Piedmont Physicians at Camp Creek

I’ve been here as a walk-​in twice in the last seven months.
Each time I’ve tried to schedule a physical or ob/​gyn appointment its been set out three to four months later, so I end up cancelling. Most recently, I went in a few days ago, as a walk-​in, requested an appointment for a physical, and the next appointment time she has was November. What the freak? From June to November?
I’m one of those people that I have to go to the doctor’s when I’m in a doctor mood, and if the appointment is going to be five months later, I’m probably not going to go.
I make sure and cancel at least 24 hours in advance, because the fees are HEFTY if you don’t cancel or reschedule in advance.
I’ve actually never met Dr. Burney, maybe she doesn’t see the walk-​ins.
Overall, the staff is accommodating. The wait times are what I would consider about average for a walk-​in, both times I’ve waited less than 30 minutes.
They don’t lecture me for letting a 90 day high blood pressure prescription stretch out over seven months. So I’m pleased about that.
I’m not sure if I’m going to stick with her, something about me says that I need a doctor thats older than 36 years old. At least that’s what her profile says on the healthgrades website. Guess the cynic in me, wants a doctor that older than me.
