Great casual Mexican. A good switch up from all the«high end» taco joints in Atl. You don’t have to pay for salsa!

Tacos and Tequila is one of my favorite restaurants in town– so much so, I asked them to cater my wedding in May. Marian is the catering director and is an angel on earth. She was amazing throughout the planning process, always easy to reach, and full of ideas to make the day run smoothly. Marian and her staff were BRILLIANT and the food was amazing(as usual). My husband and I still get compliments on both the food and service 8 months later. They are truly amazing!

Let’s start this off really good. The bar staff is probably the best from most of the places I have been in Atlanta. The food is great here as well. Try the smoked chicken enchiladas, with green salsa verde.

Atmosphere is great, bar tender was awesome! Went on Monday and they had specials on margaritas and fajitas, both were delicious. Will definitely be back!

This place is located inside a shopping center. The food and service wasn’t bad. Only issue I had was that they sat us in an area that was like a patio and it was freezing cold. I didn’t want to make a fuse so I just didn’t say anything. I just wish they would have given us the option to sit inside or on the patio before just seating us.

I came here with a couple of people after church on Sunday and didn’t have to wait for a table. The menu had a lot of variety and had pictures which was great. I ordered a seafood soup as my meal and it was delicious. There was a good amount of seafood in the soup and had great flavors. Service was decent and we were in and out quickly.

Came in on a Tuesday lunch after looking for good restaurants on Unilocal.Excellent service. I had the brisket fajitas. The amount of food for price is excellent. Great flavor of food. The margaritas were in point. The manager came over to talk to us after our meal to follow up. Excellent customer service.

Great Brisket! Great service. I live in Macon but this is going to be one of my go to spots when I visit Atlanta! Real Mexican Food. Try the Ginger Margarita! Good Stuff.

Been here a few times over the last few months and this place has entered my Tex-mex rotation from now on. First off, the service is tremendous. I can’t remember getting this level of service at any restaurant in Atlanta, leave alone tex-mex. The food from start to finish has been very good each time. The guac seems to always be fresh and not overly salty. The enchiladas, seafood, and steak fajitas have always been great. Overall, I’ll be returning and this place easily trumps la parilla or Los bravos.

Pass me some macaras and a sombrero, I think I found a new spot to get my Mexican on! Wait, was that racist? :/Sorry. Anywhoooo… if this review is slightly off-kilter it’s cause I drank my weight in margaritas and I’m also drunk on queso. Of course I found Tacos and Tequilas through Unilocal so I’m not so surprised that I loved it so much. The restaurant is very spacious with beautiful artwork on the walls and some flat screens playing the latest sports channels if you’re into that kinda thing. We ordered an appetizer of guac, which tasted pretty standard but we also ordered queso that was the BOMB, I literally wanted to DIVE into it! It took us a LONG time to choose our entrees because their menu is extensive, almost TOO many options. We finally settled on the Poblano pepper with steak and the Chimi-rica. I’m a little addicted to chimichangas and I almost ordered one but the chimi-ricas intrigued me so I asked the waitress the difference between the two. She said that the chimi-ricas had rice and beans on the INSIDE. That’s why I was confused when my chimi-rica came out with the rice and beans on the SIDE just like a chimichanga… hmm… Did she not know what she was talking about or was she«punking» me or what? I thought the portions sizes were a bit small… or at least smaller than I’m used to from most Mexican restaurants but it was an adequate portion for sure. Dessert was my favorite part of dinner, hands down! We ordered the chocolate chimichanga which is a slightly crispy tortilla topped with cinnamon and sugar and chocolate sauce and icecream inside… SO good! Thanks T&T for a delicious dinner, I’ll be back.

Parking: Located in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. Atmosphere: Lively with live music. There’s a bar and TVs around. Service: The staff was very nice. Our waiter did seem to have a hard time hearing what we wanted(perhaps due to the music). Food: The food is subpar. Most of the food seems bland and does not seem worthy of a four star rated restaurant. We ordered the corn roasted guacamole which seemed very bland; we were unable to finish the guac since it lacked flavor compared to the free salsa. I had two beef tacos with an enchilada combo. The food was not bad but it’s not something I would go back for. The only plus side about the food was my sister’s shrimp salad had about 10 shrimps when at other places they give very little seafood. Drinks: I had a peach mojito and this was probably my favorite item that I ordered that night. It was quite good and if you like sweet drinks you’ll like this more than the regular mojito. This place seems very popular, however, we have definitely experienced restaurants with a similar atmosphere but with better food Delete review

Sometimes you just crave authentic Mexican food. And No, I’m not talking about Tin Lizzys(nothing against them, I like that place), Chipotle, or Willys. Sometimes you just want to sit down stuff your face with endless chips and delicious salsa not knowing you just gained 10 lbs and developed diabetes in the process. If so, this is a pretty solid place for multiple reasons. First off, it’s hard to see off the road when your driving on Rosewell Rd(both going into and out of Buckhead). If you know where the Publix Shopping Center is closest to Post Chastain, it’s in there. Just turn in and you’ll see it on the left. The staff are very friendly and it appeared they’re well staffed. The service is very fast. It took a while when we first got seated but after that… no issues. I noticed something. there is one server who’s sole job(from what I observed) is to make sure everyone has enough chips and salsa. SUPERB! Seriously. I like to snack on chips before, during, and after my entrée. No shame. The menu is pretty extensive with all kinds of combination plates, salads, vegetarian options, skillets, or create your own combo. I’m positive you’ll find something here if you like Mexican food. I got the brisket tacos plate and it was delicious! Compared to Mi Cocina located in Midtown, this place wins easily. The brisket tacos there are great. But here, they load your plate with 3 tacos that are well stuffed with brisket. They don’t skimp you on meat. Plus it’s 3 tacos vs. 2, which is the standard of some sort at most places I’ve been to. The plate comes with beans, rice, and salad, which is typical of most Mexican restaurants. It’s located in a pretty easily accessible area. Fast, friendly service. A wide variety of options on its menu. Not expensive. A chip and salsa person. No question about coming back here. Also, this place accommodates pretty easily for large groups. I saw two large parties on the patio area and the staff were tag teaming those tables.

After tennis practice, my team frequents Tacos & Tequilas for drinks and dinner. Each time we have a group of at least 6 and we are usually seated within minutes. The servers are quick and efficient. Their menu is the typical Americanized Mexican food. Its not too expensive and pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but good. They have a variety of drinks to choose from. We normally get a pitcher or two of the skinny margaritas. They are a good combination of tasty and strong. Their cheese dip comes in an enormous bowl, so it is definitely enough to share! Their salsa is tasty and tastes fresh and the chips are plentiful.

«I’m getting rid of your exit strategy. You’ll be fine. I’ll be back in time for fajitas.» — Heroes: Season 1, Episode 14 What a great little spot tucked away in Buckhead — no idea this was here until Panida S brought me for a leisurely dinner on a crazy busy Thursday night. Clearly I was the only person who didn’t know this place existed. First of all — as crazy bust as the place was, my drinks were always filled and the server kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Panida and I were chatting the whole time, so they made sure not to interrupt us talking, but still made sure we were taken care of. Overall the food was pretty good. I opted for the Steak fajitas — pretty typical serving, but with a ton of steak. A precious plenty of meat, I might say. The veggies were good and caramelized and I had plenty of tortillas to eat my food and get full. Since I ate so much food, we opted for mini desserts to share — the mini brownie and the mini flan. Both were excellent and just the right sweet bites. The price was right — a nice dinner for under $ 20 in Buckhead is unheard of — so that was a treat. Great service, easy parking, inexpensive and delicious. A winner in my book.

I’ve heard good and bad things about T&T, but I wanted to see so myself on a Thursday night after work. I’ve got to say, my friends and I really enjoyed our experience. There are two T&T locations — one in midtown and one in Buckhead. This T&T was located in a shopping center so there was plenty of parking. When you walk in, you are greeted with two host at the host stand. There is additional seating attached to the restaurant that I’m sure they open the«tent» during summer. Luckily for us, we were seated in the heated tent with two to four televisions. Surprisingly, there was much more space in the tent than in the restaurant. FOOD: When your table is settled in their table, you are immediately served chips and salsa and it’s unlimited. We also ordered guacamole dip(regular) to share which is three small scoops of guacamole. What we ordered: — T&T Tacos: a selection of four tacos: steak, chicken, shrimp, and brisket. The only thing that is served inside the taco is ONE slice of avocado in each taco. It comes with three sauces: mexi-mango dip that was pretty good by itself, cilantro sauce, and salsa verde. The next time I order this, I would add more toppings for a surcharge. I thought it was too bland and it needed cheese or lettuce. I did end up having two tacos for lunch the next day. I thought this dish was okay, but I would probably consider other options than ordering this. — Three Amigos Tacos: a selection of three tacos filled with your choice of grilled steak, shrimp, and chicken. I would say this is the another version of the T&T Tacos(above) except for that extra fourth taco like the T&T Tacos, you get either rice or beans with the Three Amigos. The Three Amigos Tacos are topped with grilled onions and peppers. I would say this has more flavors than the T&T tacos. The protein is also larger in size and amount in these tacos. This entrée is served with salsa verde and cilantro sauce. My boyfriend ordered this and he looked like he enjoyed it. — My other friends ordered the Fish Tacos and Enchiladas Supremas and their entrees looked good. They were pleased with their orders. — Drinks: we ordered a pitcher of what our server suggested — the Skinny Margarita. He also said that there’s a special of $ 5 off on Thursday. The drink was good. I only wished it was stronger and that there was less ice as they put A LOT of it in the pitcher. Overall, I would dine here again. I want to try that midtown location as well. Service was great! My rating is 3.5 rounded to a 4 as my food was okay. The service and the drinks were what saved the review.

The boyfriend and I were intrigued by their $ 9.99 fajitas on Mondays so we decided to stop by and check this place out. It’s in a fairly easy to find and park shopping center and there wasn’t any wait to sit. I ordered a large strawberry margarita to start off and it was pretty good while the chips were what I had been craving for the past few days. The waitress was nice enough to bring out more chips and salsa when we had ravenously demolished the previous batch. The $ 9.99 fajitas deal extends too all types of meat and you can mix and match(shrimp + steak, chicken + steak, etc). We both got the shrimp and steak. The waitress may ask if you would like to add cheese or mushrooms so we added mushrooms which turned out to be a $ 1.50 upcharge per fajita plate which I kind of had an inkling of. The fajitas themselves are like every other fajita I’ve had(so, relatively unremarkable) except that the steak meat is very tender and they use nice shrimp. In all, it is a pretty good deal and since there’s no wait, it’ll take you less than an hour to eat and leave which is good for saving time on a busy weekday! Verdict — The fajita deal is pretty good so I mean, why not right?

Bullet-point review time! The Good: — The drinks– The drinks were FANTASTIC! Their frozen sangriarita was probably one of the best I’ve had. A really good ratio of alcohol to sweet deliciousness. Others in my party also only had good things to say of theirs. — The service– attentive, patient and very sweet. I know a party of 12 can be very daunting, but our waitress was wonderful– quick to take our order, fill up our cups(and chips!), and checked in regularly enough that we wanted for nothing. — The atmosphere– I was not expecting the décor to be up to the standard that I walked in to. It was very classy Mexican décor, reminiscent of more upscale dining locations. The«Okay»: — The food– I hate to say it, but the food was really just«okay” — for the price, I would’ve expected more. — The portions– Maybe I’m spoiled by my usual Mexican Food haunts, but when I go out for Mexican food, I expect plates the size of Jupiter and full– I KNOW, I KNOW, this is the glutton in me, but I love that I can get my fill, and then have lunch for two days. Here, that is not the case. The Bad: — The Music– there was supposed to be live music, but instead, there was just a DJ playing a strange selection of pop songs. So out of place in this restaurant. — The Restrooms(bear with me!) — The building code exists for a reason– One SHOULD not hit their knees on the restroom stall door when they sit down to do their business. Horrible horrible. You do not need to have four, impossibly tiny stalls– take out two and make it accessible to humans.
