Venue Gallery

So I attended an event here for Living Walls this year. There were great things about the space and then some odd ones. First off the pros… the place has three large rooms with a ton of space for a crowd, small parking lot on site, then you can pretty much do what ever the heck you want since you are not going to break anything, you can paint on the walls or throw drill into the walls if you need to, it has that abandoned building feel because it basically is just that. The cons… well it is not the best place to drive to really, sort of sketchy as hell, then there was this odd smell in the front are near the kitchen and restroom, it just smelled fowl like a old turd in a toilet, finally it was very odd that there were people living in the event space while you are there doing your thing, no issue with the folks but it has to be odd for them also, i mean I do not think I could handle a DJ in my living room on a regular basis. Overall the place was great for the event though. I had a great night and enjoyed seeing a new part of the city I never knew was there.
