AVOIDTHISPHARMACYATALLCOSTS! I would give this place zero stars if I could. I’ve just moved into the neighborhood and thought I would go there to get my prescription filled. Worse decision ever! It was a two hour wait. The staff is seriously incompetent and slow! The cashier was rude and very slow. You would think they would be nice to sick people. The lines are ridiculous.

This has to be the worst Walgreens ever! Always understaffed in the pharmacy. Lines around the corner. The store is not well kept and the staff is not at all courteous. Probably because they are over worked due to lack of workers.

Bob is a wonderful pharmacist and was super helpful and quick. So nice when people know What they are doing!

I will say upfront that I HATE the drive up to this place. It is tight to turn in when other cars are coming out. Both on North and into shopping center. Ugh. I also hate the parking spots. They are too narrow. I do like that the store is open 24 hours. Typically, there are loiterers outside– they gotta work on that. Prices are affordable for the most part and lots of great deals. Make sure to check their monthly coupon book. This store tends have more items that other Walgreens that I go to. But you have to grab it when you see it, cause it may not be around for long. Slipper socks I bought before– gone. Head wrap I purchased– gone. *sigh* Note: if you buy these items that are only sold here, you need to return it here. Other Walgreens stores will not process your return.

You could keel over waiting for your RX. I think this is where they send either trainees or really sloooow workers.

All this store had going for it was it’s convienient 24 hr pharmacy. Well now that over 4000+ new people have moved into the neighborhood their corporate bean counters have now closed the pharmacy now at 11. Poor people that have to work in this hole at night now. Very unsafe!!! It’s basically an urban camper outpost. If your looking for a 24 hr pharmacy go to the CVS on Boulevard. If you’re looking for foodstuffs, etc, Kroger is just .5 miles east and is much nicer since the renovation. I hate to be crude, but let this close so that another store can open across from the new hospital, and serve all of the thousands of new residents in the community. If their corporate is too cheap to hire security to patrol the lot, and closes the only Intown pharmacy, who needs to give them any money?!? It will be a short inconvience, but I’d rather see a company/store that will invest in the community… CVS on Boulevard is 24 hrs for the whole store!!!

Longest lines ever, incompetent staff. No one seems to know what’s going on — will never return to this pharmacy. Worst Walgreens I’ve ever patronized.

Are you frigging kidding me Walgreens? I’ve been coming here for over 10 years because unfortunately it’s the only option for buying anything after midnight, but tonight was the last straw. Lines are always a mile long, absolutely incompetent, careless cashiers, homeless people EVERYWHERE, no one gives a single f*** at this place. Employees refuse to open extra registers and will not help you if you’re being harassed by a homeless, even if it’s inside the store. Corporate should shut this location down if they can’t control their employees.

It takes forever to get prescriptions filled. Today I have waited thirty minutes(first twenty in my car and 10 in the store) and I still haven’t been able to speak to a represenative.

This Walgreen’s has two things going for it. It’s close to where I live and it’s open 24 hours. There’s no rushing to pick up prescriptions because they never close. Actually, there’s a third thing, their Balance Rewards card, which gives you points for every prescription filled and for certain purchases. It’s easy to accumulate points and you can redeem 5000 points for $ 5 worth of merchandise. I’m always redeeming points for small purchases which means I get it free or for next to nothing. Everybody loves to talk about how sketchy the parking lot is. Hardly. Yes, there are the occasional panhandlers and yes they can be annoying, but a simple«No,» or «Not today,» suffices. I’ve never seen more than one or two and I’ve always felt safe. Plus, they’re regulars, just like the customers! The wild characterizations in other reviews are simply off base. I’ve found the service at the pharmacy to be okay and always cordial. I’ve opted for automatic refills so it’s an easy stop to run inside or use the drive thru. Make no mistake, this is a busy pharmacy. Don’t expect idle chit chat. Don’t expect prescriptions to be filled in five minutes — there’s not a pharmacy around that does that. And don’t be bitchy with the pharmacist because you don’t know you’re insurance coverage and you have to pay an arm and a leg for something not covered by your plan. My one complaint is that they don’t always have a medicine on hand. But they can order anything and receive it the next day. Still, who wants to make two trips. Overall, I’m a loyal customer of this Walgreen’s and I’ll remain that way until something better comes along.

This Walgreens seems not to care about their customers time. I easily would buy quick items that I needed from Walgreens before but now I can’t because the wait t terrible. Even going during three times at different shift, I still wait for too long whether I go inside or through the drive through. I love walgreens the company but hate dealing with this store. They haven’t gotten my address correct after changing it multiple times over three years.

Doesn’t even deserve a star but the circus you see there with the clientele makes it worth it. The pharmacy will rarely pick up the phone and is extremely slow. It seems they are really understaffed quite a bit. Probably their corporate office puts cost over value.

they were fine and helpful. I went in to make some 130 pictures and also a couple of pics for passport, I was a bit surprised with the low quality of passport pics, but I still used the pics. I hope they wont be rejected. Overall, the person there was helpful… although some guy approached me at the store and asked me if i could spare a dollar for a joke… but guess thats not wall greens problem.

This review is for the PHARMACY, the slowest pharmacy I’ve ever used. It’s currently 8:26 pm on a Saturday and I’ve been the second person in line for almost 30 mins! The staff isn’t friendly once you finally do reach the counter, no apologies for the delay or any signs of trying to make customers happy. This is close to my house, but I think the drive to another pharmacy may be worth it!

In summary, the pharmacy is terrible, but the clinic is great. If the clinic gives you a prescription, don’t get it filled here. It took an hour and a half, with me having to babysit them multiple times, to get a prescription filled. The prescription came from the clinic in the building. While my experience at the pharmacy was terrible, the clinic was great! The physician walked by about 45 minutes into my wait, noticed me, remembered my name, and sincerely apologized for my wait on behalf of the pharmacy. More on my clinic experience: the physician was very attentive, knowledgeable, courteous, etc, and I was admitted shortly after my appointment time.

Understaffed. Poorly run. And lots of drug activity in the parking lot. I go because it close, but wouldn’t go otherwise.

This review is for the PHARMACY, not the store, although the parking lot of this place is super sketchy and full of drunk homeless people. The store itself is ok. This pharmacy is absolutely HORRIBLE! I only go there because it’s the closest to where I live, but it’s totally worth it to just keep going down North Ave to use Kroger’s pharmacy instead. And after today, I’m not coming back. They take FOREVER. I waited over an hour today getting a prescription that came from the healthcare clinic that is inside THESAMEBUILDING, LIKE10FEETFROMTHEPHARMACY. I was told that they didn’t have my prescription info, and that the nurse lady in the clinic must’ve forgot to send it over. The girl at the counter told me to go back and knock on the door. I didn’t want to do that because there was another patient being seen and I didn’t want to invade someone’s privacy. After about 10 mins, the girl at the counter said she got it, and that she’ll have it ready for me in «about 20 mins». About 45 mins later I was getting pissed, so I walked back to the counter to see what the deal was. She told me to wait another 10 mins. Ridiculous. And there was only like 1 other person waiting for a prescription. The last time I was here(about a year ago) I waited for 2 hours. I hate this place. Don’t use the pharmacy… EVER.

I hate this Walgreens. Unfortunately it is the closest one to me. Why do I hate thee? Let me count the ways! 1. Frequently of of stock — over the last year they did not have 1 out of 2 prescriptions. And they don’t tell you when you drop it off, so when you come back i. Two hours you find out you get to come back for the third time 2. A skeezy parking lot full of drunks, bums, druggies and homeless people. Nice! 3. Today, i went to pick up a prescription my doc had sent in and they claimed not to have received it. Turned out their store was having computer problems, not my doctor’s mistake. Please Walgreens, put a CVS with a whole new pharmacy in a better part of midtown. This one needs to be shut down!

Still loving the 24 hour pharmacy. Not loving their lack of supply. They must do a shit ton of business here because they were actually sold out of generic Ambien for several days. I tried to transfer my prescription to CVS so it could be filled(and I could go to sleep) and they gave me all kinds of grief. They told CVS it had already been transferred to another Walgreens and couldn’t be transferred again. Lies. Their online refill system lies too. On day 2 I got an email saying my prescription was ready. Nope. Then it was missing in the system. Other times one medication will be ready, but not another one that was submitted at the same time. It’s really annoying. The pharmacy staff here is really friendly and the pharmacists are remarkably nice. Again, this is a high volume store and I can only imagine the stuff they have to put up with on a daily basis. I just wish their electronic ordering systems worked better.
