5 star service. Ask for Jimmy, he is the greatest. Love the crap cakes. the best carrot cake you will ever have. Love the veal parm. I am a big fan of the rib eye. The palm knows how to pour a good drink. One of my favorite place to have a drink and steak in town. The clam casino is a great way to start a meal at the Palm.

Typically, I enjoy the food at the Palm. However, I definitely appreciate them more at lunch. The dinner prices warrant a great experience(food and service) and it’s just not always great. If you’ve never gone before, try them during lunch.

Poor service. Had multiple waiters help our waiter as he was inattentive. We had to remind him of being part of the 847 club more than one time. In addition, reservation was lost or forgotten about. Many people walked between the half foot opening between wall and my chair, which was rude. This was the last time I will ever dine here after years of coming to the Palm.

Well I went yesterday 2−14−16 to this restaurant after looking at the good reviews on Unilocal. My first impression was good, the place is clean and fancy, it’s really what I was expecting for the price tag that it had. When They took us to the table I notice they gave me a hide up table, but because it was a little full I didn’t complain, plus I was in a good mood. Our server came in took our drink and appetizer order and everything was great, and then start happening. I was talking to my wife and the server when the guy that clean the tables took my appetizer plate that still had food on it, I let the server know and she immediately when and grab me a new set. Couple of minutes after that the food comes in, I order a Filet mignon, really looks awesome so I star cutting it and it was perfect just how I order it until I tasted, how you ever tasted a cow? Well I did yesterday my filet didn’t had a hint of salt, I again explained to the server and she immediately got my plate, and came back and told me that the chef was cooking me a new filet. Well when I got the second filet that I want it medium well, they gave to me as a medium rare. I was already a little agitated so I eat it. After all my no that good experience cost me $ 158.00 plus tip. So now I leave the restaurant and go to the Valet and gave them my ticket, 15 minutes later I talk to the same guy that got my ticket and he tells me that they cannot find my car. After 45 minutes they find my keys, yup and then when they brought my car he try to tell me that I have 2 tickets in my car and that I been in the hotel for 3 days, at the end I just told him straight to give my keys and to know that the vehicle that I’m driving its brand new. Lol. So thats the awful experience that I had in a $$$$ rest. Thanks to Palm Rest for the mess up. I think you guys need to get some things straight.

It may not be fair to assign one star based on experience not related to food quality but it’s worth noting it’s mediocre/rude service as a guest of the adjacent hotel, the Westin. My experience is based on a participant of a large group who stayed @ the Westin the entire week. You would think things might improve after a couple days of serving us breakfast/evening drinks and conversations with our event manager but they didn’t. Breakfast service took no less than 35 minutes, sometimes even an hour. In other words, so long that people had to cancel their order because they would miss their meeting. The bar area was extremely packed in the evening — obviously this is based off of occupancy at the hotel and may be out of control but they could do a better job of ensuring staff is available and that they also take pride in their work/aren’t rude to patrons. Unfortunately some of my group continued to patronize out of convenience but that is the ONLYREASON I’d ever go to the Palm — even for a drink.

I visited Palm Restaurant with my girlfriend and her parents last week. I can report a good experience with an excellent steak and sides. We visited on a Monday night, so there was not a huge crowd. We were seated promptly and ordered some wine and drinks. The staff was attentive, but the waitress was not helpful in recommending pairings. I ordered a filet with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts as sides. The rest of the table ordered steaks as well. The sides were large enough to share among the four of us without any of us feeling short-changed. The steak was cooked perfectly with a great flavor. The sides were also excellent. I would recommend them all. Our waitress had a strange attitude. I found her demeanor to be oddly unprofessional for the environment, but the rest of my party found her charming. Maybe I’m just grumpy. She seemed too nonchalant, but she did a good job with drinks and being attentive, so I can’t knock her too much. Overall, this was a good meal. Was it worth the price? That’s another question. It’s inside the Westin Hotel, so you have an instant mark-up for business travelers. My girlfriend’s parents were staying there, so it was convenient and the valet was fast. I would probably not come here again if I were not in the hotel, but it’s great for guests. You can get comparable steaks at better prices elsewhere, but you certainly won’t go wrong here.

Disappointed is a good word to describe my experience. Nice atmosphere, polite staff. But the food was pretty bland. My filet was definitely a nice cut of beef but was virtually flavorless. And although medium, was room temperature(at best). And the three cheese au-gratin potatoes might as well have been made with butter and no cheese. Great texture but taste would have been great. Was staying next-door during #snowmaggedon16 and decided to give it a chance #mistake

They blew Christmas – we were so appreciative of the people working on the Christmas holiday that we didn’t complain when 30 minutes went by and we didn’t have drinks… or when an hour went by and we didn’t have food… but neither the manager nor the server would tell us what was going on until an hour and 45 minutes after we sat down and told them we were walking out because we didn’t have food or communication about how much longer our food would be. At the price point and reputation it wants to have, it should invest in a management staff that knows how to handle these situations better.

We were a table of five on Christmas evening. The food was very good. The service was mediocre but then again they were crazy slammed. However, their table placement was atrocious. I was seated at the side of a round table very near a wall. Sadly, not quite near enough. With me in the chair there were probably 10″ to 12″ or so of space between the back of the chair and the wall. Almost every server in the area cut behind me and jostled my chair throughout the meal. One even put his hands on both of my arms in an almost embrace and told me «it’s okay». What? Either move the table or insist the servers go another route. It was beyond distracting and annoying. I’d expect a lot more attention to detail for the menu prices.

Service was excellent but I would have to give the five stars to the one thing that, standing alone, would warrant a five star rating no matter what the balance of the experience was like. This amazing filet was hands down the best steak I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I would have to classify it as «beef butter». Seasoned perfectly, cooked perfectly and what is the knife supposed to be used for?

Always fantastic food– filet cuts like butter and can order the loaded baked potato off menu that’s to-die-for, but what separates this restaurant from the rest is the service. Manager, Michael from Chicago, is easily one of the most likable and caring restaurant managers I’ve had the pleasure of encountering– reminds me why I used to be so brand loyal to The Palm. Tiffany, our server, hustled and anticipated our needs and the overall vibe was wonderful. It’s a gem of a restaurant that has the feel of a small biz entrepreneur who loves serving great food with extraordinary service and doing everything possible to make the dining experience excellent!

We were tired & hungry one night after 9:00 p.m. during our stay at the Westin Bulkhead in Atlanta, so we decided to try the restaurant in our hotel. The restaurant was busy but we were seated right away. The wine list was perfect & the food was wonderful!!! The staff was knowledgable and helpful! What a perfect place to relax & unwind!!!

The chicken parmesan is the best I’ve ever had. Overall though, it seems too pricey for what it is… a chain restaurant in a hotel.

Food: every time I go to the palm I enjoy my food. This time I had the salmon which was prepared simply. Served with a little lemon on the side. Perfect. Caesar salad to start. Sides included fresh veggies and cottage fries. Dessert was the cheesecake which was awesome. Strawberry sauce on top. In my view, you can’t go wrong at the Palm. Service: good, but not great. Everyone was polite and attentive, but I was holding a work function and this one waiter kept clanking glasses while my colleague was speaking. It also took too long to turn the music off. Atmosphere: standard, ny style steakhouse… which works I’ll go back. Have hosted events here before. Pretty reliable.

Not a a restaurant, it’s a hotel bar restaurant — not hating just giving you a heads up. Don’t expect The Palm, expect eating at —- oops!!! I take all that back, the maple glazed salad bacon just showed up!!! Love this restaurant!!! So amazing. Best eating experience I’ve ever had!!!

My favorite part was probably the calamari app. Nothing jumps out about this place to make it memorable besides the artwork on the walls. However, I wouldn’t be opposed to go again as the service was delightful and I have no complaints about the food. Just please — no more crushed ice in my cocktail. Lol.

It’s all relative, you know? The Palm is never going to give you good value. But if you stumble into this one in the lobby of your hotel here at the Westin, and you have been on your feet for 14 hours, few things will solve your problems like a bottle of red and a filet. It was timely, delicious and I walked to my room and collapsed.

All these years of living right down the road from the Palm, I have always wanted to experience a dinner there, but was put off by the thought that it would be really expensive. For my Great Aunt’s 86th birthday today, we decided to try it out for lunch. Our Open Table reservation made it really easy to make a reservation an hour before brunch started. In the city, sometimes, it is hard to find a place for brunch that you won’t have to wait. This was not the case at the Palm. We were one of three tables in there for lunch today. I think this is definitely a restaurant you want to dine at for dinner. They are known for their steaks and seafood, but maybe not so much for lunch. We order Ahi Tuna Salad, a Lobster Salad, one Prosecco and a glass of Chardonnay for lunch. Both salads were good, but not impressive. For her birthday, we ordered a Crème Brulee and two coffees. It took a long time to get our dessert and coffees, maybe ten minutes which I thought was odd because we were one of three tables; however, it was very sweet for them to put a candle on the dessert. The bill came and it was $ 88.00. It included the dessert. Okay when you look at what we ordered, it sounds typical at an upscale restaurant, but the service and food quality didn’t match the price. Overall, I am glad that I was able to experience the Palm and the lobby area was being decorated for Christmas which was really pretty.

Honestly I enjoyed my experience to certain degree… but the bottles are way overpriced because it’s the Palm and $ 18 for a carpaccio app that was just alright? I was super bummed. it’s the Palm for God sakes !!! Because of that I opted out of eating an entire meal here. Not to mention we were basically the only souls around… just not my cup O tea if you will. It’s hard to justify the dollars, for me at least
