/drink spilling scene. Id say for a club, this is pretty great.

If there’s any indication AC was not doing so well, this place showed it. My friends and I had full intentions on a good time with open minds, but didn’t find it here. The $ 20 cover, although steep, was understandable. The club had a cool vibe, but just not a lot of people. The DJ was trying really hard to keep the crowd(of 15 or so) moving, but it just wasn’t working. We left and came back a few times to see if anything changed at different points in the night, but it didn’t. Alcohol prices a bit high, not a lot of people having a great time, killed our buzz.

Went here on Saturday after 1am for my birthday. Reserved a table with one bottle because there was 7 of us and the $ 20 cover + buying watered down drinks at the bar would have equaled the same(this no offense to the club, because EVERY club waters down their drinks). Staff was friendly and courteous especially with allowing us just one bottle for so many people which rarely happens. Music was typical EDM /TRAP stuff which was fine. The entire club is a circular layout. Bathrooms are pretty nice also. Looks as if the venue is a victim of neglect and I think the owners or casino just don’t really care about it anymore, as it felt dirty and dated. That is unfortunate because this club has pretty good potential. They even closed early :(

Even though, Dusk claims to be one of Atlantic city top-end clubs, I truly believe that it was an extreme waste of the $ 20 entry fee on Saturday night. Forget trying to get a glass of water, because all what they would be offering you is bottled water for $xx. Yes, there was good music with upbeat tunes, and yes you would be excited to dance but the dancing space is tight!!! NEVERBACKAGAIN! Two Unilocal

I’m sorry, I don’t even pay cover for clubs in Vegas. In VEGAS. But that’s fine, you can have my $ 10 and the 10 minutes of my life wasted in exchange for the lesson learned about ‘clubbing’ in AC. I’m just glad I considered it a sunk cost and called it a night. The night could have turned out so much worse. Whew. At 11:45PM on a Friday night the entire club was dead. Read: 10 guys standing at the bar, 3 girls dancing on the dance floor. I guess unless you are bringing the party, you shouldn’t even bother showing up. Honestly, I think Dusk could have gotten a 2 star review from me, but I was wholly turned off by how unprofessional the staff was. Sorry for wasting your time with my question, I will let you get back to whatever is so important on your phone. Stay away, ya’ll.

$ 10 cover, $ 10 drinks and it’s close to empty until midnight on a Friday. If Dusk wanted people to come back again they would be smart enough to run some advertisements, flyers or incentive to coming in. They no longer allow the free cover for Unilocal check in on any weeknight. Part of the reason I showed up was because I thought that there wasn’t a cover with that ad. Once inside no one was dancing at first but my partner in crime and I ignored it and we danced while wall flowers stood around chatting or whatnot. We definitely had fun even though the situation was beat. The music was pretty bad though. It was a lot of house with hip hop mixes. I’m not a fan of house or poppy repetitive club music and the dj couldn’t keep the crowd going when people did start to arrive. One thing that Dusk does have is a really cool setting: VIP areas, poles, lighting, plush seats, clean bathroom, security nearby, two bars ect… With that said business could be better if they changed a few things.(Original review re-edited)

I mean, I guess this club is cool because it’s conveniently located inside Caesar’s which means when it’s cold, you don’t have to wear a jacket if you’re staying in one of the connected hotels. The club itself is cool inside; really big, good lighting, and a bunch of tables if you’re a high roller. There are a bunch of poles, but the night I went, there weren’t any girls on them, so you could just use them yourself if you wanted to, haha. The drinks are, of course, ridiculously over-priced. A well drink was $ 11, and there was literally no alcohol in the one I got. The bartender was pretty rude as well — I asked for a glass of water and she said they«ran out» and that I had to buy a $ 5 bottle of water. I was like um HELLNO girl NOONERUNSOUTOFTAPWATER. Meh.

I have to say, the $ 5 cover charge was great for Friday night. Didn’t realize until it was too late that if you use the Unilocal app to check in, the cover is free. The dance floor is meh. It’s not huge, but it really didn’t need to be huge because this club was not even close to packed. The group was a mix of older and younger. However, lots and lots of couples. And there was plenty of soft core porn and lap dancing happening all over the floor. Along with some other things that should’ve been brought back to the hotel room for. The DJ was terrible this night. I don’t know what was up with him. He didn’t know how to properly transition from song to song so the beats were all off. Each time he switched songs, you could see the crowd just have to stop, listen for a few measures then realize what the new beat was. Also, his mix of songs were so short/poorly blended together. There’s definitely better out there. There has to be.

We went here midweek and got in free on a guest list. Can’t go wrong with free. Nothing bad to say other than it was really empty… music was decent but it was mid week. It might be better on the weekend

Came here on a Saturday night with two girlfriends. We paid a cover charge of $ 20 each to get in. But don’t be fooled! There’s a Unilocal deal on this club. When you check in on the app, you will get in FORFREE! Just check-in before you get to the counter! The music was just great for dancing. Great DJ. Top 40 remixes. The vibe was pretty laid back. They say there’s a dress code but I saw at least two women in casual shorts and flip flops. But overall the crowd was pretty dressed up. A few guys asked us to dance but nobody was overly pushy. The dance floor is in the center of the club with a walkway and VIP booths around the perimeter. It would have been nice to have some outdoor space, but it was easy enough to wiggle out of the dance floor to the perimeter to get more breathing room. Also the ladies room was HUGE! Not having to wait in a huge line was a nice suprise. The drinks were a little bit pricey but that is what I expected. A vodka cranberry was $ 11. But the service was pretty good. When my friend bought us round of drinks she accidentally left her credit card on the bar. The bartender chased us at least 30 feet through a thick crowd to give it back to her. THAT deserves a tip! :)

Came here on Tuesday night(believe it’s the only club open that day). AMAZING time! The DJ was playing mash ups from the past and present and it resulted in an awesome dancing night. He was AWESOME and website says it was DJ Sat-One. Pretty small venue, but cool circle shape and nice amount of risen«stage» all around to dance on. Also lots of space to rent tables/bottle service. The bar was busy, but never a long wait. Good drinks, but limited beer choice. Bathroom was also huge and clean and sinks everywhere — so cool. Only reason they are getting 4 stars(more like 4.8 honestly) is because of the experience getting in. I know it must be difficult dealing with tons of drunk people coming in the club, but we were on a guest list and told if we wanted the reduced admission to go upstairs, get a voucher, come back, wait on an extremely long line, and then get in. Only $ 5 more to skip the whole line, so we did that, but they were not nice or lenient. Not worth fighting over or ruining the night though — definitely recommended for a Tuesday fun time!

The older I get, the less appealing dance clubs become, but every so often, I end up in one. For my friends’ recent bachelor/bachelorette party, we ended up in Atlantic City and Dusk became the nightlife destination of choice. To start off, they don’t honor the Unilocal free cover offer on Saturdays, which was annoying because it doesn’t say so on the offer itself. I was redirected to two different people when I tried to use it, and eventually told they weren’t accepting it that night. Cover ended up being $ 20. Once inside, the venue was pretty spacious, clean, and the crowd demographic was nicely mixed. Unfortunately, the DJ that night wasn’t the greatest at song selection. He often played tracks that hardly anyone was dancing to. The bars were pretty understaffed and the drinks a bit on the pricey side. However, I did a appreciate that they allowed reentry. Overall, my experience was decent. Not great. Not terrible.

Came here on a Saturday night during for a friend’s 30th birthday and really enjoyed myself. The crowd was mixed 20s — 30s; worth mentioning since at my current age o 30 I feel like a grandma at a lot of clubs. Drinks were regularly prices at $ 12 — $ 15 for AC. You wouldn’t think the place is happening from the outside or the unfriendly people at the door… but it’s a great time. There were pole dancers and open poles for any new amateurs, I may or may not have tried to make some money for drinks… The music was top 40s and techno, but all dance-able. I wish I would’ve balled out for bottle service because they have a great seating area for VIP, around the dance floor AND you get good dancing space with in your section… which is usually not the case at most places. The dance floor is a bit on the smaller end, but it makes for a good time and if your single, a lot of mingling! Just be sure to dress to impress. Check in on Unilocal for FREEADMISSION(don’t let the guy in the front hustle you about a before 11PM check in, it doesn’t say that anywhere) or do the website guest list.

We went there as an AFTERPARTY after the toga party which was very good. It is a weird layout because to get in you have to go through the upstairs bar area which is open in terms of viewing to the casino. I’m not sure if that is to attract more patrons or shy them away by enticing them to play more. The actual entrance is to the right through a narrow entrance that leads downstairs which is dusk. Dusk in a basement setting sounds about right. The long curved stairway is quite treacherous for those who ventures on it upon chugging 15 drinks to the noggin during the course of the night. I’ve seen drunk girls, drunk men, and those who are just clumsy in general slip, fall and damn near kill themselves over those steps that evening. Ouch… The men’s bathroom is located just right after you get off the stairs so there’s that. Two main bars one to the left of the stairs and one straight towards the right. I didn’t drink because I had some poker playing to do BUT they were banging out drinks like clubs in NYC, albeit less sloppy. Music was on point. I am a BIGFAN of EDM and as such this venue was right up my alley. Even if I don’t party like I use to in college. Still the crowd was electric like the music as there were pole dancers in place and the floor was crowded. A few tidbits… A drunk white chick slapped my fedora(THATIS A NONO even for DRUNKENDEBAUCHERY) and complimented on my style. Thank you, but there is no need is trying to give me a concussion in the process. A drunk black chick tried to grab my face as her friends were hauling her ass out of there from intoxication. She took a firm grab and said«oohh I want him». I am sorry boo but I do not have that same feeling towards you. Especially, since you damn near tore my face off with your wet hands. I sanitized that area of my face REALQUICK. I attract the weirdest girls. I think it is time to re-up on my style. Fun times… You do have to get stamped on the way into the club to ensure easy access in and out of the venue. And last but not least Free admission +1 guest with Unilocal check-in. I’m not sure if it was just that weekend that enabled the freebie check-in but we definitely took advantage of it. Cheers Unilocal
