I truly just feel like it’s a hit or miss. In the past I had maybe TWO good experiences and that’s when Brittoni and Nikki worked there. The most recent time I went, Alexis did my hair and I felt extremely cheated. Why did they persuade me to pay more than I wanted to or even NEEDED to. If your package advertises for a trim then include a damn trim in it. Not a light clip of the ends. Also, don’t let them talk you into getting a net if you don’t need one. I came out with a thin, horrible sew-in. If I bring three bundles, I want you to use all three bundles. She used two and a bit of the third and I was charged the full price for the bundle. My hair came out looking thin and my leave out wasn’t blending right for some reason, a problem I have never had. I went back two days later for her to add more hair and she still made it a problem. I hate to say but I should’ve known that if your stylist’s hair doesn’t look good then she probably won’t do a good job on you. You’re better off finding a stylist on Style Seat. There’s a reason they’re shutting down… but that’s none of my business.

Took 19 year old daughter for partial sew-in. Positives: shop clean, opened on time, staff friendly enough and she was in and out in 1.5 hrs. We went on a Saturday morning at 8:15am. Improvements needed: Daughter felt tracks were not well placed and her hair seemed too flat. She did get single tracking but when I inspected at home, there was a track not even anchored down, just loose on the end and thread exposed! The tracks were generally loosely sewn in, so yes, you do get what u pay for. Also charging $ 15 extra to flat iron the tiny bit of leave-out hair felt like nickle and diming.

So I went to the the Dunwoody location after reading reviews. When I got there I told the receptionist I wanted the Legend. I was told my service would be $ 150, even though the website had it listed as $ 110. I was annoyed but I had a wedding to go to and settled to pay whatever they were asking for. I was asked to sit down and wait to be attended to. That’s when I noticed that there was customer that was already seated that had her hair already sectioned off but not braided. I noticed this because there was not stylist in sight. So here we were, two customers, and no stylist in the shop at all. So I was even more annoyed. Finally after about 10 minutes of waiting they show up. Apparently they had to go buy my thread… but shouldn’t they always have that on deck??? Its a sew in shop. Who’s in charge of inventory? Anyway when the stylist finally showed up I took a good look at their own hair, because I wanted to have an idea what I could expect if they did my own hair. Child, these girls didn’t have a visible hair follicle from their eye brows to their scalps!!! They had no edges. NONE. Their hairlines started somewhere in their scalp… Then their weaves. smh One had a red wavy weave that was clearly a weave with a very evident closer. The other also had a 1b wavy weave that you could tell from across the street was a weave. She summoned me to the back to get my hair braided, but after looking at them I did a U turn for the door. I will never be back. Looking at the stylist I learned two things very quickly, they will not care about the health of my hair(because clearly they don’t care about their own) and they can’t sew in a a natural looking weave.

Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience at this salon. When walking in, the receptionist wasn’t the most professional. When asking the stylist what she recommended as far as styles, I was told that«it was up to me». The male braider was very friendly so that was good. My weave lasted literally 2 weeks before the tracks started to literally fall off the net. I would not suggest anyone going there because ethe quality of service is not good. I am currently looking for a new salon.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I had my hair done there a full sew-in the“Icon”. The women«Toya» who is the stylist there did it. She was timely except it didn’t even last for a week. The sew-in string was coming out! The Net was coming off my head. The Crown was coming of my head too. I was furious! I called up and let them know what was happening they said they would«fix it. «I went in the next day had to bring in new hair because i didn’t know the condition of the hair was in. They had the nerve to want to charge me $ 50. For the botched job. I said I did feel I should pay because the«stylist» did a bad job. They insisted I pay or they were going to call the police. I was so offended!!! 2 other«stylist» ran out to my car and started taking pictures of my tag of my car and was going to call the police. I have never seen so much unprofessional-ism. I called the corporate and tried to talk to the manager. But they never returned my phone calls. I did pay on my Amex just so I could cancel the transaction. If you want to be hustled, have a bad job, and deal with unskilled staff this spot is for you.

I have been going to my stylist for over 10 years and hard to please! I was very impressed with the service, price, cleanliness and overall experience. I give it the proof is in the pudding I would recommend this to my closest and dearest friend. I left feeling gorgeous and satisfied!!! Installation was to perfection and braids were perfect size. I was doing a lot of internet research for an establishment in Atlanta that offered sew in extensions at an inexpensive price; being that it was my first time getting a weave I didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for something I ended up not liking. I ended up stumbling across Walk in Weaves and the reviews were mixed but for $ 50 I decided to give it a try. So from the reviews I read that they don’t really take appointments so I had the idea to get there early before the shop opened but I guess 5 other women had the same idea I did because there were already In the waiting area. Upon walking in I was a little put off by the appearance of the shop the stylist stations looked disorganized and a little dirty(Probably because of the dim lighting). At this point I’d been waiting for about 4 hours and to be honest a little annoyed but I knew it wasn’t the employee’s fault the shop was so busy. When my name was called I was greeted by the braider who was very pleasant. I loved how detailed she was with me about how much of my own hair I wanted out, how I part my hair, and constantly checking with me to make sure she wasn’t braiding my hair too tight. After she finished braiding my hair I went on to the stylist who was just as great as the braider. I purchased kinky curly hair so that it would match my curl pattern. I know it must have been a pain for her to seperate the wefts because of tangling but she never complaind and had a smile on her face the entire time. She wanted to make sure I felt beautiful before leaving her chair and i did So all in all I highly recommend this place, just make sure you don’t have any plans that day. No you won’t get the quality décor of a high end salon but you do get friendly, hard working, talented stylist at a great price.

Very pleased with the service. The cut was not good… still looked a look wiggy but the install was great.

What can I say. First time to try this place and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I went in the suppose to be receptionist was seating behind the too tall counter where she couldn’t acknowledge customers. I signed a sign in sheet and then someone took me back still no hello. The braider claim I needed to rewash my hair because I put Shea butter in my hair. I have never heard of such a thing. I said no I prefer it grease to avoid breakage. The braider did my braids so freaking tight I didn’t know what to do. As I finish she told me to have a seat the next stylish would get me. I waited as she finished and she went about her business for a good 30 minutes. She came back and grab someone else who was AFTER me. I said something to the so call receptionist aka DJ. She said no you are not forgotten. She asked was the lady in the chair before me I said no I was getting braided when she walked in. She did not do anything about it and I sat there and had to freaking wait while my turn got skip. Their business needs a facelift customers are first and thye need to learn to treat them better.

I went to this salon last Saturday. The atmosphere was wonderful and pleasant. My hair was braided by Rosa. She did it fast and not too tight. Then Connie did my sew-in. WONDERFULPERSON!!! I brought my hair from the salon, and I’ve had minimal shedding. I will DEFINITELY be returning soon. My reason for giving 5 stars is because this salon really reminded me of my salon in my hometown. Update: went in again yesterday and loved it once again. This time I had Yvette.
