LOVE this place!!! The staff is always friendly and not pushy at all. Not sure of his name, but the guy who works mostly mornings is super nice, love him! Highly recommend Palm Beach Tan! :)

Love Palm Beach Tan! I mostly go to this location (sometimes the Kennesaw location). They always have my bed available (gold membership, 12 min lay down), their equipment is clean, and they have baby wipes/​hair ties/​q tips/​etc readily available for customers to use. Their staff is nice, although it’s been months since I’ve joined and they still can’t remember my last name– That’s okay though. Their beds are awesome though, and they will give you great color no matter your skin type. They have a great variety of beds and products to choose from– check them out next time you’re in Vinings!

I absolutely look for a Palm Beach Tan whenever I travel. This location is great, with easy access from main roads and hours available every day of the week. The amount of beds and varying degrees of tanning available make this my first choice in tanning salons anywhere. Staff is great… upbeat, welcoming and knowledgeable. It’s too bad I am leaving the area soon, however if I am back here, I will definitely go back!

My thoughts are almost exactly the thoughts of Megan. Last year I went to Solar Dimensions and I will NEVER go back. I was very hesitant to try PBT because I assumed all tanning salons were like Solar Dimensions… but they aren’t! My fiancé and I went in one night at almost closing (sorry to the guy who was working that night!) and just wanted to tour the place, not sign up yet. The guy was so helpful and showed us around. Did not pressure us at all. Told us what the deals were for that month. We were so pleased that next week we ended up signing up.
The staff is absolutely pleasant. They are nice and helpful. I do notice one thing however — now that I have been going for about 3 weeks they are starting to ask EVERY visit if I have lotion, even though I clearly have some in my hand. They aren’t relentless like SD but it is starting to annoy me. I suppose it is just what they do to get sales but honestly if they keep it up, I am going to buy lotion from somewhere else. This is the only reason I am not giving them 5 stars.
I just felt like I needed to make that disclaimer. Other than that, the salon is so clean and well-​lit. The rooms are nice and spacious. All the beds, even the lower level ones, are great and strong. I am getting a much nicer tan here than at SD.
One last thing that they have over SD is that you don’t have to sign up for a contract. Your membership goes by month-​to-​month. I like that because I did not want to have to choose between 3 and 6 months like I had to previously. The prices for the monthly memberships are not outrageous and since I signed up for the diamond level, my future sister-​in-​law was able to «experience» the diamond level for a week at the salon nearest her. OH and you can go to any PBT across the nation! WHICH IS GREAT for those of us who have to travel for work. I could not have been more thrilled. I will continue to go to PBT for years to come!

I’m a big fan of Palm Beach especially compared to my previous tanning membership at Solar Dimensions. PB is very professional and clean and the staff is extremely friendly. The guys at the desk are super nice but also really knowledgable about the products they offer and happy to answer all your questions without pressuring you to spend a small a fortune on their tanning lotions. Plus they don’t make insane claims about how you HAVE to buy their products. One of the guys even let me use his lotion for free just to see if I liked it. They always have really good sales on their lotions anyways and upgrade offers to help you make the most of your membership without spending more than your cable bill on tanning. Plus all they do is tanning so they don’t ever make me feel shitty by telling me I need a wrap or some other bullshit quick fix ***cough solar dimensions cough*** to lose weight. I would recommend PB to anyone especially if you have already been mistreated by one of the other tanning scams in the area.

I’ve been a long time member of Palm Beach Tan at this location and have always been satisfied with my experience. Today I went in to find out how I could tan this week (leading up to a vacay) because I had frozen my membership due to too much business travel and not enough use. Rather than charging me the maximum prices, Lindsay worked with me to find out what would be the best way to handle my unique situation. She had a great attitude and was extremely friendly and helpful. Justin, the assistant manager, was also a pleasure to speak with. They both assisted me in figuring out my membership AND the best product for me.
If you’re contemplating a tanning membership or a spray tan, I definitely recommend Palm Beach Tan at Cumberland. They’ve expanded within the last few years, so there are plenty of beds and it’s always nice & clean. Ask for Lindsay and/​or Justin — they’re the best!

First time here was yesterday. Super convenient location and hours, friendly staff, great products. No contracts! Pay as a walk-​in or get a full month package, which you can cancel at any time :)
I got really nice results, my skin looks great!

I went to PBT yesterday, May 24, and had the worst experience. I’m not sure who the guy working the counter was
(Freakishly white teeth, dry, orange skin) but he was so rude and not welcoming at all. His attitude and demeanor was so off putting and he was not helpful. I wanted to Mystic Tan and he rudely responded by saying Mystic is not working today. No other accommodations was provided. I will never be back and will give my business to Solar Dimensions, where the Mystic beds ARE in working order and people are nice.

I am very impressed with Palm Beach, just joined. The place is super clean and the equipement is state of the art. they have both the mystic and versa spray tan machines. I have nothing bad to say about this place. The tanning beds are super new as well
