Rahim’s Seafood

I ordered the two piece catfish and 5 piece whiting special. I was very disappointed. Fish was super greasy. No taste really. Half a hand full of fries with the catfish and a little tiny container of coleslaw. Won’t be returning here.

We loved the sandwiches we had. It was fresh, seasoned well and nice size portions.
The young man behind the counter was very nice. We’ll be back!

Please do not waste your time franchising this place! This place had fairly decent reviews so I gave it a chance… why did i do that! They are over priced, have hidden bogus out of date charges, and the fish is mediocre. I only gave two stars because the young guy was nice. Will never ever return.

This is one of those places I want to big up. And I do. The good. The catfish sammich tasteful. Sh*t is banging! I’m a seafood freak. You absolutely, can’t can’t can’t can’t can’t be out of most seafood items as a seafood establishment. That is unacceptable by most seafood establishments. They fries are cool though #Random. Place is not easiest to spot. Tucked away in a gas station parking a lot across the street from Scotch. It is something to try if you are in the area but I wouldn’t come from Decatur or Suwanee for it.

I had whiting, french fries, and hush puppies and every thing tasted like it was fried in the same grease. Also, the guy working there said the menu items listed on Unilocal are old. There isn’t any greens, mac and cheese, or desserts.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a few months now and finally decided to give it a shot. Yesssssss the fried seafood Gawds must love me!!! They led me to the right place. I truly love me some seafood. Steamed, Fried, boiled… whatever. I just love seafood and this place gets the «fried» kind right.
I ordered the fish and shrimp dinner which included several pieces of fried whiting and several large shrimp. (not those mini over fried popcorn thingies). It also included a side of coleslaw which was just bit too sweet for my taste, hush puppies which I didn’t try and French fries which I swapped out for some onion rings. The onion rings were just the kind I like, battered. My meal was definitely large enough for 2 people so I was kind enough to share with my daughter. Yes I can be nice sometimes when it comes to sharing my food. My only complaint is that they seem to charge an upcharge on everything. Initially I asked if I could swap tilapia for the whiting, I was told it was would an additional $ 3, then I asked to swap onion rings instead of fries, that was another $ 1, then I noticed that there is also a note on the wall that states that prices have gone up and there is an additional .30 charge on all order or something like that.
If you are on a low-​cal, no fried food diets, this may be the place for you. However if you are looking for a few extra calories, fried to perfection goodness, definitely give Rahims a shot. They are tucked away next to a gas station but right across the street from my favorite Jamaican spot Scotch Bonnett

So on point. I tried the lemon pepper with medium… too good. But I’ve also had just the medium… not your typical hot wing sauce. Its just… Rahim’s! Gotta try it to know what I’m saying. But really good! Great neighborhood spot. My moms lives close by and she loves it too!

I usually eat at Rahim’s on a regular basis. You can choose from a southern style meal with the traditional meat entrée, 2 sides and a roll or u can just have some of their great wings & fries. Either way you can’t go wrong! When I get the 10pc wings and fries, I have them mix the mild and lemon pepper sauce together before putting it on my wings, it is SOOOOO good! I also like to dip my fries in the wing sauce and when I tell you that I have to close my eyes and think about that for a minute, please believe me it is good!!! You ever had something so good that you dance or move around while you eat, lol! Yeah it’s like that!!! I just don’t like the wait sometimes, but overall the service is good, the food is great, the dessert is fresh and the staff is very friendly!
