Our experience at Southwest Paint could not have been any better.
After deliberating for a few weeks over the brochures and swatches that Tom Jr. gave us to review, the wife and I began to buy sample pints to test on the walls before going all in and buying 12 gallons of paint. Throughout this whole process, Tom Jr. and Tom Sr. did everything in their power to provide us with the best service possible. Here are just a few examples:
* When my wife picked up samples, Tom Jr. ran the cans out to my her car as soon as he saw her pull into the lot so she didn’t have to get our twin toddlers out of their carseats – and even offered to process her credit card inside and return it, which he did. No one asked him to do this, and we’ve never been treated this way by any company. (Wow!)
* When I brought my son into the store, they treated him generously, allowed him to play with some books about trucks, and opened up their restroom to us so I could change his diaper – and even gave me a plastic bag so I could dispose of it cleanly. Again, no one asked for any of this; they just freely offered it.
* They gladly took orders over the phone and always had our paint ready to go within the hour.
* And most importantly, they just know everything. The colors were hard enough for us, and we certainly had no idea which type of paint or finish we wanted. But thanks to Tom Jr.‘s advice, we got the best possible paint we could have in our budget – the Ultra Spec 500, which is just a step below the top-​shelf Aura but about 40% cheaper. Tom Jr. talked us through every variety, thoroughly explained the features of every strain, and made his case for what he thought would work best for us. We went with that advice, and it’s worked out splendidly.

Bought 2 quarts of Benjamin Moore paint for a cabinet I’m repainting from black to a light blue. Thomas Sr and son, Thomas Jr. were so attentive and helpful. They have a thorough knowledge of which paint will work best for whatever you need to paint. The store is neat as a pin and fully stocked with samples of the rainbow of colors Benjamin Moore offers. And when I finished paying, Thomas Sr. even carried my paint out to the car for me and opened my door. SO nice to find a gentleman businessman in this Walmart age. Definitely recommend this store above the one I used to visit in Buckhead where you had to pay to park and no one was ever available to chat about what I needed for my project. Thank you Thomas Sr and Jr for a wonderful shopping experience.
