The good: Dr. Perrine is competent, and her facilities are comfortable and up-to-date, quality equipment. The bad: *45 minute wait(with an appointment). *They sell frames, and really try to sell you on buying frames through them. Their selection has a lot of frames from 20 – 40 $(not sure how much the lenses cost), but is pretty limited and bland(IMHO), and I wasn’t into being pushed into buying their frames. I decided I would buy online somewhere. *Though I paid for a prescription and health-screening, they refused to provide a pupillary distance measurement(required for any rx glasses purchase), stating they only provide this when you order glasses. They didn’t offer any options, not even an additional charge for this measurement, just dismissive. Purchasing frames from a 3rd party is pretty ubiquitous, so if you plan on doing so I suggest asking upfront(I had had completed my appointment and paid by time that I noticed that they didn’t include the PD). Prices(w/o insurance): Eye exam(glasses): 45 +Eye health Exam: 60 +Dilation: 90 The«eye health exam» caught a potential aberration which I am glad to have seen. Despite this and the other positives(as well as being very close to my studio) I will not be referring anyone nor coming back.
