I don’t get the hype. It was quite pricey, and the items didn’t seem particularly special. I can’t imagine encountering a ‘great find’ here. Also, you don’t have much of a choice. The handbags, etc are as-is, meaning the display items. Most of them were kind of shabby or looked worn out.

Walked in and circled the store, I passed 4 employees who did not greet nor ask if I needed assistance. The customer service here sucks!

Right off Peachtree Road, across the street from Phipps Plaza and on the side of Target, is this new store. They have been open since October 2014. The store focuses on woman having items for them at about 65% of the store. For men, there are some pants, shirts, and sweaters but not many accessories. It is designed to be a boutique, somewhere in between the classic Neiman Marcus and the discounted last chance, I mean last call store. The discounts are not as good as Last Call, but not as high as the classic store. It is a nice size store with entrances from the street and the parking deck. My customer service experience was solid. I was approached 2 or 3 times asking if I needed help. Typical, most of the clothes for men are«Slim Fit». I can’t fit that shit. An XL fits like a large, tappered in the arms and sides. It’s hit or miss for me.

I have never buy anything from Last call. Finally placed my first(and it will be the last) order for some picture frames online on Nov 18, received part of the order on Dec 4 and the rest is still not here yet. It is so aggravating! To be fair, my orders from Neiman Marcus have always arrived in less than 5 business days. Last Call is a far cry from NM! Anyway, the items came way too late and I decided to return those frames today. The staff behind the counter was super rude. I said hi to him, he seemed so unhappy, no hi back. It is like the whole world owes him something. There is zero customer service in this fellow. Oh yeah, Neiman Marcus Last Call may be for the commoners but this staff forgot he is just another commoner like us. I do not even get that kind of snootiness at Neiman Marcus. He was extremely agitated to be there and I am dead sure I was not the cause. Of cos there is no thank you or anything from this idiot.(Oh yeah, I am getting mad just by remembering this guy’s whole demeanor). I hope this guy starts looking for a new job soon, he doesn’t belong to a workplace be it Last Call or the main store(God forbids he is so awful that someone hit him with a $ 60k birkin) or anywhere that needs even a tiny bit of customer service skill. I wish the staffs wear name tag so I can give him a nice shoutout here. Anyhow, Last Call is not for me, won’t be back!

Neiman Marcus Last Call Studio Store finally opened where Filene’s Basement used to be! It’s a smaller version of the Sugarloaf Mills store, hence the studio store. It may not have a huge selection of shoes and accessories, but there’s a good selection of higher-end clothes. Even for the first day of opening, there’s a 30% off of a lot of items!

I attended a shopping preview of the store today! I have never been to a Last Call store before. This is the first Last Call Studio in Atlanta. Emphasis on Studio which is why I guess the store is smaller than I thought it would be. There was a lot of merchandise crammed into the tiny space though! The racks of clothing, jewelry displays, tables with clothing neatly folded, made it difficult to walk around and shop comfortable! The store was packed and there were long lines for both the checkout and the fitting rooms, which had orange carpet! I did not see anything I was interested in purchasing. There was a lot of Stuart Weitzman, Michael Kors and other designer brands but the prices did not seem to me that much cheaper than regular retail. A lot of the merchandise looked like it was specifically made for Last Call. Like how the outlets have goods make only for the outlets. There is enough space for only one ladies restroom(no stalls) however they had free feminine products in the restroom. I was surprised about that because very few retail restrooms offer that and if they do you usually have to pay. I give this store four stars because the marketing team was very helpful and the staff was nice as well. I will definitely return to see if there is a larger selection of goods with more variety. The grand opening is at 10 A.M. tomorrow and according to the marketing rep I spoke with, one $ 50 gift card will be given away each hour until 5 P.M.
