This place was a little generic, but totally tasty! I’ve been wanting to stop by ever since I moved into the area, and I finally had the chance to tonight. The décor is nice — sort of like somebody’s loft apartment. Steel and brick and stuff everywhere. The cashier was really friendly to us and was happy to explain one of the salads to my companion when he wasn’t sure what he wanted. The food was almost totally delicious. My only complaint was that the tomatoes in my cucumber salad were really yucky and leathery. But the rest of the cucumber salad was good — a hint of spice, which was nice. My companion and I both ordered the Choose Two meal, which is a great deal. It’s like $ 6 for a half pasta and a half salad(or soup, but that seemed like a waste). Even though I had a half portion, I still had to take some of it home. It was plenty of food! I got the Southwest Chipotle noodles, and they were delicious. The sauce was a hair on the generic side(it reminded me of a dish I got at the Cheesecake Factory once), but had a nice spice to it as well. My salad, tomatoes aside, was very fresh and yummy, with just the right amount of dressing. I can’t hold the tomatoes(in the salad) against them, though — they just tasted like off-season tomatoes, which isn’t exactly the restaurant’s fault. My companion got the Triple Cheese macaroni, which was good but not really my thing(«triple cheese» just sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen). He also got the mozzarella bread, which was AMAZING. I had to stop myself from eating all of them. The mozzarella had kind of fused with the bread, and each bite was all just one moist delicious cheesy mouthful. YUM. I’ve had mozzarella bread where you take a bite and the lump of cheese slides right out of the bread, leaving you with a plain hollow bread shell… and nobody wants a plain hollow bread shell! But this bread, it was just fantastic. I will definitely be back. This place is less than a mile away from my house, delicious(if a bit generic), and reasonably priced. Sounds like a winner to me.

I love this place. The food is good. The owner and manager(Jesse) treats me like family. On my birthday, Jesse actually sneaked up on me with a delectable slice of chocolate cake after my meal. Their pad thai is addictive, and they’ve got the best cheesy bread in town. Some reviewers have complained that they’re overpriced, but the portions are generous, and the restaurant runs coupons frequently. Plus, this is Roswell Road in Sandy Springs — not a cheap place to do business or find ANY restaurant that’s cheap but good. This is my study /writing /reading /comfort food hangout. Love it!

In my very first Unilocal review I was extremely irritated about someone trying to tell me what level of heat I can and can’t handle. When it comes to some cashier in a counter service noodle restaurant, 98 reviews later, you better believe you are getting the same sort of review… difference is that was a Thai restaurant, where I had better be having spicy food, and this is just some chain noodle place. If some of these noodles weren’t absolutely delicious, I’d go with one star, but I am still feeling nice post-birthday. SPICY Japanese Noodles. I would first say don’t even bother ordering this because there is nothing Japanese about it beyond udon and a packet of soy sauce. Stick with the dishes that fall under American. The Southwest Chipotle noodles are actually really good, and if I ever find that I need to have them again, then I guess I’ll come back. Anyway, you can choose your spice level for the noodle bowls with chili peppers next to them on the menu. I said extra spicy. Our lovely cashier turns to look at not me, but my boyfriend, over me saying this. Oh sorry is this 1910 and he is supposed to approve of my every food decision? LOOKBACKOVERHERE. Actually, don’t even dare glare at me about«are you sure?» when I have to douse the noodles with sriracha upon tasting the NOT spicy sauce, which by the way made this actually taste good. The sauce was way too sweet to begin with. It really is overpriced for what you get considering you’ll probably stand at a counter waiting for ten minutes because somebody has to keep asking questions in front of you. For the same price you could probably create most if not all, with a protein of sorts, for several people, if you had the time. Of course this place is so fast that generally you’re going there because of that.

The noodles were legit! I had a great time ordering was easy and the food came reasonably quickly. It felt like a chuck e cheese meets a bar. There were tons of kids and frat boys drinking beers an interesting combination. I had the Shrimp Pasta and it was great. It really is like a fast food Italian restaurant. This appealed to me because it seems revolutionary. I will go back and I do suggest that people give it a try. The quality of the food will not disappoint for the price you pay.

They offered asian noodles, but I stuck the typical pasta dishes. Glad i did, cuz my co-worker’s pad thai look like shit. But, i’m here to rate my dish… pesto pasta with meat balls. Cheap, and fast… good place for lunch time.

07⁄16 Santa Fe with steak this time. The food and service was consistent with previous visits. We ate outside as the weather was surprisingly nice for this time of year, and because the hard surfaces of the interior create an echo chamber. That isn’t normally an issue, but there were several children acting their age. I don’t fault them and they weren’t unruly — I simply had a very long, hard, stressful day that had lowered my tolerance threshold. Their pasta did much to help that.

Met a friend here for lunch today. My noodle dish was good(thai peanut), service was friendly, even brought our orders out to the patio and brought out hot sauce to try with my dish. Good variety on the menu. I’d been here before, probably 2+ years ago, similar experience in that it was good, but not really like I wanted to put it on my rotation. Maybe with today’s experience and seeing a coupon in today’s mail, I’ll be more open-minded on that and give NBN the benefit of the doubt with a bump to 4 stars and some repeat business in the near future. Consider yourself on my rotation now. Nice day to be on the patio – maybe that influenced my rating too!

It’s no Doc Chey, but the one that used to be around the corner closed. Read what you will into that. But it is A-OK. I’ll occasionally wander off and try something else, but I never leave quite as happy when I get the spicy Japanese udon noodle bowl. I can’t recommend the Primavera, but otherwise it’s hard to go wrong.

Lenee and Kathleen hit it right on the head– Nothing but Noddles is consistent(Lenee) and it is a great place to go when craving carbs(Kathleen). While nothing here tastes spectacular it is always consistently good and it always fills my noodle craving. I generally get the pad thai, which by the way is not near as good as pad thai at Thai restaurants, with tofu. For some reason I crave this dish here, despite the lack of authenticity. I always get it with extra bean sprouts and they have sriracha to pour on. FYI the bowl is large. I have had the southwestern creamy cheese bowl too and that was mighty tasty, only I hate to think of the amount of calories this dish contains. All in all lots of choices filled with delicious noodles makes this a place that I go when PMSing. LOL just kidding

If you’re looking for a quick bit to eat(and I don’t mean McD), insert 5.95 + tax = half salad and half pasta or half soup. Perfect Lunch. Nom Nom Nom

I could see this place being great if I lived or worked nearby. I mean, who doesn’t love noodles? Plus, the menu is varied enough(noodles with Asian, Italian, and American influences) to keep things interesting. For me, the food was okay. I had a the sundried tomato«salad.» I’m not sure how the salad differed from the noodle bowl, as this one had quite a good bit of farfalle. And spinach, parmesan, sundried tomatoes, and walnuts. They were a little heavy handed on the dressing, but all in all it was a nice, light-ish meal. As others have said, nothing to trek out of your way for, but if you’re craving some carb goodness and want something quick, it’ll do.

Consistency is key. And this place is consistent! Sometimes I just say to myself«man I want some pasta.» And then I head straight to Nothing But Noodles and stock up. They have different types of pasta: American, Thai, Southwestern, etc. It’s not going to be the BEST representative of its class, but it’s good, consistent, pasta. Good to-go food. Just do it!

I’ve been here twice. The food is decent, but like most of the rest of the reviews suggest, its not worth going out of your way for. However reviewer Charles R. is way off base claiming Mama Fu’s is better than this place. I’ve eaten cardboard boxes with more flavor than anything Mama Fu’s serves. Anyway, today my wife and I just happened to be heading through Sandy Springs and this seemed like the best option for lunch for two people under $ 20. I had the Santa Fe pasta with Chicken, and I enjoyed it enough to take my leftovers home for later. My wife ordered an asian noodle dish(forget which) and it was served in a bowl with a wedge of a head of lettuce and tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. I’ve never seen an asian dish served with cheese, let alone in the same bowl.

Enough with the raving reviews about this place. It is not deserved. This is not a bad restaurant but certainly not worth going out of your way to visit. The first time I actually ate at Nothing But Noodles was in Portland, OR. Yup. it is a national chain. And all of the restaurants serve those weird sticks of bread in their dishes. Why do they give you those? Is it to stand out from all the other noodle joints? They taste like I imagine actual sticks from trees taste. And they don’t go with the dishes. Who ever heard of asian food served with bread? Maybe I am just not culturally experienced enough to know. They do serve italian and other ethnic inspired pasta dishes… but I can’t imagine those sticks tasting good in any scenario. This place has an overwhelming feel of a fast food restaurant. The floors that always seem to have the yellow“wet floor” sign kind of feel. And the staff that you know doesn’t have any interest in cousin but just works there to pay the rent. Regardless of this some of the dishes are pretty tasty and I feel safe in saying nothing here is going to be an outright disappointment.(since I’m sure each dish has been groomed by constant screening and research to appeal to each type of taste) I recommend either of the 2 asian peanut flavored noodle dishes. To sum up I would say that this place is good for a try. You may inexplicably love it like some other reviewers on this site seem to. But in general this is just an average place with average food. If you are going for the cheap noodle bowl thing I would recommend Noodle or Mama Fu’s over this place. Or you could always try a REAL restaurant.

Do you know I will drive 20 minutes just to partake in Nothing But Noodle’s carbohydrate bliss? It’s a small price to pay(well not really when I’m paying $ 3 a gallon) for their Three Cheese Macaroni with some added chicken or beef. When I was in college I would frequent Noodles & Company, which is pretty much the same concept and food but with a different name and a few pennies cheaper. Both restaurants offer bowls of American, Italian and Asian-style noodle entrees that you may add chicken, beef, tofu or shrimp to. However, Nothing But Noodles gives you really tasty garlic breadsticks with your meal. Hallelujah to the carb gods! Friends and family have tried their southwestern-style noodles, beef stroganoff, yakisoba and pad thai. Oh, I almost forgot about their tasty lettuce wraps. All have never been disappointed and no lone noodle(whether it be short and spiral, long and slurpy or fashionably bow-tied) has ever been left in the bowl. This is a good place to take a date, the family or to pick up some dinner when you don’t feel like cooking. The service is always fast, friendly and they’ll throw in an extra bread stick for free. Besides, no matter how old you get, you’ll never get tired of a good bowl of mac and cheese :) It’s definitely worth the drive.

If you happen to be anywhere in the Perimeter Mall, Dunwoody, Sandy Spring shoot even Buckhead area this restaurant is a must try. Other than being one of my absolute flavorful favorites I’d have to say its not only a good place to stop and catch your breathe but a great safe haven from the hustle and bustle of its surrounding area. Most important to any restaruant is the flavor and richness of its food. Id dare to say that nothing but noodles will NEVER disapoint. There’s one sure fire way to descrbe the food experience… Flavor flavor & more flavor. No matter if its just you, a friend or a group there’ll be comfortable seating for all. Lunch, dinner or otherwise the food is ample & deliscious! Your food choices originate from different cultures like Italian, Asian and I guess traditional Greek. Probably one of the things I like best is that you can add any meat(chicken, beef or shrimp) to any dish. My personal favorite is the primavera cappelini. With outdoor seating, wifi, beer and other basic alchohol plus a friendly staff. «Noodles» has all the ingredients to be one of your favorite places to eat. I love to stop by for lunch or after work, bring my laptop(free wifi), eat and watch a show on my laptop. Go check them out for yourself I’m sure you’ll enjoy…

I went here expecting an inexpensive pasta dinner and that’s just what I got. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Their half and half menu is great. For $ 5.99 you can get a half salad and half pasta bowl, which was a perfect portion for me. The salads are really nice and I’ve been ordering the pad thai for my noodle dish. It’s been delicious every time. I’ve had Noodles & Co. in the past back home in Michigan, which is pretty good, but this place blows it out of the water. You’ll be very pleased so long as you go expecting a sub-$ 10 pasta dinner.

Just noodles is a nice little spot for all noodle lovers. If you love noodles and find yourself eating them more than average than this is your nirvana. I personally loovvveee noodles, but my dilemma is that sometimes I just get tired of eating them in the basic traditional way in which they are served whether it’s Italian pasta’s or Udon. It usually ends in me wishing someone would be creative and come up with a few nice lively recipes to make me remember why I love noodles. Nothing But Noodles have done exactly this! They have a variety of different categories of noodles reinvented to create some pretty fine dinning. No matter what type of noodles you prefer I’m pretty sure they have something for you. Surprisingly the prices are good and most dish’s are in between a 5 – 7 dollar price range. They tend to get a little pricer once you start choosing a meat to go along with your noodles, but nothing to crazy. They also offer dishes for people who may not be in a noodle mood. The food seems to come out in a decent amount of time and is made to order. The portions are pretty good as well, so get ready to start slurping on some very delish noodles.
