Today is the day that marks the first day of Spring for 2013. Because of that, one of my awesome friends thought an event that brought together an awesome group of people to ring it in style. The event started at 6:30, but of course ATL traffic added an extra 30 minutes to my transit time. The backdrop was at a park in Virginia Highlands, sunny, and a beautiful 60 degrees out. As I approached, it looked like the fun already ensued. What kind of fun? Where adults can act like kids and have an awesome time doing it. Water guns, powdered paint, hell, I even saw silly string! They all literally painted eachother. Consider it an awesome way to celebrate spring fever! The pastel colors were very fitting. Hell, Charlie B. was even nice enough to paint me green(I looked like the Unjolly Green Giant!)! I know that Vanessa T. put a lot of time and thought into this event, and it paid off well! Awesome job putting it all together! I wished that my false hopes of paint grenades and water balloons could have been a reality, but unfortunately time was not on my side today. Cleanup was a breeze, and environmentally friendly. Even the kids and dogs looked like they were having an awesome time! Cheers again, Vanessa, that was pretty awesome of you– I might have to fly down next year for the next event!
