Atmosphere depends on the cover band playing. On this day, not so great. Paying a little extra to drink near the water on a nice day is never a bad thing. Make sure to check your bill before you leave. We were charged an extra $ 100 because the specials we were drinking weren’t reflected on the bill, they’ve had the same specials for at least 2 years. So either servers with poor knowledge or ill intentions. I guess things move slowly here. 25 minutes and 2 adjustments later it was fixed… but wtf???

Cool place to drink and watch and listen to the live band. Drinks are expensive but it is right on the beach. Food comes from the casino so expect it to be cold. Average food. Best thing is the happy hour prices and the live band. Bathrooms are like porta potties. Not clean.

After checking into our hotel we ventured out looking for a place to hang out in & enjoy the nice day. Found this bar through Unilocal,we decided to give it a try. Memorial Day weekend cover charge was $ 10 not bad at all, we came in the place was pretty crowded but still there was plenty of room to move around. Nice size area with plenty of seating, couches, tables & beer stands along with the bar & the stage for performing with plenty space to dance right in front. There was a live band playing don’t recall the name of the act but it was pretty entertaining. Once we got settled we stared with some drinks bar area was crowded so we grabbed a quick beer from one of the beer stands, got some Coronas not bad to start. After a few later on tried a Strawberry daiquiri pretty good & u could taste the alcohol. Next was the Passion fruit punch bucket good in theory, drink wasn’t bad but it has a lot of juice very filling had to get an extra shot of the rum in order to be able to finish it. This place was a lot of fun, great music playing when the act wasn’t on stage, service was a bit slow at the bar but ok since it was a crowded holiday weekend, prices were not bad good day spent here.

Best beach bar in AC. Great layout, waitresses quick to serve, great views and plenty of sun to soak up during the afternoon.

It was slow to start but people started arriving after midnight. Music was good. The seats close to the beach are wet. Unfortunately these were the most comfy. Drinks were served in plastic cups, which kind of cheapen things.

Nice place… Great weather… Food was good and so were the drinks. Although they are extremely expensive for the amount they give you. Overall it gets a three

I give this place 2 stars only for location, as it’s a short walk from Caesars, where we stayed. We got there at 11:45 am, but they didn’t open until 12 which is nuts for a tourist dependent city. Us tourists come here to get our drink on early! Once we got in, we sat at the bar. The bar smelled awful, the same as everything else on the boardwalk. Ordered two bloody marys for the mother and myself. Pretty sure we got a splash of vodka and a lot of mix in a tiny tiny tiny cup. Plus, NOOLIVES. What even is that? Who serves bloody marys without olives?! At over $ 9 bucks a drink, I was not a happy camper. We left after one drink, never to return.

Went here yesterday. There wasn’t a cover to get in. Only one bar and about 30 seats around it, but they have tables and couches for people who get bottles(although I’m not sure why you would). The drinks are pretty pricey(13 or so), and they vary in strength depending on the bartender. This one guy seemed pretty gruff when taking our order. Waitresses run around carrying drinks to people on the beach, although you can’t take them to the boardwalk(lame). Of the 3 beach bars we wandered into, this was the best. Music was current and not too loud. I saw portapotties for a bathroom, yuck. I’d say trek back to the casino and answer nature’s call there.

Daytime summer fun! This beach bar is located right on the beach obviously lol. Super fun place although this place is a first come first serve find a table & seat and grab it. There was a $ 5 cover charge entering not sure if it was because it was 4th of July weekend or normally a cover charge on a regular basis. The drinks were kind of pricey but I’m not surprised. There was a dj /live music and overall the ambience felt kind of jersey shore meatheads w/their near perfect waxed eyebrows. Way to feminine it’s kind of scary. Not my kind of scene but there was a bar on the beach! Drinks, dranks and food! — Coconut Shrimp(I would pass on ordering this) — Guacamole & Chips(This is by far my favorite) — Chicken Caesar Salad(I’m not a veggie person so I ate the chicken while my friend ate the veggie. The caesar dressing is to die for! Ask for extra dressing because once you order it that’s it. The food comes from inside Bally’s restaurant I believe because when we ordered the food took a awhile and we see the busboy’s /waitress’s carrying brown bags into the beach bar. So the food is definitely not coming directly from the beach bar. Service was ok.

3 stars for location. Overpriced drinks($ 11 for a frozen marg, according to the menu.) So, we had to complain when they charged us a whopping $ 13 each. The manager made it right and comped our drinks, so props for that. Just check your bill in case you are distracted by the bikini-clad waitresses.

Summertime Casino gambling at the shore The sea breezes on the beach Cold beer and potent cocktails Sexy bikini clad waitresses working the deck Drink specials throughout the week Bar food menu to munch on Pumping music and live bands Plenty of seating to hang out on and people watch Hot chicks and meathead guys strutting their stuff on the dance floor A bit pricey but worth the fun beachy scene It’s kind of cool in a low-brow way that keeps us coming back whenever we are here for a weekend getaway Oh yeah, we’ll be back here this weekend with a frosty brew in hand partying at the shore! Sunglasses on, a drink in hand, enjoying the views Life is good at a casino beach bar in Atlantic City Party on

I really enjoy going to the Total Rewards Hotels/Casinos in AC, Bally’s being my favorite, UNTILNOW. Unfortunately, I am not a big gambler, but I spend an abundance of money on food and drinks, and from this past experience, I will NEVER spend 1 red cent in Bally’s AC or ANY of the Total Rewards Hotels again. I would say that the amount I spend in food or drinks supersedes that of most casual gamblers who play penny machines. I spend A LOT. My girlfriends and I stayed at Bally’s this past weekend(5÷29−5÷31), and while the room was decent, my experience enjoying the entertainment was not of the same caliber. My went to the Beach Bar during the day on Saturday, 5/30, and I ordered a special drink for my friends and I to share, a drink that came in a long plastic flute, which required special straws. Since the place was crowded and filled with idiot, drunk, day-drinkers, an intoxicated man bumped into me when I was leaving the bar area, and my straws fell out of the flute. So, I waited to ask a bartender to replace my straws, but after waiting for a good 5 minutes with not so much as a look at me, I took 3 straws from a close-by container. A male bartender(I have the name, but I will not disclose) immediately comes over to me and tells me that his manager wants to have me arrested for taking 3 straws, and he was NOT joking. I explained what happened with the intoxicated patron who was clearly over-served bumping into me, causing me to lose my straws, and he proceeded to tell me that if I wanted extra straws, I would have to buy one drink for every straw I took. In a friendly way, I mentioned that there are NO signs in, on, or around the bar area saying that Drink Sharing is Not Allowed, and I was sharing the drink with my friends because we each didn’t want a whole drink. Again, in an aggressive, nasty tone, he told me what I did was stealing, and that I should be arrested. I offered to return the straws, and he declined, implying that there are cameras all around the bar. I told him that I hope they roll the footage of the over-served, overly-intoxicated man bumping into me, creating the reason for me to need new straws, and I want management to see how I was neglected for over 5 minutes waiting to get new straws. I also said that I hope there is sound on these cameras so that his supervisors can experience how he is speaking to a paying, non-intoxicated bar/hotel guest. It was absurd that I even had to explain ANYTHING to this man, because isn’t the customer always right when rules are not broken? I felt threatened, harassed, and completely embarrassed because, as I mentioned above, the bar was very crowded, and more than one person witnessed this conflict. I was a bartender for over 10 years, throughout my college days and beyond, and these particular bartenders need to focus on how much patrons are drinking as opposed to the tips they are making, because the gentleman that bumped into me was CLEARLYOVERHISLIMIT, and yet, he was still being served. I understand that casinos are closing left and right in the dumpy town of Atlantic City, but is Bally’s that hard up for a 3 cent straw that I was threatened arrest? If I was actually arrested, what would a judge say when the reason for arrest was because I needed to replace a straw? I didn’t steal anything, not money on the bar, not a napkin, not a new cup, not a drink, I just wanted to replace the straws that fell out of my cup when an intoxicated bar patron bumped into me. And after waiting over 5 minutes before I took the straws, my $ 15 drink was nice and watery due to the abundant ice melting. What an appalling experience… and the AUDACITY of the bartender to threaten to have me arrested over straws. You call that customer service? That was a disgusting, shameful display of an exertion of force on a paying, pleasant customer, and one who spends a bunch of money on overpriced drinks. Maybe management should consider sending secret shoppers into the Beach Bar to test their bartenders, and to monitor how much they are over-serving patrons just to make a few extra bucks. I will be taking my business back to Mr. Trump. Thank you for harassing me, bartender. I will be sending this review in the form of a more formal letter to upper level management in Ballys and in the Total Rewards realm, as well as the NJ Governor’s Office, AC Mayor’s Office, and the County Police Chief/Sheriff so that they are made aware of how irresponsible bartenders at the Bally’s Beach Bar over-serve their bar guests. If you would like to know a brief bit about me, I am the Financial Controller/CFO of a Rapidly Growing Retail Company, and I have multiple degrees from top universities across the nation: point being that I am not freeloading, imbecile looking to create problems for no reason. If someone in Bally’s AC sees this and would like to speak with me further, I would be MORETHANHAPPY to discuss my experience in better detail.

What a treat to walk by and hear music playing from the beach only to find that the one and only JOHNEDDIE was playing! It was very cold for Memorial Day weekend, but that did not keep a small audience from singing along and dancing with JE. It was a great night in AC and the Bikini Bar is perfect with plenty of outside seating, a big bar and lots of room to dance!

The location of Bally’s Bikini Beach Bar is pretty clutch, especially since it’s right on the beach overlooking the water and not too far from the pier where you can easily get food for a lot cheaper. Drink pricing was a little steep, but every drink is steep in Atlantic City, so it didn’t bother me(it was only a weekend thing anyway). I will say though, the live music and the wait staff were pretty great. I was asked every 15 minutes or so by a different waitress if I needed anything to drink since it was brutally hot out the day we went. The music wasn’t too loud, and fit with the vibe of the bar pretty well. We were pretty sold on the corn hole set up they had going on near the front of the deck that was open to anyone. Since everyone I was with played, we ended up getting a couple games going and met a few people in the process. Only downside I saw was that after we got in, they started charging a $ 5 cover charge, which seemed like a waste to me. You’re already going to pay $ 5+ for a drink that shouldn’t be, why bother putting up a cover charge? Other than that, we had a pretty good time.

Conceptually I’m a little lost on the idea… Pay for drinks on a small deck area… when you could just bring your own drinks packed into a cooler, lay out on the beach with the sand beneath you and a cool breeze coming off the water. For me, it just seems like I’d rather be on the beach, or in the casino. Being located between the two, you don’t seem to be getting the best of either side. $ 5 cover charge, which wasn’t bad and the music was good until they brought in a live act that was nothing special and seemed like they drove away some of the crowd. You could hear the music from on the beach anyways, so nothing special about being inside. If you didn’t bring your own drinks to the beach, you could go in and ask for a waitress to come to your location on the beach, which was the only part I could really understand that would make you want to utilize the bar area, but maybe I’ve just seen it done better elsewhere. If they offered some table games out on the beach, I could see why this would have been a good idea. Gets the gambling part of the casino but out in the sun.

Just your average AC beach bar. There’s nothing special about Bally’s Bikini Beach Bar… but it has that«right on the beach» thing going for it. The drinks are overpriced and/or small but I guess that’s the premium you need to pay for being right on the beach. I most recently visited on Labor Day; it had rained all day but the sun broke sometime in the late afternoon. There are a few specials each day and Monday’s special included Cabo Wabo Margaritas. For $ 6 you received a moderately strong, 8 – 10 ounce drink. As we learned, the better deal is with the yards. For our next round, my husband and I split the 24 ounce«Can’t Drive 55». It wasn’t super strong, but it was larger and refreshing. There was a live musician playing an acoustic guitar at the time of the visit. He was playing some classic cover songs but also had his own canned applause. Take from that what you will. The Bikini Beach bar is always a fun time in a good location, but I probably wouldn’t seek it out over other AC/beach bar options.

While walking along the boardwalk you can hear the sounds of top 40 rising up in the air that makes you want to stop and get your dancing on right there on the boardwalk. My friends and I came for drinks and dancing. There was no cover. The drinks were delicious and the music was the best part of the night. Garden State Radio, a cover band, was there performing. The female lead singer was awesome as she would jump off the stage and dance and sing with the people at the bar. SHEWASREALLYGOOD! There weren’t very many people there that night but I’m sure it was because it was a COLD night. When it warms up, I have no doubt this place will be poppin’. Besides, I enjoy dancing much more when I don’t have to rub up on sweaty bodies accidentally. ;) This spot was definitely the highlight of my AC trip and I’d rather come here than pay some crazy cover for the Pool After Dark(which we did do the next night).
