I went to West Paces Ferry Shell for a full revision of my car in March 2009.
I went yesterday to another garage for a problem with my car. They told me the issue probably came from the Spark wires because they’ve never been replaced since I bought the car (1998!) and with 167,000 miles on the odometer, they’re long time due. I was a little surprised because I take my car for revisions on a regular basis and I keep track of everything I get done to make sure I don’t forget anything.
I went back home and researched my receipts. In March 2009 I was charged $ 80 in labor to replace Spark Plugs and Wires and $ 60 for a spark plug wireset by West Paces Ferry Shell. I went back to the garage where my car is at right now and showed them the receipt. Their answer: «…I can guarantee you your Spark wires are not from 2009, I’m sorry… «
$ 140 bill for something that didn’t get done…
