Smoothie King

So this is a nice alternative to other breakfast options, yes there’s a Starbucks in the same strip mall but this is healthier and they open up early. The staff is always friendly and helpful and never want to rush you with your order. Convenient location to 400, shopping and dining options.

My favorite smoothie king by far! They always get my order right. Price is decent and they are always super fast getting everyone’s order done. My favorite is the medium lean one, make it skinny add diet down and fiber. Strawberry flavored. Yummmy!

I was in town from NYC vising a friend in Atlanta this past weekend. Yesterday afternoon the temperatures were sweltering, so we decided to seek out something to cool off and we ended up at Smoothie King at Piedmont Peachtree Crossing. I have never been to a Smoothie King establishment, so I was not familiar with their menu items. As I perused the menus that were listed in the store, I found a fruit and vegetable combo smoothie that appealed to me. (The Apple Kiwi Kale). However, when reviewing the two posted menus which featured a description of this smoothie, one had strawberries listed in the ingredients and other one did not. I then proceeded to place my order with the clerk and pointed out to her the discrepancy with the two menus and I informed her that I wanted my smoothie prepared with strawberries, (the way that it was listed on the first menu on the far left of the register). The clerk then proceeded to ask her manager (a young woman named Bayza) if the item came with or without strawberries. When Bayza informed her that the smoothie did not include strawberries, the clerk then proceeded to point out the menu discrepancies to her manager and informed her that the item was indeed listed with strawberries on one of the posted menus. Bayza then proceeded to inform both of us that there was error on the menu and that she was going to have to take that error down at some point. However, if I wanted strawberries in my smoothie then she would have to charge me extra. At that point, I politely informed Bayza that while I understood that it was an error on their part to have it listed that way on the menu, I still wanted the item with the strawberries and that I did not feel that I should have to pay extra for it as it was THEIR error to describe and advertise it listing that ingredient. At this point, the manager (Bayza,) dismissively addressed me and stated, «We apologize for the error and we will fix it, but you still have to pay extra for the strawberries.» I again, explained to her my position and my friend also chimed in and informed Bayza that because the item was advertised and listed that way and it was their error, I should not have to pay extra. The manager then continued to address us in a dismissive manner and again stated, «Yeah, but you are still going to have to pay extra. Do you want the smoothie or not?» At that point, I informed her that I no longer wanted the item or anything else that they had to offer and I left.
I have never had an experience like this in a franchise establishment of this nature. The manager’s dismissive and rude tone was unbelievable. Especially in light of the fact that THEY were the ones who made an error with the menu. To expect me to have to pay extra for their error was just plain wrong! While I cannot speak on the quality of the products at this particular location of Smoothie King, I can say that their customer service is horrible! My advice to you is to do yourself a favor and do what I did. If you want a good smoothie and great customer service then head about a half mile down the road to Planet Smoothie (located at 2900 Peachtree Rd). Not only are their smoothies amazing but their customer service was superb!
For me Smoothie King gets a one star rating and the one star was ONLY because the location is conveniently located in the Buckhead area in a strip mall that has plenty of parking.

I really like Smoothie King but this location is not the best. Service is mediocre, and there is one particular associate who is not friendly. I go to several locations and never have a problem, but there is always «something» at this one. Will stick to other locations.

I like Smoothie King’s smoothies but they are all made from a mix, no fresh fruit or vegetables. I prefer Planet Smoothie but there are far more Smoothie Kings in the area and convenience is important.

Great smoothie joint. I recommend you get one of the new veggie options with kale.
Also you can opt for no turbinado or turbine or something (it’s the sugar they add to the shakes to make them taste amazing and sweet).
Favorite flavors include:
Light and Fluffy– the favorite. banana strawberries and OJ
Caribbean Way– bananas, strawberries, papaya and OJ
Tropical Island-​a bit on the sweet side
Blueberry Heaven-​surprisingly tart, blueberry juice and bananas
They aren’t terribly unreasonable for a smoothie and you can add things like Probiotic, Immunity Boost, Joint and Bone health, and Energy or Caffine boosters. All for 99 cents.
Conveniently located in the shopping center on the left just past Piedmont and Peachtree.
Don’t go during rush hour because the parking spots are extremely hard to come by at peak hours! Next to Chase bank!
Worth a check out!

This is a great smoothie king! It’s located in a Kroger shopping center right across from the Starbucks near Buckhead.
I called on my way to make sure they weren’t closed and the young lady was very friendly and professional. When I got to the location the store was very clear and the same young lady gave me the best customer service.
Try their chocolate protein smoothie!

This place needs better employees who work a little faster when making the smoothies. I spent literally my whole lunch hour there waiting. And on top of that, they weren’t that pleasant…

Staff was super friendly, and the place was clean. I get the Planet Pro Light post workout because they are made with yogurt, protein, and fruit. Simple and effective.

I drove well out of the way to visit this Smoothie King location because it is the best! The staff are happy and welcoming, the store is clean & the SMOOTHIES are yummy good!!!

I come into this Smoothie King a lot, the people are always nice and the smoothies are on point. I’m writing this review so the owner will get a clue and take action. For the last 3 weeks this place has smelled like ROTTEN MILK. like smack you in the face as soon as you walk in the door stanking rotten milk. Maybe someone spilled something behind a freezer, maybe something died, I don’t know — But clean it up! The second thing is today they were out of bananas. Hey I understand restaurants run out of ingredients — BUT BANANAS ARE IN MOST SMOOTHIES — and more importantly there is a KROGER NEXT DOOR. Bananas are the cheapest thing in the produce section.
I love smoothies and yall can do better.

I am completely disgusted!!! I just purchased a Banana Bread from the Smoothie King store at 3330 Piedmont Rd. Suite 27 Atlanta, GA 30 305. A bite tasted funny so, I spit it out immediately after realizing the bread had expired 2 MONTHS PRIOR! I was disgusted to the seen the GREEN, MOLDED mess that came out of my mouth! I have probably purchased 100 smoothies over the last few years since this store is across the street from my house and another store is a few blocks from my office. NEVER AGAIN could I imagine walking inside your store. I have dealt with the over «ripe» bananas to point of being spoiled in the past but, this is inexcusable!

I was starving yesterday. I needed something to eat quickly after I left the Alteration. I looked across the parking lot and there she was– Smoothie King!
I definitely went inside. A little smaller than the one at Piedmont/​Monroe, but just as good. Some of the selections on the menu looked a little different, so I got a King Sized Hulk-​Vanilla. Came out quickly and tasted wonderful. Staff very friendly too. I will start coming back for more!

Get the Chocolate Shredder and add PB… OMG…
Like most other Smoothie Kings though, there’s usually one person working so don’t expect to get lightening speed service. This place is essential when I’m looking to squeeze in a quick meal replacement.
