I’ve dined at this restaurant a total of two times, excluding my most recent visit. My partner and I, both black, entered the restaurant at 5:06 pm, followed by a caucasian couple. The host informed us that the servers were in a meeting and that it would be a short wait before we were greeted. By 5:36 pm, both caucasian couples that were in the restaurant had been greeted, but no one ever acknowledged us. We decided to take our business to a restaurant that didn’t display what we considered discrimination. As we exited, we were once again ignored by the servers and manager that was in the bar area. Needless to say, I will not return to this restaurant ever again.

Really gone downhill! Been coming here for over 5 years but NEVER again! Horrible service, much smaller portions, order mixed up, coffee still excellent but getting a refill was impossible. Is it really necessary to get up several times during the meal to get service? Ordered Eggs over easy, they came hard as rocks. Goodbye Redial. Many better options out there.

My friend and I used a voucher for a dinner at Radial Café. It included an app, drinks, two entrees, and dessert. We got the chile relleno for the app — it was OK, but not as good as one we had tried together. For my entrée, I got the mole. My friend tasted it and said it was not good mole. She is from San Diego and has plenty of good mole in her life. I also didn’t think it taste very good, but it was edible. For sides, we tried out sweet potato hash and corn poblano. The poblano was very good. The hash was OK. For dessert, we tried the gluten free chocolate cake. Surprisingly, not horrible. I think my friend got it right when she said it tasted like stale cake. Our server was a bit flighty and my friend thought that was annoyed by us for some reason. Overall, not the greatest dining experience.

Hipster central over here. From the outside, Radial Café look like a page right out of the most hipster magazine you can find in Atlanta… however, there were a few flaws with our visit. We came on a Sunday, which you would expect a long wait because Sunday is infamously also known as #brunchday. But when we got here, it was busy, but not packed. Red Flag #1. When our server came and introduced the menu to us, he seemed slightly unsure of some dishes and confused on others. It might have been his first day, or he might actually just not know the menu too well, but we easily navigated through it ourselves. Red Flag #2. The order took FOREVER. And when I say forever, I mean they weren’t that busy and it took over 45 minutes. The table behind us, that showed up significantly later than us, got their food first. We later found out that our server, as nice as he is, forgot to put our orders in… and the hangry little stomach roared on… Red Flag #3. The food itself I would have to say was alright. Nothing was too special about their brunch menu, but it wasn’t all that horrible either. The only problem with my dish was that the tortillas I received with my meal were completely shredded. I’m not entirely sure why or how they ended up like that, but I personally was not happy to eat my scramble with shredded tortillas. Red Flag #4. Just going to leave it at «has potential.» Radial Café can be a very popular spot for people in ATL, but it has some minor hiccups to address. tl;dr — 4 red flags in one sitting, eh… not sure if I’ll be returning, but try it yourself and see what you think.

I’m glad I found this place. I came here for breakfast. The food here was great and so was the service. I’ll be back!

Great place, food was amazing, if it wasn’t for the server forgetting to warm our syrup, would’ve been perfect

Really cool place! Def a place I’d like to check out for brunch sometime in the future. Ample space and beautiful accented furniture pieces placed around with some really impressive art work. I came here with a buddy for lunch during burger week. The burger was great! Def near the top of my all time favorites. The only qualm with the burger was the bun and pimento cheese. The bun was whole wheat and it was probably one of the few times I’ve had a burger with a whole wheat bun and it just wasn’t as good as a regular Kaiser or something similar in my opinion. The issue with the pimento cheese was that that there just wasn’t enough of it on the burger. Or rather, it was probably just more subtle than I expected. But despite these minor issues, the burger was very satisfying and I recommended it to my friends.

Terrible experience! When we came, we were asked to wait for 20 mins and and after that I find out that I have to wait 30MORE minutes! What for– because the host at the front desk miscalculated the time! Come on get your math correct!

Came in the middle of a Saturday afternoon for Atlanta Burger Week. So good! The Local Burger was divine with pimento cheese, bacon, arugula, and green tomatoes. Anytime they have green tomatoes for the burger, definitely get them! We also had to try the cinnamon roll and were definitely not disappointed. Probably the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. Great cocktails too.

I love the farm-to-table concept and the ambiance is definitely fun but the food was really mediocre and the service subpar. The Food: Wife and I came here for breakfast. I had the red flannel hash, she had a breakfast sandwich with a side of sweet potato hash. Red flannel hash: the eggs were soggy, the potatoes were soggy and the corned beef was both unevenly sized and relatively bland. All together it was just a bad breakfast. Breakfast sandwich: not bad, not great, just an OK sandwich. The sweet potato hash was the best of what we ate and had a very nice spice to it. The coffee was OK, nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either. The Service: Meh. They brought out nice little free banana bread and muffin. Nice touch but if they’d served it warm it would have been better. Our server brought out the wrong coffee, then charged us for it, then wasn’t super happy about taking it off. Their low flush toilet was clogged with a giant terd which was quite nasty to see. They unclogged it quickly and I guess it could happen to any restaurant but it fit the mediocre experience package quite nicely. I will say the lunch and dinner menus did look pretty nice but after our first experience it’s unlikely we’ll give it another try.

The food is very, very good here. They offer a lot of healthier options, which don’t necessarily taste«healthy», which is good thing. However, the service is really, really bad. It is close to my house and we always seem to go on weekday afternoons when it is slower. I don’t know how many times we have come in to a dead room and still the waiter meanders past us, does something completely trivial or just stands around for a bit, then comes over to get our drink order. At least 4 times we’ve had issues with food coming out cold because it has obviously sat at the window for a while before being brought to our table, despite the fact that the restaurant is less than half full. I will say that the one time I pointed it out to the server he comped my meal without me asking, which was very professional. I’ve been a server many times, and I definitely respect it as a profession, but I also understand when service is just lackadaisical. Since this has been an issue with almost all the servers we had there, I’m pretty sure it is a management problem, as they set the culture and expectations for the servers.

Yes! I had been told about this restaurant a while back. We happened to move close and stopped by on our way home one weekday. The menus(both breakfast and lunch) are extensive and include a lot of organic, vegan and expected choices. I had the goada scramble with Delia’s chicken sausage. While I found the sausage a little spicy, the scramble was completely delicious! The jam that comes with the toast is wonderful. My husband had the All American breakfast and really enjoyed it. His cheese eggs were the way he likes them, all cheese melted and incorporated throughout, and the grits were made to perfection. They have both inside and outside seating and a full bar. The server was very enthusiastic about the specials, choices, etc. What more is needed in a local spot?

Radial Café is a great spot for breakfast, especially if you are going with a group. There is a good variety of options, and there is something for everyone, including the gluten-free vegan types. The last time I went, I order the Gouda Scramble and I was happily stuffed by the time I finished. I substituted the toast for a biscuit, which was a great decision. The reason I couldn’t give this place 5 stars is that their service is inconsistent. Food can be quick to be served or it can take an inordinate amount of time; sometimes the wait staff is very friendly and other times he/she is not welcoming and can’t answer simple questions from the menu. However, the food and atmosphere make up for this inconsistency, for the most part.

Based off the service alone I will not be returning. My two sons and I are here as I type and our food hasn’t come out and I’m already extremely disappointed. Out of the 3 hosts that were present none of them said a word to us all while chatting it up with all of the other diners waiting to be seated, assuring them that a table would be made available to them shortly. We were not treated warmly or friendly. Once seated Adam, our server was super nice and friendly a definite contrast to our initial hosts. As this was our first time I would have appreciated if our server would have informed us of the specials as well as provided us with a kids menu as I was dining with a 2 year old. I wasn’t aware they offered a kids menu and ordered off of the adult menu for a 2 year old. Our food came out hot and everything was delicious. I had the bagel and lox, it was prepared exactly like I like it l. My elder son had the biscuits and veggie gravy with 2 eggs and a chicken sausage. He said his food was amazing and very filling. The little one had a chicken sausage and buttermilk biscuit with jam and organic milk. He ate every bit so I will assume it was delicious! Even though the food was good the service(from the hosts) would deter me from coming again.

How does this place not have five stars? It’s all around amazing! The food is delicious(vegan and, I’ve been told, the meaty bits). I had the pancakes with nutmeg and I was overwhelmed with their tastiness. Just warm and perfect. My boyfriend loved their grits and sausage. We went here twice because it was so perfect. The place is just beautiful. Wood and clean. The lighting is warm and natural. In one booth I actually had a pillow. Our first server was a young guy from Chicago, maybe, and he was fabulous. Super friendly and made sure we knew everything that was in the menu and our options. Our second server was really great, too, but I think she knew we were wiser to the ways of the restaurant. Eat here. There’s no reason not to. You will not lose.

I had book marked this neighborhood spot in advance of coming to Atlanta and I’m happy I did so. It was a an extremely wet day so seating wasn’t a problem and grabbed a spot at the bar. The bartender was very helpful in providing some good insight with regard to menu and options. Lots of tasty choices from vegan, gluten free and very flexible to cooking everything to order. I ended up choosing one of their most popular dish, that was their GA trout. I have to say it was a perfect dish. It had the right amount of blackening and sear finished of with a delectable hollandaise sauce speckled with flects of tomatoes and herbs. But what you have to try is the chorizo stuffing that accompanied the dish. To me, it was the best tasting stuffing I’ve had, ever! All this for $ 9.99…best bang for the buck ever! To finish off the dish I followed that entre with the sweet potatoe bread pudding. I’m totally queer for a good b. Pudding and this was right there. The caramel and scoop of ice cream put this over the top. I’m glad I’m here for an extended time and thus will allow me time to try the rest of the menu. I can’t wait!

Cool place. Very accepting of different types of people which is an awesome quality of a restaurant. The wait was super long, and when my wife and I sat down by the bar, we noticed a couple of empty tables which was confusing to me. Maybe they didn’t have enough servers? Anyway, I had a green juice at the bar which made me feel ten times better. We did go for brunch on a Sunday from a wedding previously and this was a recommendation for a hangover. It’s a juice from Arden’s garden. When we finally got seated, I was super stoked to eat. The bread/muffins that were given to us were absolutely tasty so I was looking forward to the food. My wife ordered scrapple and I got the corned beef. Well. It wasn’t what we expected. Maybe because the restaurant is all about healthy alternatives? I just wasn’t impressed. I’ll be back for the people and the ambiance, but I’ll save my appetite for somewhere else.

Tried this restaurant on the recommendation after Sunday morning rooftop yoga and chilling by the pool. We didn’t realize it was going to be out of our way in relation to where we were downward facing dog-ging it up, but I think it was worth the trek. My friend was ecstatic that there were so many food options for her, since she’s doing the Blood Type Diet right now and has trouble dining out. I was pleased because they had a pretty nice cocktail list + mimosas and bellinis on the menu(totally opposite ends of the spectrum). I ordered the salmon scramble w/cream cheese and a biscuit. The salmon made the scramble a bit too salty. But hey, it’s smoked salmon so saltiness is to be expected. My friend order the trout with no fixings and the sweet potato hash. Her plate was completely clean. I think she liked it. She also loooved the coffee. I believe the coffee’s bottomless. I should’ve ordered the pancakes like I wanted to. But I’m sure I’ll have a chance to try a lot of items on the menu in the future.

I cam with a scoutmob for dinner and I thanked the heavens that I did! Great service, great ambiance(country-modern) and great food. We got the : Bacon and eggs — bacon wrapped dates and pimento cheese stuffed eggs Lordy, these were amazing. I normally hate deviled eggs but they didn’t stick the yolk back in, they threw it out and refilled the egg with goodness. 4 sides– corn poblano soufflé(amazing! just add hot sauce), super food salad with peanut sauce vinaigrette(kale, cabbage, spinach, broccoli), fresh fruit, collard greens. Their sides and salad sides are veggies done right. Just cause it’s healthy doesn’t mean it’s not amazing, these folks got it right. Gnocchi — butter nut squash and shiitake mushrooms plus a side. I loved the gnocchi, it melted in my mouth as did the butternut squash. Praline cake– this dessert could sell itself and put Radial Café on the map. It’s carmally, buttery, and perfectly ended my evening. Martini — they can make a mean martini(trust me, no all restaurants do) Pianola Rita with jalapeño infused alcohol-this was my girly drink for the night. I loved it. Nothing like a spicy margarita to satisfy the soul.
