Professional Cleaners

I guess it’s true what they say, «You get what you pay for.» This place may offer inexpensive dry-​cleaning services, but what they offer in low-​cost, they make up for in a lack of customer service. I dropped off my husband’s dry-​cleaning. It was at least 30 pieces. When I returned to pick it up. I was apathetically informed that the ticket that was attached to the dress shirts, fell off and that I had to look through other dress shirts to decide which ones were my husbands. I don’t know what wife would be able to distinguish between her husband’s light blue dress-​shirts. They all look similar. When I interrupted my husband’s work day to FaceTime the questionable shirts, it was hard for him to see them, so we had to guess. The owner left the store without so much as an «I’m sorry.» The female (maybe his wife) basically told me to get over it when I expressed my displeasure in her inability to at least apologize for the inconvenience. She said that if I was that sensitive, I should take my business elsewhere. Talk about poor customer service. Customers beware! Either this place will lose your clothing and/​or they will not give a damn when they do.

Took a dress and a tie to be sewed there. First I showed both to the attendant, asked her to look at it and see if it could be done how I wanted it done. She said yes, charged me and said it would be ready 3 days later. Later at home I get a call from a very rude man who owns the place who tells me they cannot do the two simple things I asked them to, according to him because «it can’t be done» –one was to sew together a rip on a dress, which I said I understood it wouldn’t look perfect, and the other was to sew a patch on the back of a tie, he claims it cannot be done and not have the stitches go through the front (which is ridiculous). He was very rude.
To make matter worse, the girl who had told me they could do the service, shoved her fingers into the rip on my dress and made it bigger.
Please don’t use this place. There’s a better one across the street.
They should go out of business.

I was a loyal customer of this store for over 4 years. Yes, it’s dirty but they did a good (and cheap) job of cleaning my clothes.
Until about a year and a half ago, they were also where dry cleaning from the Northpark office buildings was sent.
However, today they lost a loyal customer. Why? The actions of their new employee.
This was the fourth time in recent weeks I visited this store to drop off clothing. And every time the girl behind the counter would reach around me to the person behind me and service them first. Drop off /​pick up… doesn’t matter.
It’s called a line, people, and you wait your damn turn. Not a difficult concept.
But it’s not just me. This employee is rude to everyone that walks in the door.

While preparing to head out of town for the week I took my items to them 4 days prior to my departure where I explained the following:
–Needed a button replaced (good)
–A hole sewed in on a jacket arm (good)
–Cleaning of other items (subpar)
–Pink colored lint removed from jacket collar where I specifically requested this area to be cleaned thoroughly (sorely poor job)
So I go to pick my items up (that they have you pay for the service at the time of drop off) and initially the black guy working the counter couldn’t find my items because the hispanic lady that entered the information upon drop off entered it incorrectly. So I receive the items and of course the pink fuzzy balls are still on the collar and the black guy states he would fix the problem only to have the owner come out and state that they couldn’t clean it again?!
What really and after «your guy» just stated he could and I’ve been waiting now 15 mins (at 2p)? So finally after me fussing for about 3 mins the owner has the guy take it back in the back and wouldn’t you know it the fuzzy stuff was removed?!
Which just tells me they never cleaned that area to begin with. Needless to say I would never patronize this company again and would not recommend as well. No thank you, they can keep this place 1^st and last time!

Yes I’m a fan of Professional Cleaners.
The service is always quick and highly proficient.
And the prices (if you pre-​pay in cash) are the best. I cannot imagine ever ironing a men’s dress shirt again when I use their discount and bring in the requisite 5 shirts; when they only charge $ 0.95!
