Play It Again Sports

I took something there to consign. I was told one thing and received another thing. They are film flam artists. I ended up getting $ 75.00 for an item I was originally promised no less than $ 200 if I call them by a certain date. I called before then and was told differently. They are NOT honest. Don’t do business with them!

Some things here can be a little pricey for previously used items. But if I’m being honest, I love this place and all the cool things they have.

Went to sell some stuff to them. They have a big store with a lot of inventory! I was surprised on how neat it was and what they offered.
Good: a lot of useful items I could use. They also are the only Play It Again that has ski and snowboard equipment. Customer service is really awesome too!
Bad: can’t really say anything bad. I hope they do well!
Conclusion: I’ll be back for a bike, boxing, or snow ski equipment!

Where do you typically think of going when you need sports or fitness equipment? Sports Authority, Target, Amazon? Yeah, me too.
I needed to buy some free weights for working out at home, but I was running into a problem. Free weights (even smaller ones like 10 — 12 pounds) are not very cheap. What’s the deal? I need a piece of metal a certain weight and you’re charging me upwards of $ 15 per dumbell! Huh?
While relaying this tale of woe to my boyfriend, he suggested I check out Play it Again Sports — a store known for good prices on used sports gear. I had even used them myself shopping for softball cleats and bats during middle school, but I’d never even considered this place for used fitness equipment too.
Boy was that a smart move. We went to the Play it Again closest to us over the weekend, which is located up Roswell Rd in Buckhead, and out front there were lots of bicycles, inside there was the expected amounts of golf, baseball, soccer and other sports equipment, but over on one wall was a ton of fitness stuff including lots of free weights of varying sizes! Score! Even better was that they had some that were probably half of what I would have paid for the same thing anywhere else. Double score!
In short order, I was hefting small free weights onto the counter and with my boyfriend’s help, we hauled my new weights out to the car. Bada bing, bada boom, I had my weights for a lot less than I would have paid elsewhere, even online. (Shocking but true).
Very nice job, Play it Again Sports, the next time I’m in need of anything fitness-​related, I’m thinking of you first.
