Sakana is my go to sushi spot in the neighborhood. The sushi is delicious, the staff is always friendly and accommodating and the price is very reasonable.

This place is way over price for lunch and food wasn’t the best. I waited for 15min for my good and by the time my food my friend finished his sushi. I didn’t like that!!! I wouldn’t come back here to eat again. Not worth paying $ 20 for something you don’t like to eat. If you come here lunch time, there’s no parking, you might have to park right across form the street and walk over.

Service was great but quality of food was not priced appropriately. Came here for a quick bite to eat and left very disappointed. While the wait staff were lovely the sushi was sub-par and overpriced. The sashimi smelled very fishy this indicated that it was not as fresh as it should have been. My friend ordered a cooked dish and said it was OK. My recommendation is to stick to the cooked dishes and avoid anything raw.

If I could give this place a negative star I would. The menu is WAY over priced for the items on there and the selection outside sushi is minimal. I ordered a spicy hibachi dish that was not even cooked in front of me. They cooked it in the back and brought it to me. The salad was good but the soup was extremely disappointing. It tasted like watered down chicken broth from a can. My spicy chicken dish was very tasteless. My veggies were still raw along with the potatoes. The sauce on the chicken was disgusting. And the chicken was VERY bland. I informed our server of this and she chose to insult and roll her eyes at me when I politely asked to choose another dish on the menu. She brought the menu back and rolled her eyes again. My bf quietly finished his pad Thai which was sub par and we left. I did not want to order anything else after the waitresses rude behavior when I said I was not pleased with my meal. Stay away from this place unless you like rude service and overpriced bland food.

First of this is place is over priced. Visited with my family of(4) the menu was restricted because we had a groupon for 4. And it’s advertised habachi style cooking infront of you. The meal came with a soup that tasted like they just dip the chicken in the warm water no flavor at all. furthermore we didnt order any special beverage but water and the bill came up to be over $$$ on top of that they include automatically add to the bill a 15% gratitude just for using grupons. Very bad experience..
