Stopped by for a nightcap and my bartender Caroline was the best bartender I have encountered! Extremely attentive and extremely engaging. She is the reason why I stayed for a few more drinks before heading home. Definitely stopping by to see Caroline again. She has a permanent customer with me! Thank you Caroline!

I had a bad experience here twice now and will not be coming back. I once came with BF and once with my female friends. Both times bartender(different ppl) were unwelcoming and made us feel wierd. Cocktails were nothing special.

Absolutely loved it here! I had so much fun! It’s almost an upscale Irish pub, I was very impressed with the décor and ambience, the wood finishes are spectacular! Our waitress was amazing and very accommodating to my little martini ways. I wanted a raspberry chocolate martini, and the bartender NAILEDIT!!! It was so yummy that when he tried it, they decided to put a new martini on the menu. Ri Ra Irish pub, I suggested they name it the Ri Ra Rolatini… hahahaha. I mean it is kind of my invention for them right? Our food was delicious, and very filling. You get a lot of food for your buck here, and I’m more of a smaller portions chick. I can’t wait to come here again and have the Rolatini!!!

I got the steak and chips and it was not good at all. The steak had no taste. The only taste they had on it was the onion, mushroom sauce they put on it. I ordered a Mai Tai which was weak. The second drink was a the forbidden fruit and that was the highlight of the dinner. I was looking forward to the meal and left disappointed.

Went on a tour with City Group Tours and this was our second stop. Eric, the General Manager was more than hospitable. He spent so much time showing us around the pub and giving us a history. The environment and atmosphere are notable as the wood floors, doors, windows, pubs were imported from Ireland. The exact same firm that did the wood floorings for the Tatanic did the floorings for the pub.

Found this spot for happy hour. Great staff and the best chicken tender bites for only $ 5. They were like fish and chips with chicken breast instead. The beer sampler was so good that we ordered a second. The staff seem to know all about their beer. Great place!

Living in the area, RiRa has become one of my very favorite local spots. The bar is nice and roomy, they have great drink specials and a nice selection on tap. Be sure to get to know Caroline and Aoife, these two ladies are simply the best. They are knowledgeable, energetic, hospitable and fun!!! Thanks for another great experience, ladies!!!

I’m from New York, in Atlanta for business, and wanted a place to meet up with about 30 people on a Saturday afternoon. I found Ri Ra thru Unilocal & called to see if they could accommodate us. Peter was the person I spoke to and he couldn’t have been more helpful. I told him we would be there for 2 hours and I needed a variety of appetizers for everyone to share and drinks. He told me not to worry because their main server, Rob, would look after us. ANDDIDHEEVER! Rob, was so wonderful: he recommended appetizers, handled drink tickets, served EVERYONE so efficiently and warmly, I cannot say enough good things about Rob, Peter and Ri Ra Pub. And this is why I use Unilocal

RIRA– rocks. In the ATL, first time in a long time, visiting a friend in Midtown and we popped into RIRA. Firtly, the bar is stunningly beautiful. Wood finishes everywhere and my understanding is that the owners brought all the finishing/décor over from Ireland. Magnificent. Secondly, Caroline and crew(special mention to Aoife). Caroline is the epitome of the Irish Bar tender. Delightful, terrific conversationalist, genuine, all whilst tending to all the other patrons demanding of her attention. Probably a good thing I don’t live in Atlanta as I think she’s single: o, but I digress. If you’re looking for good food, drink and conversation as well as plenty of sporting events(it’s an Irish bar for goodness sake) go to RIRA and let the ladies take care of you. Hope to see you soon– cheers! mtg

You can find Rí Rá Irish Pub at 1080 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA30309 in Midtown. This is located on the back-side of the building in the corner of Crescent and 12th Street so it’s a bit difficult to find if you haven’t been there before. I believe you can use the same parking deck that also feeds RA Sushi and Mi Cocina on the opposite corner of the building(facing Peachtree) if you can’t find free parking. I met about a dozen friends at Rí Rá after an event — it was late afternoon and the pub was about half full. This is a really gorgeous pub done in the classic Irish style with high ceilings, beautiful woodwork and motifs to transport you to the Irish countryside. Even the exterior is very reminiscent of the traditional pub with wood panels and windows opening to the interior on two walls. Once inside there’s an expansive great hall providing access to the large bar, and then side-galleries where you can experience a more intimate setting. It was love at first sight for me. We basically downed multiple pints — I stuck with local craft while others hit pretty much everything offered. For snacks we ordered a few items that can be shared including calimari, the pub chips and several different types of chicken wings. I really enjoyed the hot«Volcanic» especially with an extra side for dipping. Yum. The next time I’ll make sure to order entrees but it just wasn’t the right time. I love pub food and especially fish and chips so I’ll make sure to at least have a bite to compare with the others(mostly lackluster fried tilapia instead of the appropriate cod or haddock) I’ve found in Atlanta. Service was excellent with many small tables and groups of people and much scurrying to take care of all the different selections. Overall an awesome experience. (also posted to my food blog)

I usually end up going to Ri Ra for drinks and events and it seems to always be a good time. There are three different levels to the bar that almost feel like 3 different bars. Depending on your mood, you can hang out in the front bar area and watch TVs, listen to a DJ or band on the 2nd floor, or stretch out a little more in the back room. It’s a very nice change of pace bar for the Midtown area.

Paid to watch the UFC. Room full of people to watch the fight. Idiot manager named Morgan informed the whole room that was there to watch the fights that she wouldn’t turn the sound on in favor of shitty music that nobody wanted to hear. Real smart. Will never return.

An Irish pub operated by real Irishmen. I like it! The energy in this place on a Friday night is great. It was crowded but between the front and the back area there is ample room to move around when you are tired of standing where you are. The bartenders were attentive despite all the actual«rí rá» going on in the place. I’d definitely go back if I were in the area and looking for a place to grab a good drink and meet a wide variety of interesting folk. Sláinte!

The store manager promptly reached out to me and explained the situation. I believe he handled it in a professional manner, so we will therefore be coming back to Ri Ra in the future to try it out again. Unfortunately Throwback Thursdays is no more… so we’ll have to try out their other themed nights. Will update once we get a chance to go, given our busy semester.

I love coming to Ri Ras with its easy parking and spacious eating area. I have heard tale of a cover of you enter late enough but I am not positive I would love clarification. The food is great and it’s fun to hang with friends in the dining room or back room.

The only positive about this place is its convenient to head there right after work to get a drink with coworkers. But only for a couple hours. Late at night they try to turn it into a club because, hey everyone else on crescent street is doing it. Thanks Opera for turning my neighborhood into douche town! And they actually have the nerve to try to charge a cover. What? Last but not least the bums hang around the patio area and harass the customers. They even come into the bar and harass the customers. I went to Ri Ra by myself to grab a burger one night and I saw a bum sitting at the bar with only a water; pretending to be a patron, but I knew better. I saw him bothering people at the bar and then he gets up and comes over to me. I’ve got a greasy burger in my hand and he reaches out to shake my hand before giving me his whole bum-pitch. I wouldn’t shake his hand and he was like«come on man my hands are clean.» And I was like«Well mine aren’t. And I don’t want you reaching over my food like that either. You don’t go bother someone that’s eating dinner.» So he kicks my chair and storms off to bother more people. Everyone in the place saw this. Staff and everyone. And they did absolutely nothing. I even came back one more time and the same thing happened again. Bums sitting at the bar and bothering people and nothing was done about it. The only reason I went back is because I had a friend from out of town and it was the only place open past midnight on a Wednesday within a block of my place.

This place is a pretty good hang out spot. However, it’s not as good as most other bars/clubs in atlanta. The food here was average… nothing special. The drinks were good but were a bit pricey. The music was good. They have two music rooms. One with a dj and another with live music. On a regular friday/Saturday night, it’s packed here. There’s cover which ranges from 5 to 10 on weekends…

We recently moved to Atlanta from LA and hence were left with no friends to spend our Saturday nights watching UFC fight. After we ran our goggle search on bars that’s showed UFC, we randomly rounded on Ri Ra, To be honest I didn’t have any high expectation, but I must say I loved this place and will be back soon for another weekend night. The vibe is so cool and the service is great. We ended up getting free jäger shots. On and all fun night. Great crowd and satisfying meal.

What to do on a Friday Night in Midtown Atlanta? Go to Ri Ra, Of Course! I am traveling for work and have been told I would enjoy Ri Ra, those who recommended it where not wrong. Lets start of talking Happy Hour, which is from 4−7PM. They have two beers that are only $ 4.00. Winning! They also have a beer tasting sampler for $ 6.00. Still winning! Wait, for it… They also have 5 different nibbles at great happy hour prices! WOOOOOOOOOO!!! After the happy hour fun died down, I enjoyed sipping on a perfectly made black and tan with the fish and chips. Holy, Moly! The fish was HUGE and cooked perfectly. Two people could have easily shared that much fish. Not to forget the staff — Caroline and Tabitha were the two who took care of my friend and I. They were both attentive and enjoyed chatting when they had a few spare moments from helping their guests. Next time I am in town, I’ll be frequenting Ri Ra.

We were here 2 nights in a row! Both Tim, and Deirdre were wonderful! We didn’t eat here but were here for drinks and I must say it’s worth it! On Friday night we made our way down Peachtree to see if we can find a place to wet our beaks a little before the big wedding on Saturday. Ri Ra was a fun energentic place that is much bigger than we anticipated from the start. Deirdre was our server and helped us get drinks immediately since the bar area was pretty backed up. We enjoyed some music upstairs and drinks were there before we knew it. At the end of the night we met Tim! He is the man! loved how at the end he walks with the hurling stick, def gave us the feel of a real Irish bar :-) He also looks like the man in charge so the respect was there from the beginning! VERY friendly and even let us take a great pic at the end of the night, responded with some very kind words and at that time made up our minds that we were going to go back! The next day after the wedding we made the announcement at the end of the wedding to head down to Ri Ra! With no prior notice I get there first and ask about a large wedding party to come down. The ladies at the door were very accommodating and Deirdre, yet again, took care of us and got a bunch of tables together for us and even escorted guest to the tables, a very nice touch. ALL guest enjoyed themselves and was even told it was a great finish to a wonderful and special night. Just want to thank all the staff and especially BIG thank you to both Tim and Deirdre for the great hospitality!

Ri Ra is a fun Irish Pub in the Midtown area in Atlanta. It is a very spacious bar offering all of the typical drink options of an Irish Pub. I cannot attest to the food, as I was only here for drinks. So why 3 stars? We had about 30 people coming in after a wedding and they charged us all a $ 5 cover. I have a pretty strong feeling that there are lots of other bars in the area with no cover.

For your proper Irish pub, look no further than Rí Rá in Midtown Atlanta. I came with a couple of buddies for dinner on a Thursday night and we were more than happy with our experience. Some highlights/thoughts: –The Fish and Chips: a humongous piece of cod that was lightly beer-battered. Truly epic on a Joycean scale. –Smoked salmon and soda bread: perhaps a little overpriced, but fresh and a wonderful choice of app –Classic Old Fashioned: one of the top five best old fashioneds(how do you pluralize that?) I have EVER had –Steak and Chips: the mushroom sauce drizzled on top of the hunk of 12 oz. steak was to die for. I also opted for curry sauced fries, a decision I would happily repeat again and again. –Chicken Pie: loved the pastry crust on tip, but the innards of the pie were a bit soupy for my taste – may be a little better with a thicker sauce. Even so, the veggies and chicken chunks were delightful. A must-order when it’s cold out. –Key Lime Cheesecake: incredible –Black and Tan Brownie Sundae: even more incredible, house-made and über decadent. Our server, Caroline, was absolutely fantastic – gregarious, thoughtful, and really funny. A bhean from the Emerald Isle herself, Caroline treated us to a fascinating history lesson on the beers and whiskeys of her homeland. She also explained that«Rí Rá» is Gaelic for«mayhem… the good kind.» It’s such a fitting name for this establishment that prides itself on traditional Irish dishes like smoked salmon on soda bread, as well as thoughtfully remixed American favorites like sliders(you’ve got to try the Experimentalist slider: delectable fried chicken slathered with curry sauce, it’s perfect). I can only imagine the –good mayhem– that ensues here on St. Patrick’s Day! All told, the mélange of good eats, from apps to main to dessert, left us beyond sated and looking forward to our next experience at Rí Rá!

I went here to watch the USA game during World Cup. As far as Irish Pubs go, it’s meh. My top chain Irish Pubs in ATL are Fado, Ria Ra and Meehans(worst to first). I can appreciate the décor and fancy Irish memorabilia. And this place extends the length of half a football once you’re in. Unfortunately the extra space doesn’t have the TVs setup so you can watch sports. Prices are OK, staff is a little more aggressive than this southern boy can tolerate, food is fair, beer choices are limited on draught but they have a variety of bottles. The ambiance was loud, but that’s OK. I wasn’t on a date or at the library. But overall I think Ria Ra decent. It brings variety to the Midtown Crescent St. area.

We went here for brunch one afternoon and I really enjoyed it. It was way different from the night time events I attend here. This place TURNSUP at night, wall to wall dancing, drinking, partying etc.(at least the last time I came at night a couple years ago) so it was refreshing to see how peaceful and cool it can be during the day. There was a large group of us and the waiter did a great job of keeping everyone happy. He wasn’t pushy at all and was open to giving recommendations on what we should have. I ended up with the Top Chop salad I believe it was called. It had chicken, bacon, avocados and a bunch of other deliciousness. Overall I was very pleased with the salad. It was a nice portion so I didn’t feel hungry afterwards. I was tempted to try the pancakes as well but I thought it would be a little weird to eat pancakes with salad so I refrained from scaring folks. The parking situation was cool. We were able to park in the garage and get validated. He split up the checks with no problems. Overall, everything was enjoyable. I could see myself going back and trying some of the other things on the menu at some point.

I met a couple of friends here for Sunday afternoon football and was surprised how quiet it was. No complaints though as we all like different teams and they were happy to accommodate each of our games on the TVs over the bar. Server disappeared for awhile but for the most part service was okay. I ordered the Classic American breakfast off the Brunch menu — 2 poached eggs, 3 strips of bacon, home fries and toast. Was good and filling. Don’t see myself coming here often but on occasion would meet up with friends here if convenient.

This place is ok. I came with friends to meet friends’ boyfriends on a random Thursday night. They had $ 4 beer specials and half-off burgers. Their burgers were okay. I enjoyed the sauces on the 404 and the dubliner. Server was pretty cool too, had good drink recommendations based on what I was looking for. There are a lot of places to go in midtown for food so I wouldn’t come back here for food, but definitely to have a beer with a friend. Awesome sweet potato fries and kale & bacon btw.

We were told to visit this place by a friend, he told us to have dinner there. In his defense, we got there around 10:00 p.m. At that point, there was a bouncer at the door and none of the tables had food on them, just people drinking. We walked to the back and the tables were stacked up. We left. We came back the next day to have a drink and we sat at the bar. Our bartender had zero personality. The whole bar was just dark and gloomy on what was a nice day outside. The vibe was just off.
