When pulling up, it appears to look like an oil change shop. Then you quickly see the equipment lined up like shiny new toys. Scooter is very well knowledge and super helpful. Tired on some fins and wetsuits, great selection. Highly recommend the dive shop. Excellent experience!

I recently got my open water scuba certification with Undersea Adventures and have nothing but wonderful things to say about Shirley and Scooter who own and run the shop. From the first time we called and inquired about the program to it’s completion, Shirley was the epitome of patience with all of our questions and hesitations. She is an excellent teacher, and by the time we went for our check out dives, we both felt immensely comfortable with the entire process.
First, I had a little bit of a difficult time finding a dive shop ITP. As I did not want to treck all the way to the burbs for class. But then I found Undersea Adventures, and then found out we had a couple friends get certified by Scooter a few years ago and recommend it, and we were sold!
This is a Naui program, not a Padi program, so it’s a bit more time intensive (and IMO thorough) and I appreciated the extra attention they spent on safety. I also enjoyed the small class size, our class was just 5 people, so we all got a lot of individual attention, which I think is important when learning to do a high risk sport. There’s a reason your insurance asks you if you scuba or not.
I highly recommend S&S Undersea Adventures for anyone needing scuba or snorkeling gear, or anyone interested in getting certified, or just refreshing their skills. This is not a slam/​bam thank you mam place that is all about volume of students. If you want to get personal attention when learning to scuba or snorkel, I highly recommend Undersea Adventures! My husband and I plan on getting our Nitrox and our Advanced Open Water certifications here as well.
