Service is outstanding. Food incredible. Although this is a newer development the inside of this pub has a historical feel to it. Kid friendly and the menu has a great variety. We’ll definitely return.

This is a great Irish pub in Atlanta. Great atmosphere, with great food. I had the spicy chicken biscuits from the brunch menu and a cup of the Guiness onion soup. Both were perfect.

My Irish eyes are smiling… Located in Town Brookhaven is an amazing pub. The only thing missing is the Blarney Stone. Beer, Scotch and Bourbon selections all top notch. Food quality and preparation top notch. Bartenders and staff all friendly and helpful. Outdoor seating and a crazy cool inside build-out. PS. You gotta have the chili

Not often I get out for lunch so when teammates suggested OBD I had to give it a try. The décor is great. Not exactly authentic according to my travels in Ireland but adds a lot of character to the experience. The cheese dip app with pretzel bread was very good. I tried the blue cheese and chips. Ok but didn’t taste any blue cheese. Really liked and appreciated the lunch portion fish and chips. Would have done the Irish Breakfast but it didn’t come in a lunch portion and they want to charge you extra for the pudding which is part of what makes the entrée great.

First time here… phenomenal atmosphere and the staff is top shelf. I sat at the bar and had the pleasure of Nomi working the bar. He understands customer service and is one of the best bartenders i have come across. The food is «off the hook» and was an unexpected surprise. If you are in Atlanta you MUST stop in for a draft and stay awhile…

Really enjoyed our trip this weekend to the Olde Blind Dog. When you walk in you’ll notice the ornate Irish décor. Some would say it’s trying a bit hard, and others would say it’s spot on. I would lean toward the latter. Nothing wrong with a little more effort than throwing up Smithwick’s banners and neon Guinness lights. On a Sunday afternoon around 1 it was pretty sparse. Space at the bar was easy to find, but most seats were taken. Doesn’t seem like much of a place to watch sports as there’s only a couple of TVs, one at each end of the bar. Not necessarily a bad thing depending on what you’re looking for. Doesn’t seem like a place you take kids. Our bartender, Evan, was very helpful and friendly, introducing himself when we sat down. He provided great service and kept a close eye on our drinks the whole time. The menu is fairly extensive for a pub. Lots of appetizer options, lots of sandwiches and small plates. We actually tried a couple of items off the Sunday brunch menu, and both were delicious. My wife custom ordered some corned beef and a side of poached eggs with hollandaise and they were perfect. I stole some of the corned beef, and it is delicious, more steak-like and not the thin slices that are prone to drying out. I had the spicy chicken biscuits, which weren’t very Irish at all admittedly, but may have been some of the best chicken biscuits and gravy I’ve had in my few years living down south. We will be back, and it’s nice to know there’s another bar around here that serves decent food in a friendly, clean environment.

This is a real Irish pub, not a facsimile. I enjoyed trying the various drinks and cuisine. Nice after work spot. Something different to break up the monotony.

Great service and cool authentic irish pub, however manager Dan completely ruined my experience as well as everyone else’s within my party. Wish his selfishness of not taking his customers into consideration hadn’t effected our mood and entire perspective of the place… will not be going back solely based on Dan and his lack of customer service.

Great pub in the heart of Town Brookhaven. Love the real Irish feel. Always busy on weekends and during soccer time. The food is really good here, service is always great, crowd is full of locals and a mix of people throughout the Atlanta area.

This pub’s got character for sure! The decorations in this place is really cool and imitates a «street view.» There are little hidden pockets where people could sit and hangout. We had a huge group so they had a room for us(plus a sliding door for noise). The service here is great, they designated two waitresses to our group who kept up with all the drink orders that were flying out the door as well as our food orders. Kudos to these ladies! We had the fries with curried sauce and sausages for starters — yum! I also ordered the meat loaf sandwich which was recommended by lots of Unilocalers. The meatloaf was juicy and hearty — you can definitely taste the lamb in this(don’t order it if you don’t like the gamey taste). The food was great, but really heavy so I recommend sharing. Overall, we had a great night celebrating a friend’s birthday without too much stress on the bill splitting madness!

Come here way to often, usually with 6 – 8 people since it’s our go to pub despite it being a bit of a drive. It’s location is in Brookhaven and nearby so many restaurants that make it easy to access and very convenient. Don’t know if they have a hostess though, because we often enter and just wait around for about 10 minutes as servers run around with no one to seat us. There’s a variety of seating places, they even have upstairs and a little private booth downstairs that can seat about 6 – 8 people. The outside is great for summer and fall and being as loud as you want. Service is always friendly and enjoyable. We mostly get appetizers and drinks since we usually come here after a hearty meal. I’m a big mojito fan and they make it just how I like it, more mint and lime than alcohol. We order the cheese fries and wings and I’m not kidding when I say we race each other mercilessly for a piece. Safe to say this place has easily become a staple for enjoying food, drinks and good company for me.

I can see why the Olde Blind Dog won best Irish bar in America. The ambiance is spot on and they have the beer selection to boot. The menu is also quite extensive and everything we sampled was quite good. The place is rather small, so seating can be tight. Overall, a great place to grab a drink, watch a game or just get some good bar food.

Based on the beer selection, the delicious food, and the close proximity to my home, I may just have to move into the Olde Blind Dog. According to the sheer amount of Reuben sandwiches that I have eaten in my life, trust me when I tell you that OBD’s version is top-notch. There are many cold beers on tap and several solid local craft brews available. The staff is friendly, and the décor will have you feel like you have been transported to a magical place called Dublin. Cheers, Olde Blind Dog, you are my new favorite hangout.

Perfect atmosphere for a relaxed pub vibe while still getting fantastic food(not your average bar food) from plenty of menu options. There are, of course, many Irish classics on the menu, as well as several other more standard Americanized soups/entrees/desserts. Personally, I think I have yet to try anything other than the pulled short-rib on top of jalapeño cornbread topped with slaw and fried onion strings… magnifique! Service here has always been friendly and fast. I’ve also walked in and ordered food-to-go while waiting at the bar with a beer, so that option is always on the table if you live nearby. Other reviews are on-point regarding unique décor, and the space is broken up nicely to have more intimate tables in the back for dining, versus a couple of community high-tops surrounding the bar, befitting a larger group more focused on the ale. Also several table options out front if the weather is nice.

I was excited to try this place since I had heard good things for a lot of people. And while I will say there were a lot of good beer options, I struggled to find a good option for food for dinner. I settled on the Monte Christo since that is not a sandwich you see on menus very often. And as much as I was anticipating eating it, I did not end up finishing it. The bread and jelly were very good but the meat on the sandwich did not live up to my expectations.

Great place for drinks and truly great for groups. The interior of Olde Blind Dog is like a small(presumably) Irish village(I’ve never to Ireland, but I’d imagine that ‘s what it would be like). There’s a house in the middle where you can eat either on the first or the second level. A few small tables are on the inside of the restaurant. Adjoining the main area are individual rooms that feel like small taverns. The small«tavern» areas can hold a large number of people(~15). Supposedly, the walls were taken from a European king’s hotel room from long ago. Not sure if this is actually true, but the hand carved walls do add to the décor. Most food items are good and some are outstanding. My group ordered the majority of the Irish classics. I sampled the bangers and mash, the shepherd’s pie, the Celtic curry, Irish stew, corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips, meatloaf, and the ale-braised short rib sandwich. My two favorites were the Celtic curry and the short rib sandwich. I also liked the fish and chips, bangers and mash, and the meatloaf. Great portion sizes for all of the dishes. The soups can be salty, so make sure to eat soda bread with them. Corned beef and cabbage was okay. The beef was lean, but I like corned beef at other places better. Of the desserts, the bread pudding is definitely the best. Save room for it. Free parking is plentiful in the garage outside. If you want a unique pub experience with tasty Irish food, this is a great place to go to in Atlanta.

I was a little skeptical. The name is just too cute. The interior looks like a Disney set for an Irish pub. The waiter didn’t have a trace of an Irish accent but he called my mom«darlin’» and called me «boss.» Too much. But it was a cold Saturday afternoon and we were there. To my surprise the food was very good. Mom had fish and chips. The batter was crisp and fish tasty. The chips were crispy and came with house-made ketchup. And mom loved the cole slaw. I had a meatloaf sandwich. The meatloaf was made of lamb and it came topped with caramelized onion and sriracha ketchup and was accompanied by very good sautéed spinach. For dessert we split a brownie with ice cream. It was a huge brownie right out of the oven with a molten chocolate interior. If you like chocolate, don’t miss it. My only complaint, darlin’, was the temperature. The locale has a two-story interior and must be hard to heat. It was cold inside. We moved away from the door and into a booth to get away from the draft but it was still too cold. Darlin’.

This place is fricken adorable. We came here for drinks after getting dinner at Noche next door but I wish we had food here instead! The menu’s options looked appetizing even if it was just«bar food.» Once you’re inside, each table /area is like a little section of «town»… I’m such a sucker for things like this!(see my Shoya post). They had an immense beer selection and some good local brews as well. They also have a full bar. Will def come back to try the food though!

Had an opportunity to make a virtual friend a reality, so I wasn’t going to miss out. We met up at Olde Blind Dog to grab a pint and some food before we got back on the road to head home. From the outside, this pub didn’t really look like it was that big, but once inside it was quite expansive. We saw our buddy at the bar, so we pulled up some stools and perused the brew list. We weren’t too hungry as we had eaten brunch earlier that morning, but wanted something in our bellies. On their brunch menu, they have a Spicy Chicken Biscuits & Gravy and since we had 10 minutes left before they stopped serving brunch, we dug right in. The dish came out and it was purrrrdy. It was perfect for sharing as there was two biscuit halves each with their own chicken breast. For not being hungry, we surprisingly ate every bit on the plate. Next time we’re in the ATL we might really look at staying in Brookhaven. It’s a really cute area and knowing this would be in the perimeter, I’d be happy.

This place has some of the best looking and best tasting food I’ve ever seen in a pub! Everyone around me, including myself, was extremely happy with their meal selection. We made a reservation for 30 for an alumni event and everything turned out perfect! The pub gave us our own private, smaller room which included a big screen television displaying a live Braves game. We all had a great time! We had 2 waitresses that helped take care of our large group and they did a fine job. I had the Short Rib Quesadilla which tasted fantastic! It’s an appetizer so it doesn’t come with a side but it’s definitely enough food so you wouldn’t need to order anything else. Three people around me ordered the Bangers and Mash and they were beautifully displayed and tasted great! They included three bangers(look like brats) and mashed potatoes with fried shoestring onions. The drinks are average priced and some of the beers were surprisingly low in price as well. I recommend this pub to small or large groups of people, whether you’re watching a sporting event or enjoying a beverage. It’s a great place to go!
