I got a 2 taco combo with one shrimp and one fish. They were both really good, but the fish was phenomenal. The only thing that held back the 5th star was the salsa that came with the chips. It was bland, and didn’t taste like much more than crushed tomatoes. Definitely a let down after biting into the fantastic tacos!

Have eaten here before and probably won’t again. The first time I ordered the Vegan Mercado taco, it was filled with veggies, fresh and tasty. The last couple of times, it is filled with rice and beans and corn. Not what it was in the beginning. And when there is one person taking orders, that person should be genuinely friendly! The woman taking orders spoke so softly, I had to ask twice to repeat herself. Then when my husband asked for an extra salsa, she gave him a look like he was asking for the moon. One of my husbands beef tacos had very little beef and one had a lot of beef, which he didn’t like the seasoning anyway. We go thru Atlanta airport a lot. We’ll choose another place to eat.

I guess I got lucky — My experience here was excellent… Just finished eating the Vegan Mercado taco. Alexis took my order. She was really friendly! The food came out quickly. So. It’s clearly not completely made to order… But, whatever. I want expecting it to be, nor do I care… I’m at an airport. I imagine they have some veggie mix and sauce and rice and just mix it together and grill it up in the tortilla. The taco was a good size, considering it was listed as a street taco. The filling exceeded my expectations. It had nice spice to it… Came back later with a friend and just got beans and rice… Wasn’t good at all… Mercado Taco is just a magical successful amalgamation of some ‘whatever’ ingredients… But successful, nonetheless. The cooks were really nice and bubbly as well. All of the people working here just had such a good attitude. Based on this experience, I definitely plan to come back here. Concourse F itself is nice. Serene compared to most other parts of this airport.

Disgusting. Paid $ 14 for water, tortilla soup and a chicken taco. Taco was horrible and I’m almost positive it wasn’t the crispy chicken I ordered. The soup was so salty I couldn’t even eat it. And it said it came with avocado and it definitely didn’t. Would never go back and I fly from ATL airport all the time. I’m sticking with what I know from this point on. Terrible quality, lesson learned!

Extremely terrible experience. Order vegan tacos that had several good ingredients but got a quick poor service with just plain white rice in the tacos extremely disappointed. Tried to reach to customer service and it was automated response very disappointed never eating there again. Menu is deceiving and customer service is extremely poor. I wish I could give 0 stars.

At the ATL airport and just had a great food court lunch. Excellent shrimp and carnitas tacos, and the churros were crisp, warm, and far more delicious than you find on the nyc subway platforms. The service was very pleasant too. If in terminal f, I highly recommend!

I am spoiled by living in Houston with the awesome tacos that are available. This place cannot even compare to the taco places we have here. Steer clear of El Taco, unless you want some weird Italian food tasting«taco.» Oh, and if I thought the taco was bad, I was even more grossed out by the rice and beans which cannot even be compared to Mexican food. I would rather eat anywhere else than at this place again. The only plus side was that the staff is very friendly and the service is quick.

Not the best, but certainly not the worst. $ 9.99 combo — 2 tacos plus chips and salsa. I ordered 1 shrimp + 1 vegan taco, which certainly weren’t the best, but didn’t leave me feeling like a beached whale. Service was fast enough, but don’t expect too much more than a smile. Presumably most people know at this point that Concourse F is a tranquil escape from the normal airport happenings. Plenty of natural light and more modern furniture. I wouldn’t hesitate heading to the end of the line on the train on a future trip, but I do appreciate the player piano in E, so the burrito place there often times wins out.

What a great place to wait on your food which will arrive greasy or oily in a plastic bag. Conveniently located by a gelato station that gives free samples, el taco gives customers a lot of time to mingle with other travelers who anxiously look at their watches trying to judge whether it’s a better alternative to wait for the food or god forbid request a refund for a meal that may never come. While each us politely cheers those whose names get called and whose food is ready it is in the eyes of the others, wishing it was them. Avoid

Have to agree with overall rating of 3. Nothing to write home about. Miss the Moes here with the white queso. Cashier was nice but food average at best. Refused to go to the Longhorns across the way. Varsity is great when you have a hot dog once a year.

My experience was outstanding. The customer service really impressed me as the woman who assisted me was friendly, informative, and truly brightened my day. I had the vegan taco. It is on-point. For my vegan and vegetarian friends out there, this is a good spot to get a delicious snack or meal.

Let’s get this out of the way: I live in California, so no Mexican food can touch what we have, especially around San Diego and San Francisco(for different reasons, different but both delicious). Even discounting for the«airport food factor» this place is just terrible. What kind of heathen would use flour tortillas for fish tacos? I got the shrimp taco(awful) and the red chile steak taco that was fucking unedible. The only partial consolation, a minuscule tub of very good salsa that came with a giant bag of chips. Thanks for nothing, and now I know where not to eat when I’m passing through the Atlanta airport.

RUDE. I don’t care how good the food is when it comes up. It can’t be good enough to offset the rude service we received. Nothing more needs to be said.

Not that good. Fajita taco was terrible. The spicy found beef taco wasn’t too bad. People are great though. The counter lady was so friendly. Explained the food to a customer who didn’t know what pico was :) The other guy was also really nice. So two stars for food. Plus one for people. This matters when you are traveling. Stress… And nice people at a fast food place is a pleasant surprise.

Small servings, expensive, SLOW, and the sweet tea of Mexican. If you think Pizza Hut is great pizza then this is your kind of Mexican food. It had tacos and Mexican fare but it is FAR from good authentic Mexican food. Everything is way too sweet, steak had a sugary flavor, chicken was like the bourbon chicken you get at the Chinese stall at the mall food court and with the added sugar from the pineapple salsa was more like a dessert. Ugh! The tomato salsa was not bad but also seemed sweetened, and I swear they put some sugar on their chips. Even if the food had been okay the service was like watching a bunch of clowns. This is an airport walk away place so 20 minutes is WAY to long to wait for this horrible food. People were asking for their money back because their flights were boarding and a bunch of people just walked away and abandoned their order. The order staff yelled at the cooks and the cooks yelled at the order staff and the crowd of captive patrons stared at each other with a combination of horror, frustration, amusement, and bewilderment. Ok. So you are stuck in the F terminal and can’t decide what to eat from the local Atlanta eateries on display. It is either Sunday or you don’t have time to go back to the C terminal to get Chick Fil A. The choices here are diverse, but nothing really has loads of appeal. The Varsity is a greasy delight, but could be a tough call before a long flight. Ditto Chinese. Ecco can be an expensive proposition. Nothing is recognizable to those unfamiliar with Atlanta. The tacos here are very good. Some are better than others. Some are spicier than others. All of them taste better than anything you would get at a standard taco place. The shrimp and fried chicken varietals are very good. Service is a bit slow(expect to wait 5 minutes or so) and is in no way all that great. However, the food is good and extra hot sauce is available for those who want to tempt fate before a long flight.

Small tacos in the food court of the new Terminal F at Atlanta spaceport. I got their special, which includes your choice of two. I went with one«fried chicken» that was a chicken tender and one«fried fish» that was so close to being a fish finger but was still pretty good. They are very generous with the chips that serve as a great filler. Not as generous with the single container of salsa.

Not bad for airport food… which translates to a $ 13.00 lunch. I went with the Chicken Quesadilla Combo. Most combo’s include a drink, not here, plan on another $ 2.50 for your carbonated beverage. The Quesadilla was OK, a bit gooey which required eating with a fork. thankfully they provided one. The chips and salsa was at least easier to eat than the Quesadilla. Caution ordering this if you don’t have a chair and table, more than likely you’ll end up dropping some on your lap.

This is a review of the location in concourse C. I almost want to go back to ATL just to eat here! This made my layover much more enjoyable. I had the buttermilk fried chicken taco(I wish I would have asked for extra corn) and a nacho plate. The staff was friendly and fast, even commenting on my green shirt for St Patrick’s Day. I will go back here.

The service at this location was warm and friendly and by all appearances, the place was really clean. I keep trying to find a fish taco that comes close to Nick’s Crispy Pescado on Polk Street. I am diligent about this quest. The fish taco at El Taco was more or less a fish stick with some sort of mayo sauce and I think pine nuts? The weirdly spartan nature of this food item was not to my liking.
