I never got to see the Dr, but when I called to schedule an appointment for a physical the woman who answered the phone was really rude and difficult with me. I’d asked to schedule and appointment for a physical and said I was a new patient. She asked who my insurance was with, I told her, and then asked if I had the«PPO» or «HMO», I said I think it was the PPO, she said she needed to know because they don’t accept HMO. I said ok, and as I’m reaching for my card, she puts me on hold which lasted over 3 minutes. When she came back she said, «hello are you trying to schedule and appointment» I said yes and she put me on hold again. I didn’t even have a chance to explain to her I have a POS. She finally comes back and tells me they have an opening for April 2nd at 3:00 and that she suggests I come in between March 23rd and 30th to get blood drawn so they have it. I asked, «when…» and she cut me off to say in a slow you’re stupid kind of way, «anytime between March 16th and 30th». I asked, «What time» and she did it again, very slow, «8:30». I asked her why she was being rude to me and she said, «I beg your pardon I feel the opposite», I replied that I was sorry and only trying to schedule a physical and she said«And I’m trying to help you». I told her I was going to find a new Dr. She said, thank you and hung up on me.

Best doctor in Atlanta! Dr. Peeler and his staff are so AMAZING and professional. Its a cozy office and the receptionist and nurse are always so sweet making you feel like a human being and not just another patient. I go to him for EVERYTHING. The office complex isn’t the prettiest or most hi tech building I’ve ever seen, BUT there is always parking and the real attention and respect you get with his practice is worth it. I hope he never retires. He also is pretty good about being on time. I think the most I’ve waited is 20 minutes, when at some practices I’ve waited 2+ hours.
