Rocky’s Instant Shoe Repair

If I could give ½ a star I would. Please under no circumstances should anyone patronize this business. They not only stole my money, but the did not complete the work I was promised. The location was close to work, so I thought I would give them a try. Do yourself a favor and do not make the same mistake I did.

Initially, I was impressed and used this repair facility quite a bit but then I left two pairs of my favorite shoes and have decided, after more than a year, that he can have them. I went to pick up my shoes so many times I just gave up. I was given so many stories, i.e., «I had to order the heels.» «I had to re-​order the heels.» «They will be ready the next time you come.» blah, blah, blah. After about six months, all I wanted was my shoes b/​c I had decided I’d take them elsewhere but he could not produce the shoes… he was «working on them.» I was so VERY disappointed and upset at my final visit, that I haven’t returned because my temper had boiled to a point that I wanted to throttle him. I wanted my shoes… but, sadly, they are lost forever. (sniff, sniff)

Very unprofessional workers at this «Shoe Repair» I was not satisfied with my clothing and shoe «Repair». I was not at all happy at their Lack of communication or the way they reacted to me not being satisfied with my ending results. My belongings took a substantial amount of time to be finished, when I was advised they would be ready a week from that day. I went the following week from when I dropped my things off and told my things were ready to that have all been false information. My belongings then had to stay an additional week to have the actual repairs repaired this time. I Was told I would get a call back when my repairs where finished and I found myself having to call to check to see if my things were ready and received such unprofessional responses. I am deeply upset about my things. My shoes did not look any different from what I brought them in looking like. If my things couldn’t be fixed I am not sure why they gave me the run around as if they could have been. They took my money as if their work was outstanding and well done. When it was the complete opposite. I will never ever do business with this so called «Shoe Repair» ever again, and I highly advise you all to not as well. Being that I now have to find an actual shoe repair to now fix the damage that they have caused to my property.

Left my shoes there last week, came back on Tuesday to pick them up & they were not ready & looked half done. They offered to redo them & I could pick them up on Wed. So I said no problem. I went to pick them up yesterday & they looked worse than what I dropped them off. Scraps & scratches that weren’t there before was now there. Looked as if Simone tried to fill it in with a sharpie. I voiced my concerns to the lady at the counter so told me to put clear nail polish on it. Now if that was the case I would have NEVER paid them $ 78 to replace 4 pair of shoes heel taps & 2 soles. My shoes look a hot mess & she only offered to do another pair 4 the 3^rd time. Really? Now I’ve lost my money & have to find somewhere else to get my shoes fixed.
Sad part was she gave them back to me as if they had did a job well done. Will never go back.

Great repair facility for your leather goods. I had an old pair of motorcycle chaps that had been in long term storage. Rocky got them cleaned up, conditioned the leather — just like new. Reasonable prices/​quality work. just can’t beat it.
