If I could give a negative score, I would. Dr. Thomas is actually a great doctor. Unfortunately, he is kind of a ding bat and his office is ran by a bunch of unprofessional nitwits. My last visit, I gave them my insurance information since it had changed. I paid my copay for my new insurance. My old insurance had no copay. No biggie. Why is it then, that today I get a phone call saying they don’t have my new insurance info because they did not get it from me the last time and they are about to bill me for the full amount? If they didn’t get my new insurance information last time, why did they charge me for my copay for my NEW insurance? The office manager, Amy, would not admit she was wrong and kept saying how she made a note in my file that I was to call with my insurance information. Just admit you’re wrong, lady!!! Also, my last batch of prescriptions that they sent in for mail order, took forever to complete and I missed a few days of my blood pressure meds due to the fact that I couldn’t get them to understand that I needed a 3 month supply instead of a 1 month supply due to costs. They also called a prescription in for meds that I didn’t even discuss. I had allergy testing done 6 months ago(which I never heard back info on… they were to consult my insurance company to see if they’d pay for at home treatment and they never did) and they decided to call in a prescription for the Epi Pens I would need for at home treatment… yet they’ve never gotten approval from the insurance company?! I ALSO, did a sleep study with them. Instead of getting results from them, I got a phone call from a medical equipment company wanting to sell me the cpap machine. I didn’t even know I needed it! The staff is awful. It’s unfortunate because Dr. Thomas, even though he is really weird and out there, is a pretty decent doctor. I won’t be back ever again though. They’ve had too many chances to right a wrong.
