The food was great but the staff was awful. Music blaring so loud the waitress had trouble hearing our order. Staff was dancing around more worried about dance moves than doing their job. Go to another Waffle House. This one is a hot mess.

Waffle House is very much an experience of getting what you pay for. The food was good enough, though there seemed to be some extra grease on my eggs. The service was really the main fault — servers who were more interested in playing music from their phones(speaker, not ear buds) and discussing the latest Will Smith movie rather than providing or refilling a glass of water. WaHo is good for the kitsch, not much else.

I mean. What can you write about Waffle House? Two words: All-Star Breakfast! As a Georgia Tech student, this is your place when you are struggling with your research at Tech Square Research Building. I ate countless times here, and every single time it rocks! Join SAA and you get a free waffle too!

I’m giving this Waffle House 3 starts not for the food because like every Waffle House I’ve been at, the food is great, but because of its condition. Location is near Georgia Tech, and I believe due to that traffic in the place must be crazy, so first impression wasn’t the greatest. Area needed a little TLC and customer service could use a little revamping. It took a bit for us to be noticed and seated. Once we were seated it took a bit to take our order after that everything ran smoothly but again, first impression is a make it or breach it deal and I can say this for me at least at this Waffle House was a break it.

Horrible customer service. We sat down and waited about 10 mins and no help. Problem was the table behind us came AFTER us and got helped and there was a guy at the front not doing anything and then we move to the bar and hope to get service there and the guy doing nothing greets the table that sat down at the table we left! Really? After 3am or so, I think all the servers get racist. Didn’t want to help the white customers that were there. Waited at the bar for 10 mins and no help. Screw this place. I guess because you are downtown you have to be black or ghetto to get served here. Will never go to this waffle house again. I’ve been to plenty other ones with no problem.

In terms of Waffle Houses, this is as good as it gets. Good service, typical diner food, and VERY clean! Also enjoyed the Georgia Tech atmosphere at this location.

Slice of pie for $ 1.10? Its for real! My friends and I were on a quest for late-night dessert. At or around 10 p.m., what’s open on campus? Waffle House. Although WH is a chain, this must be a Georgia Tech institution, because its where the college students study and grab breakfast for dinner and 4th meal at 10 p.m. at night. My friends and I aren’t GT students, but we decided to come to WH for dessert because, well, it was open and we had passed by enough times to see how packed it usually is at any given time of day. We ordered three slices of pecan pie. We could tell the pies were packaged and had been in the fridge, but our waitress offered to warm them. She forgot to bring back the 3rd pie slice with her, and this wasn’t the best piece of pecan pie I’ve ever had. It was the largest slice(and we ordered a small slice, too) and perhaps the gooiest of pieces, though. The service was great for a place on campus. I wouldn’t recommend WH for its pies, unless you want sugary-nutty pie, but if I were a college kid on a budget, this would be my go-to place for breakfast for dinner and diner fare. Because even McDonald’s doesn’t sell apple pies at this bargain price any more!

It was dirty. The service was terrible. The employees were very loud, ghetto & they act like they’re all high school hoodrats. Playing around like children. I came here after work and no one greeted me when I walked in. There was poor communication with the employees. You could see about 5 other workers sitting down in the back just relaxing while there were only a few customers in the restaurant and we all had to wait a long time for someone to take our order and to get the food. The floors were dirty, the tables, it was pretty gross. And the woman who took my order forgot two things I ordered so I had to get it when I was leaving. It seemed like there was no manager working because the employees were basically doing whatever they wanted to. Acting very unprofessional. There was even this one really ratchet girl with tattoos and leggings, and her stomach hanging out, walking all in the back with long weave and she didn’t even have a hair net on. Pretty unsanitary. I definitely won’t be coming back. Management needs to step in.

This place is always packed so i figured it must have been for a good reason. I decided to hit the Waffle house up with a few buddies for some good olé chicken and waffles! The waffles were quite amazing if i do say so myself! The chicken on the other hand other hand was just mediocre. seemed to had been sitting around for a little while and not the freshest fried chicken i had come by. Will still return again in the future when im craving some good old southern comfort food.

I love this chain. Love it! WF is a greasy spoon, so don’t go here expecting healthy fare. Well they do have some salads, but why would you go to WH for salad?! Anyway, I love the options to customize the hash browns and I’ve ordered nothing but customized grilled cheese sandwiches to accompany my hash browns. The staff are friendly, which makes sense for this very hospitable city.

I like Waffle House, not only because it’s fast and delicious, but also because it’s 24÷7÷365. I like the cheese omelette here. I like Waffle House.

I love Waffle House! I would eat it everyday if I could. But this particular Waffle House is nasty. The tables were nasty, the employees had SERIOUS attitudes with EVERYONE. I go to georgia tech, so I have been here a few times. If you’re looking for a nice Waffle House in town, don’t pick this one!

Stumbled in here after doing some drinking in downtown. This was my first time in Atlanta and first time at the W.H. I had heard about this place through several rap songs and some of my friends who had visited ATL, so I decided ‘why not cross it off the the foodie bucket list’. The restaurant reminded me of a place out in Los Angeles called the«Quick n’ Split». Not the cleanest or most organized restaurant, but the food was good. I got a Texas chicken sandwich with some hashbrowns and you will hear no complaints. The staff was really nice even though they weren’t the quickest out there. They also didn’t know their own menu, but they weren’t rude and explained that the specials had recently changed so they were still trying to remember all the details about them. After stuffing my face I went back to my hotel room and called it a night. Woke up this morning with no hangover, but I did have a stomach ache. Lol.

What’s not to like about the Waffle House? The service is excellent, especially when you get there at 6:30 am when everyone else in the general area is snoozing away. And as a special treat, there was no problem with street parking. I had a pecan waffle with a side of toast, hash browns and a couple of scrambled eggs. My eyes were to big for my stomach since I couldn’t finish the whole meal. Everything tasted great. The only negative was they didn’t have the greatest tunes playing but I easily rectified that situation when I moved over to the Starbucks down the street when they opened.

I love Waffle House! I’m not from the South and I don’t usually eat diner food, but this was a great treat! First of all, the prices are insanely low for full breakfasts(eggs, starch, waffles, coffee) and totally worth it. The food is more than acceptable quality, and it’s a good value for what you might get at a more«upscale» restaurant. Because we were in town for a conference at Georgia Tech, I appreciated that it was near our hotel and right by the campus shuttle. The service was typical Souther hospitality and the food came out really quickly. Definitely try Waffle House!

I came here at 7AM in the morning on a Wednesday. I needed to get a good breakfast as the hotel I was staying at had breakfast but charged a bit much for the croissant sandwich I had each morning. This location is close to Georgia Tech and you can see many of the students and staff coming by to grab something to go or eat for a short bit. I sat at the counter and watched the cooks at the grill fulfill orders. Fast and efficient. The wait staff was also fast and efficient. I had the managers special — eggs, bacon, waffle, coffee and toast. It was filling and good. Fresh from the grill as I watched them cook everything. For the price $ 8 total — I was thoroughly satisfied. There were other waffles I had wanted to try but this was the only day I was going to get in here due to work. The place is clean and for the service and timing of everything — I would come back here again for breakfast each day if I could.

So clean menu wasn’t even sticky!!! Service was good, food was good. Be sure to pay for parking, I got a ticket… totally mis-read the sign or either the rules changed while I was in there. Didn’t even notice I had the ticket until 2 days later when I noticed something flapping in the wind on my windshield. Glad it didn’t blow off… oh but this is about Waffle House. I just can’t get over how clean this waffle house was. Sometimes I dont even want to go to Waffle House because of how sticky it is. I like this location.

If Krogers in Atlanta get names, I vote we should also start naming the Waffle Houses, and I would propose Club Waffle for this one, because the sound track was bumping on an early Saturday morning. Though they were slammed with early GT tailgaters(aww, coffee and waffles on gameday mornings, how cute!), the servers were not only providing fantastic service, they were also having a great time, singing, dancing, and generally making my breakfast so much more than just a great order of crispy hashbrowns. In fact, I may have actually caught myself singing along to «Call Me Maybe,» though I’ll blame that on the fact that the caffeine from my diet coke had yet to register with my brain. I’m a fan of the Waffle House concept overall. For fast food prices, you get food that is actually cooked fresh in front of you and of reasonable freshness. You can see their baskets of whole eggs(no bagged egg product here), and I love that Waffle Houses don’t have fryers. A plain waffle rings in at just over 300 calories, so it’s not even that bad for you from a caloric standpoint. And their diet cokes come with unlimited refills(and a to go cup, if you ask nicely) for only $ 1.55, which has to be the cheapest fountain drink in Midtown. This is also the only Waffle House I’ve ever seen with a patio, making this also the classiest Waffle House I’ve ever seen, because dining al fresco is possibly the only way to class up eating a huge plate of scattered and capped hash browns. And of course, upping the class factor is of everyone’s utmost concern when searching for an under $ 5 breakfast.

Waffle House? FINALLYONTECH? YES. Now for being a waffle house, this place is pretty freakin legit. Mediocre as any waffle house is, yes, but since it’s still pretty new its pretty clean and nice looking, and the layout appears to be pretty different from other waffle houses. That being said, I’d say its the best waffle house I’ve been to, and the staff is pretty nice, even with tons of people around.
