Dr. Warstadt is great… I’ve been a patient of his for a number of years. Don’t be put off by his location inside a Lenscrafters — he is a very knowledgeable and experienced optometrist! His office always invests in the latest technology(yay, NO dilating eyedrops EVER). He is patient, thorough, and kind. I have a lot of retinal issues in my family, so I always opt for the retina photography, and we review the new images versus last year’s. Dr. Warstadt has also done some great work treating patients in Central America — lots of photos on the walls illustrating his travels there. The office staff is professional and friendly.

Had an appt on a Friday waited over an hour to see Dr. Warstadt but was so worth the wait. You would think being the last patient of the day we would’ve been rushed but totally not. Dr. Warstadt took his time with my son and explain everything in detail to me. We picked out frames & was helped by NeMe who was very polite. The manager(can’t recall her name blonde lady) came over & asked how everything was. We went back the following day(Saturday) to pick up my sons glasses only to find out his lense had to be special ordered Bomber!!! Overall, great experience. Would highly recommend Dr. Warstadt to anyone. Oh there was one girl in the back office where you register who was talking about personal things that could be heard amongst everyone. That was my only complaint! Will be back!

I started going to Dr. Warstadt in 1991 after being told by two other optometrists and one opthamologist that there was no way I could wear contacts. Steven worked and worked with me until he found the solution and the lenses that worked. He is always on the cutting edge of technology and doesn’t waste your time or money. I love this office –you can’t find a better eye dr.

Quick and professional. I expected to spend my entire morning there, but was in and out in less than an hour. Thanks Dr. Phung and the entire office staff.

Dr. Warstadt is amazing… I saw him on an emergency basis yesterday(they fit me in on a Sat. at 4:00 p.m.!) and he found my retina was torn. He immediately set me up with a retina specialist in ANHOUR(!) and the retina specialist from Georgia Retina repaired 3 tears on my retina with a laser(on a Sat. nite at 6:00 p.m.!), no pain at all. Dr, Warstadt’s staff was very caring and helpful… I had excellent care all the way around. Then Dr. Warstadt called me on a Sun. morning to find out how it all went! Cannot recommend him highly enough… so happy to know about this degree of caring and professionalism is available.

Okay here’s a dirty little secret: Until this week, I hadn’t visited an eye doctor since I was in high school. I am now 31 years old, people. It was way past time for me to see someone(heh) about getting some glasses, but I was scared! Doctors are mean and they give you bad news and you can’t GET bad news if you don’t go, right? Except I kept getting jealous of everyone’s cool glasses, and I can’t be lame and wear the kind with fake lenses so I guess I only had one option. I booked an appointment at LensCrafters at Northlake Mall and kept telling myself, «one day you’ll look wicked smaht in your new glasses!» Appointment time rolled around and I showed up and was scared. The gals at the desk were nice and set me up with some paperwork. They asked if I had vision insurance, which I don’t. They also asked for my regular insurance card, and ended up getting me a huge discount! The eye exam is normally $ 85 but it was only $ 42 with my discount. Pretty schweet! Dr Healey was super nice, and he’s also pretty dreamy so that was nice.(Wait I haven’t gotten my glasses yet, so maybe he’s not. Hmmm…) The exam didn’t take long, and could have been shorter had I opted out of getting my eyes dilated and chosen the eye scan or whatever the hell futuristic thing you can do now. Skipping the dilation is $ 30 more, but next time I’ll pay it because dilation wasn’t that cool. It was like being on drugs but without the fun parts. No thanks! I got a prescription and took a look around their frame selection but wasn’t impressed. All they had is Coach, DKNY, and Prada from the looks of it. Sorry y’all, but I can’t do a $ 300 pair of glasses. I ordered online when I got home from another company, but my prescription from Dr Healey was surprisingly easy to decipher. If you need a new prescription or are worried your eyes have changed or gotten worse over the years, definitely visit Dr Warstadt and associates. I was surprised at how easy and non-threatening the whole process was.
