I had a horrible experience with this company and now have an attorney seeking compensation for the damages. Nearly every piece of my furniture was broken, boxes marked Fragile were literally crushed and punctured, and my deposit was not refunded from my credit card, even thought I paid it twice. I had to dispute the charge with my card company, even though Peach State assured me on two occasions it had been refund. The day of the move and damage, which inluded my belongings being unloaded from the truck I supervised and onto a much smaller truck(too small) that had the items loaded haphazardly and falling out, I sent pictures and was assured insurance would cover all damage. That was August 8. I have not heard from CEO Darrius Hunnicutt since August 11, despite calls, emails and an attorney correspondence. This is a very shady operation.

Peach State Movers came highly recommended to me, so I was beyond disappointed with the lack of service I received. I called a month prior to schedule my move and 2 week storage. Their rates were below what I had initially quoted from other moving companies, so I gave them my credit card information to hold the date. I was charged the $ 100 deposit and never received an email confirmation. I called back a week later to ensure that my move was in fact scheduled, was told that it was not, was charged the $ 100 deposit a second time, and again did not receive a confirmation. I called 2 days after being charged the 2nd time, was promised I would receive a confirmation email that same day and still did not, so I called a final time to cancel the move and to request a refund of the $ 200 deposits.(To their defense, they had the wrong email address, but this was after I had given my correct email to 3 separate people in my request for confirmation.) 6 days after my cancellation, I still have not received a credit for the $ 200 deposits, so I have now requested to dispute the charges through my bank. I realize that summer is the busiest time to move, but I felt that my business was not important to them and I got the impression that they were unorganized in keeping track of their paperwork. In fact, in my experience, I would deem this company unresponsive, unorganized and unprofessional.
