We came here first thing this morning and I think Oy! is our new favorite breakfast spot. Portions are huge and service is amazing, quick, caring– I could go on for days. We had a slight mix up with our order and they handled it immediately and in the sweetest/most professional manner I’ve ever seen. I had the challah egg casserole– very delicious but also rich and heavy!

Oy! Everything is huge and tasty, but is it healthy? Who cares??? The ‘o’ in Oy is for overindulgence!

Very nice addition to Smyrna. HUGE pancakes that are also incredibly fluffy and delicious. It gets busy, but they’re pretty good at making sure you find a table. The food comes out quickly, too, which helps. One gripe: Bad coffee. I get it because I need coffee, and because I remain hopeful it’ll taste better. I would love if they changed their coffee vendor(cough Batdorf and Bronson cough). Friendly staff.

Oh boy! This place right here was so good. I found this place on Unilocal a few months ago and finally got a chance to check them out. They give you a ridiculous amount of food that could easily be split between 2 – 3 people. I got the blueberry pancake and the cheesesteak omelet. The 3 of us couldn’t even finish one pancake so keep that in mind when ordering. The food is reasonably priced as well I paid $ 13 for my omelet and around $ 10 for the pancake. But like I said you can easily split it between 3 people. There isn’t a lot of tables here but there wasn’t a wait. The parking is a little tight in the plaza because of the other establishments that are open as well. I give this place 5 stars. I will be returning :)

Visited Oy! again. Tablet obsessed hostess was not there. Allie took great care of us. There were a few hiccups, my lunch buddy ordered a philly cheesesteak not realizing it was an omelet, so he ordered a burger to replace it. Totally our fault, but Allie graciously replaced it. He requested his burger well-done, but it was pink when it arrived at our table. My cheddar cheese burger was good — a little salty, but I enjoyed it. Fries were excellent — just like before! I’ll definitely be back.

What a fantastic brunch place! I ordered the red velvet pancakes, my friend ordered the bacon pancakes, & my husband ordered the southwest style omelet. All three were amazing & the staff was awesome! Definitely going back

Holy gluttonous goodness! I’ve had Oy several times now, both take-out and dine-in, and it’s a great addition to the area. There are no pretenses about gluttony here — from the 6 egg omelettes(yes, you can get a half order) to the full pound of fries, to the monstrous pancakes, to the obscene Challah and Egg Soufflé, which my wife got yesterday and deemed delicious but too rich — she could only finish about 1⁄3 of it. As a guideline, wifey and I can split a whole omelette and a mountain of fries, and there’s enough for 2 or 3 more meals left over(so don’t be deterred by seemingly high prices). Note: I have no sweet tooth, so I haven’t tried the pancakes. They look great, though. The Good: –The Omelette options — so many ways to go here. My favorites are the Philly and the«Diet» omelette(Ham, bacon, certified Angus steak, onions, mushrooms, cheddar cheese & smothered with queso). –The Mountain of fries — The Greek is my favorite, but you can’t go wrong here. Want to try the Nuclear, but wifey doesn’t do hot. Be advised, the Mountain of Fries is enormous. It’s more than a meal by itself. –The Challah and Cheese soufflé is absolutely delicious, but as wifey discovered, it’s very rich. –Haven’t tried the burger since right after they opened, but it was good. Not great, but good. The less good: –While I thoroughly enjoy the omelettes, they are consistently over-cooked. An omelette shouldn’t be brown on the outside(every omelette picture posted here shows what I mean). I’m cutting them some slack here because 1. It’s tough to cook a 6 egg omelette all the way through without overcooking the outside(although the 3 egg omelettes aren’t better) and 2. It’s a pretty common issue in breakfast places turning orders over quickly. Unfortunately, eggs shouldn’t be cooked over high heat, but most restaurants do it for speed. –When dining in, the chairs are uncomfortable. –The parking lot is a debacle at peak times(Brunch/Lunch on weekends). –They are somewhat victims of their own success, and they don’t seem to quite have everything streamlined and running smoothly for the volume they’re doing just yet. All that said, I’m still a big fan of Oy. I definitely recommend the online ordering if you’re doing take-out, and prepare for a wait if you go at peak times(I’ve only been on weekends, so not sure how it is during the week).

Food is pretty good but since we walked in the door the woman with the bun was not very friendly. The girl who brought our food to the table slammed down and sped off. It’s unfortunate be said I love the story behind this place. Pay these girls to at least crack a smile!

The portions are very large. Food is very tasty. What a lovely begining to a meal as having memories of delicious food with your grandmother. Oy’s Grand mom greets you and tells you all about the specials on her menu. Good food, Good people, Fast and Efficient Can’t ask for much more.

Oy… I wanted to like you. My parents liked you. Their breakfast was gone in a flash(potato latkes and farmers omelette) but my stairmaster omelette was so seeped in butter that I actually couldn’t eat it. They took it back and made me another«without butter» and this one was even more oily than the first. Kinda defeats the purpose of the egg whites, huh? Maybe next time I’ll just order the pancakes…

Ok Oy, I think you’re slowly making me like Brunch now. Usually, I’m not a fan of Breakfast/Brunch in general since eggs, milk, and cheese make me really sick. Sad, I know. I would say this place is a 5/5, but I … have only gone to like 3 brunch places so far in life. But Oy is my #1 choice. Been to Oy a few times now — each time was full of delicious food, great company, and solid service. Like… I was so surprised at how the staff did so well when they were S L A M M E D! Parking — They do have a parking lot, but damn, it gets really crowded. Oy shares the lot with Marlow’s Tavern, a Dessert Shop, Nail Shop, and etc. Spots are tricky, just be patient! Space — I would say medium. They definitely have a line out the door during normal Brunch times. I highly recommend you reserving a few tables if you know your party is big. The first time I went — the owner, Adam, was generous enough to do so… even when they had 4985845445 people waiting to be served and taken car of. Bonus point. Service — 5⁄5. Each staff member I’ve talked to or has helped my table were very polite & consistent. The owner, Adam, is also a solid guy. Food — Come hungry. Each meal is HUGE. Worth the money you pay for sure. I should note: their«regular» pancake is a size of a pizza. No lie. I saw someone do a to go for it and Oy uses a pizza to go box. It’s hilarious. For folks with smaller stomachs, go for the Kiddy size one — which is actually a normal sized pancake. Chocolate Chip Pancake — The batter they use tastes REALLY good. Almost like crack. The batter wasn’t your normal«make it at home» batter,…they must have added something. The texture is also sweet, smooth, and melts in your mouth. I love chocolate chip and they didn’t skimp out on it. Regular Cheeseburger — This wasn’t that greasy. I didn’t feel bad after I ate it, haha. It was good. Better than your typical burger joint. Almost a step or 2 up. Sundae that’s worth 10 bucks — GETIT. But I would advise you to have at least 4 – 5 people. The thing has like 3 – 5(?) scoops of ice cream, 2 huge cookies, syrup, 3 cherries. #heaven My friends have had the mountain of fries… it’s 2lbs guys. Can anyone finish that!?!

We had been warned of the huge portion sizes so we ordered for a diet omelette, turns out its is quite contrary to that :) where we replaced the cheese with spinach. A good decision since the spinach added the diet back in the omelet. It has Angus, ham and bacon in a gooey Centre. We ordered for a side of the Challah bread, came with a grape jam. I was looking forward to the egg soufflé but we were full to the brim with just an omelette between us. Next time for sure!!! Service time was excellent. We hardly waited more then 5 – 7 minutes… The place was fairly busy… Lots of families with kids. NOTE: The omelette is served in a pizza platter. That should give u an idea of the portion size ;)

There are a couple things I use to rate breakfast spots. The first is fruit. If you’re going to be a solid breakfast spot you have to give me more than grapes and cantaloupe as a fruit side. Second is how eggs and omelettes are prepared. I ordered the stair master omelette that’s just egg whites, spinach, mushrooms and some cheese. The omelettes here are HUGE so I was really excited. I could barely eat it it was so runny and greasy. In the picture you can see the butter and grease pooling off of it. Not good at all My mom got the French toast and it was AMAZING. They use challah bread and it’s covered in syrup and powdered sugar. Really good and an oversize portion. I also really liked the sweet potato hash. This is a good spot for a family because you can order one thing and feed about 4 people. It’s more of a diner feel and you can get breakfast or lunch food all day long which is nice!!! Sometimes you just need a burger at 10 am

I must say, Oy! left me pleasantly surprised. I decided to meet a wonderful group of locals here for brunch. I arrived early and stood in line — I guess the normal protocol is that you order and pay for your food then have a seat and your order is brought to you. It was a particularly busy time so the wait in line was longer than I anticipated but worthwhile since I had the time to read the menu, the specials and all of the cool writings on the wall. I’ll admit, while in line and reading the prices I thought things were a bit over priced and the menu was very limited but I wasn’t going to let that deter me… then I turned towards the people who were already seated and watched as these super huge pancakes(think large round pizza) and omelets arrived at the various tables. This was the moment that I knew I need to order the kiddie size. I tried the kiddie pumpkin spice pancake(think medium round pizza) and the kiddie veggie omelet(might have been a half dozen eggs in this thing). The food was very, very good — everything came out hot, correct and in decent time. Our servers were pretty cool. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Oy! does it right! Breakfast, brunch and lunch and that’s it. When we walked in the door we were immediately greeted by a friendly young woman who handed us menus and began explaining how the restaurant worked. The menu has many variations of omelets, pancakes, and burgers, and challah French toast and an egg casserole, and the portions are super sized: 6 egg omelets, pancakes the size of pizzas, and humongous burgers, all meant to be shared. You can request a 3 egg omelet. We were then met by a very nice gentleman who was the owner and guided us to order at the the cashier then take a table and the food would be delivered. When we got our food we were amazed! We ordered for the three of us a blueberry pancake, a bacon pancake, two sides of scrambled eggs and a side of bacon. I don’t know what they did to the eggs but they were the best eggs ever! The pancakes were indeed the size of pizzas but were light and fluffy and oh so good. Several times one of the friendly servers would check in on us to make sure there was nothing we needed. We couldn’t finish all the food so almost half of one pancake came home with us. All in all a very positive dining experience, one we hope to try again next time we’re in Atlanta

Oy! is the sound you make as you walk out the door after emptying your plate. They’re not kidding when they say«Overindulgent Yumminess». It is definitely yummy… and decadent… and delicious… and so-good-you-want-to-eat-more-but-are-afraid-you’ll-explode-if-you-eat-one-more-bite! I love that this is a local business with a local story and the last time I was there, the lady who created the Challah French Toast Casserole recipe was in line waiting to be served as well. I thought that was awesome! Btw… the challah french toast casserole… to die for! I was also very happy to see they had delicious milk shakes. There are no good places in the Vinings area that serve milk shakes, so that made me very happy. I will definitely be back!

Oy! seemed promising for a late lunch/brunch. Service is great and all, but there were a few things I didn’t like about this brunch place. Cons: — Their service model is that you order at the front and then find a seat. Ugh, I dislike establishments like these because during peak times, if all tables/chairs are taken, are you supposed to stand and eat? C’mon. — Maybe this is a problem with the Unilocal listing which says reservations aren’t taken. And yet, when I got there, there were 2 tables that said«Reserved.» We ended up asking permission to occupy those tables. Again, this doesn’t really work with the order-at-the counter service model. — Overpriced. $ 10.79 for a Juicy Lucy burger. The burger was small and didn’t even include fries. In my honest opinion, this was way too overpriced. — I kinda dislike establishments that use pizza pans as plates as these pans tend to spin while on the table. I’m probably just being picky here. Pros: — They do a decent job of making you feel«at home.» Mama Sherry isn’t as old as the pictures make her look and she’s definitely walking around, talking to and taking care of customers. — At the time I arrived, they were handing out peanut butter bars as a complimentary dessert. I ordered the French Toast Casserole since I was feeling like eating something sweet. For good measure, the boyfriend and I also shared a huge plate of Classic fries so I had something salty to balance out the sweet. The casserole is definitely unique and my favorite parts were the sides and top where it was crispy. The casserole is drowned in caramel sauce and powdered sugar. The serving was definitely too large for me to finish. French fries were decent. They’re a little thicker than what you may be used to but they’re not quite steak fries. They do have choices where the fries are topped with sauces, cheese and other toppings, but it seemed a bit much for us. You can expect a pizza pan containing 2.5 lbs of fries starting at 8.99. The boyfriend was mum about the Juicy Lucy burger. I felt bad for him because it seemed like a normal burger. Seriously, this burger sits alone on a plate without fries. There wasn’t really anything spectacular about this burger. I wouldn’t recommend it. Overall verdict, this place is just a novelty of showcasing gigantic pancakes and they do well with things catered to those with an extreme sweet tooth. They serve big omelettes there too to make it an actual«brunch» place in addition to pancakes, but I think I’d rather go to Marlow’s Tavern next door for their brunch buffet.

I like Oy!!! After reading all the reviews of my fellow Unilocalers, I was excited to try this place! We arrived around 11ish for brunch, there were only 2 other people dining in, so we took our time to review the menu thoroughly. Prices were a little steep, but we finally settled on a couple of omelettes(no table service). I order The Diet, which is a 6 egg omelet, it includes ham, bacon, steak, mushrooms & onion, its cover in queso & my friend order the Philly cheese steak omelette with a side of toast. Everything was really good, my omelette was load with meat, but it was more then we could eat at one setting. So we ended up taking the rest to go. The menu includes burgers and loaded fries, also pancakes and omelettes… The cashier says they serve all items, all day! So yes, you can have a burger for breakfast if you like. They also have Arden’s Garden beverages at this place. On my way out my friend noticed the French toast plate, they were huge… So maybe we can share a French toast plate the next time around.

Tried their burger today around 2pm. My patty and fries came out fast and It was much much quieter ;-) I opted to get lettuce wraps than the buns because their fries are just huge. It was a delicious big burger. Lil me ate the whole hamburger — mm mm mm good! People are finding out about this place… b/c Atlanta Eats was here at the same time sampling the goods. Definitely a good option to Grub. Oy! Is located in the Marlow’s shopping center on Cumberland Parkway.
