Our flight arrived late so we stood for a cab to a nearby well known taxi from the airport. The taxi driver didn’t know where the hotel(less than a mile away) was so we were delayed leaving and he had to ask for directions and we had to google map the location for him. Before we left we asked if he accepted credit cards. He drove away and decided it would be 12 dollars to drive us one mile in the middle of the night with no traffic. The meter read 7 dollars and when we pulled out a card to pay him he gave us a huge attitude and demanded 12 dollars. Rude clueless driver that I would never ever take again. If this cab is first in line at the airport let someone else go in front of you and take another more reputable cab company.

We used National Cab Company on September 28, 2014 from downtown Atlanta to the airport. The driver’s license was due to expire in two days and the auto insurance had expired in June of 2014. The car was a ‘wreck’ but we made it. I would NOT recommend this company to others traveling from or to the Atlanta aiport. You will recognize the cabs as they are white and marked with«National Cab Company».

Cab 0327… Where do I start. First, the cab was gross and full of garbage. Then the driver tried to tell me that he had to drive me to buckhead when I live in L5P… Then he told me he wasn’t charging the standard flat fare from the airport of $ 32… THEN he tried to fool me into signing a blank credit card receipt(he handed a slip with my cards imprint on it, without a dollar amount so he could fill in at a later date). These guys are scammers. Don’t ride with them from the airport.

Cab Driver stated that the AMX receipt not available for processing on 3÷24÷2014 in Atlanta. Driver given $ 9 tip on $ 44 ride. Charge to AMX3 days later with a $ 13.50 Tip… What a Rip Off. Do not give these guys your business. They have no accounting process nor procedures to have cab driver note name or cab # on the receipt for recourse on this outrageous overcharge. $ 13.50 Tip on a $ 44 cab ride… BADCUSTOMERSERVICE

This is a story about how I had to call the police on a National Cab Company driver who threatened me. I travel 3 – 4 times a month out of Atlanta Hartsfield. When I get in late, I often take a cab. Tonight was one of those nights. I’d spent two hours on the tarmac(another story) and got a cab at the airport taxi stand. After driving me home, I presented the driver with my credit card for payment. He refused to take it. Not only did he refuse to take it but told me that this is what is wrong with«b*tches» like me. I point out the huge Visa/MC/AX sign in the car and that ALL taxis at the airport are required to take CC payments. I had even told the taxi stand officer that I was using a CC. The driver told me that it didn’t matter what the sign said. Then he commenced to yelling and cursing my entire life and lineage with a native pox on my house. At one point he – at 6’2200+ lbs — advances on me saying he will«take [my] damn card» and«drive me back to the airport». I clock in at 5“2 and NOT200 lbs. I had to RUN into my home. His car is parked directly in front of my door(see picture). I end up calling 911. As I waited for the police the driver paced outside my door alternately threatening me and screaming something I did not understand. When the officer arrived the driver magically produces a square cellphone credit card reader. I asked the officer for the driver’s taxi license. Initially the driver refused and then produced it. Then he became very angry about me taking an image of it. The officer had to tell him that I was within my rights because it was supposed to visible in the car(and wasn’t). Eventually I write down the license information for Joseph Equavoen with temp license number 86 issued through 9÷16÷14. I pay him using the same card he’d threatened to kick my a** over, filed a police report and have been unable to get anyone from the cab company on the phone. Horrifying, unnecessary, emotionally draining and now this crazy person knows where I live. I’m livid with the airport for licensing this company, the company for hiring this driver, and this fool for being a fool. I’d likely choose another cab company.

Horrible service. Involved police in fare dispute and jilted me out of $ 17.00 for a fare that legally should have been $ 12.00. Forget about this outfit and use a real cab company.

This guy Jimmy left us high and dry! Called him the night before for a 3pm pick up the next day for a 530 pm flight out of ATL. Not only did this guy not show up ATALL. he wouldn’t even answer his cell phone or return voice mail messages asking where he was? Luckily, we had a nice neighbor who gave us a lift to the airport and we made our flight. Never again!

The worst cab company I have ever encountered. I called for a cab and was told that it would arrive in 15 minutes. A half-hour goes by with no cab, and I call again. This time, I’m told that a taxi is on the way. An hour and fifteen minutes after I called, the cab still had not arrived. I used a different cab company to get home and contacted National Cab. At this point, it was 2 hours after I had called. The person on the other line did not care at all that a cab had not shown up. If you want to get somewhere and have any expectation of being picked up promptly, or if you actually need to get to your destination, don’t even bother. Frankly, I’m convinced that Mr. Jimmy Williams must have paid for the reviews below, because they are SO far from my experience.

I called at midnight for a 4:30am pick up from Roswell to the airport. Jimmy was on time, reasonably priced and very professional. I will definitely use his service every time I return to the area. Enough said!

Jimmy Williams has been driving us to and from the airport for the past few months now. No matter what day or time. He is very professional, has a clean cab, DOESNOTSMOKE and his cab never smells like cigarette unlike others. He has never let us down yet.

Jimmy Williams picked us up for an early flight(we left at 5:30am) from Atlanta. He was on time for the pickup, is a good guy and gave us great service in getting us to the airport early.

So many taxi drivers will think nothing of talking loudly on their mobile phones while you’re in their cab, could care less if the car stinks or if you’re on the verge of freezing or overheating. Jimmy Williams, however, is not one of these drivers. Jimmy Williams is a consummate professional who has been driving cabs in Atlanta for longer than I have been alive(seriously). His minivan is clean, he’s a joy to talk to and he’ll come pick you up anytime with a little advance notice. And since Atlanta’s not exactly a «cab on every corner» kind of town, knowing about Jimmy is valuable information. Especially if you want to get to the airport on time! One ride with him convinced me that the next time I need a ride in Atlanta I’ll be giving him a call.
