It was ok but nothing special. I’ve been once an probably won’t go back. They’re not bad but I just prefer Harry’s which is a little closer to my apartment. Mulberry’s is worth a try though.

Sad day. Mulberry St. pizza has shut down. Tried to order a pizza tonight only to find that they were closed with a «for lease» sign in the window. I’ll miss their white pizza! Hopefully something just as good moves in soon.

Service was slow for a Saturday, the pizza was not very good way to much sauce(that was very bland) not enough cheese. I prefer NY Pizza Exchange over this place.

It seems like everyone that works at this place is 17 — I have no idea who is in charge here. But you know what? I also worked at a pizza place when I was 17, and these guys make the best pizza around and they don’t charge too much for it. I order from here all the time, and I’ve never been disappointed.

Mulberry Street Pizza is actually on Cobb Pkwy. They should’ve just called it Cobb Pkwy Pizza. I don’t think most people here would understand the Mulberry Street reference. It’s suppose to be another NY style pizza. They serve pizzas, strombolis, subs, lasagnas, calzones, and salads. Their slices are gigantic. I think 2 will fill you up. Their pizza comes in 4 different sizes. Their small isn’t so small. It’s too much for one person. So if you’re by yourself, I recommend just getting a slice or two. I’m curious how big their gigantic size is. As for the pizza itself, I think Mulberry Street has decent pizza for this area. It’s not the best I’ve tasted, but it does beat Mellow Mushroom or Blue Moon Pizza for sure. The pizza comes out piping hot. The crust is okay. It’s browned decently but not charred. It’s thin and had okay flavor. I wished the crust had more spring to it. The sauce tastes fine and the cheese was good. I didn’t know the sauce was homemade until I came and read the reviews. I couldn’t really tell. Overall, I think the pizza as a whole had okay flavor. The pie wasn’t greasy to me. I guess they«fixed» that problem, or they just aren’t greasy as other people say it is. Or maybe I don’t mind greasy pizza and just didn’t notice it. The staff seem friendly and looks like a cool place to go for a slice of pie in the Vinings area. Their prices are not bad compared to the other pizza places in the area. They deliver as well.

There’s a lot of great pizza in this area but this one is the best! Not only that but it’s probably the least expensive too. My husband and I love this pizza! We still try pizza at other places but it usually just reminds us how much we like the pizza at Mulberry Street! :)

The ownership of this place has stabilized and its turning out to be a great place for a cheap lunch in Vinings. Decent food, massive subs, and no table service = no need to tip.

PROS: Great pizza. Huge slices. This is the perfect blend of texture for a pizza. The inner portions of the slices come hot an gooey but with a crust that is both fully cooked and not burnt underneath. The outer crust is crispy and toasty and doesn’t suffer from too much spice or butter or any other additions which makes it a perfect place to hold your slice. Don’t expect to do that the whole time though — the thin crust isn’t exactly strong enough for the whole slice. CONS: I’m a pepperoni guy but I’m thinking the slices could get expensive with multiple toppings as the charge is +.60 per item per slice. Slices will typically come«swimming.» I have to dab them with napkins to remove some of the grease from the top. HOWEVER, this also makes for a wonderful flavor and I imagine it is partly due to the quality of the sauce. If you ask me, it’s a small nuisance for such a delicious slice of pizza.

Came here for lunch with my husband. Atmosphere was the typical lunch crowd. Since this was our first time here we had to look at the menu. We told the man behind the counter that it was our first time there and he suggested the special. Two slices of pizza with one topping each and a drink for 5.99. Sounded good so we got two specials. I choose meatballs and sausage. My husband had the pepperoni and hamburger. The slices were of good size. The only thing I could say that was bad about our visit was the tea needs to be a little bit sweeter but that’s just me. Will be back to try other toppings.

Really delicious pizza, perfect cheese/sauce, tons of toppings, custom slices. This is some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long long time. The cheese is sturdy and robust, the sauce, which they make backstage, is incredible(I can’t believe they’ve mastered this art, given it’s a fairly new business). And most of all, you can get custom-made slices, which is getting rarer and rarer these days. Adding to the awesomeness, you can get bottled beer here. Perfect. Their caesar salad was pretty good too, not the best, but you do get a big portion — tons of croutons. To top it off, the owners actually man the kitchen and counter, so they’re there on the floor preparing and standing by their product. That goes a long way in my books. You get to ask about the history of the joint, learn a little about what they’re putting on the pizzas, their vision of the place. I like that — a lot of character. It’ll be a while before I’m back in the ATL again, but as soon as I’m off the plane, my go-to first eats is no longer Waffle House, it’s gonna be Mulberry’s St. for sure… delicious pizza.

I was a frequent Little Italy customer in Athens(still go there every visit to Athens) and I am SO glad to finally have a place in Atlanta(and so close to my office) that is just as good! I can’t bring myself to order the pizza; I visit for the subs! I love the baked bread, and please make sure you get everything on it, as all of the ingredients MAKE the sandwich! My friends make fun of me for not getting the Italian, as I am told it is the best, but I am partial to the turkey and cheese. I would imagine that the pizza and salads are just as good, as I have yet to be disappointed. I recommend that everyone stop by and visit Mulberry Street Pizza — you will not be disappointed. The friendly staff helps make the experience enjoyable as well — what more could you ask for?

I am by no means a pizza connoisseur, but Kit and Robert M have inspired me to by a little more serious about my pizza consumption. When I first went to Mulberry Street, I was struck by how enthusiastic the owners were. They came from Athen’s Little Italy Pizza(its amusing to see the UGA décor on the walls, and the lonely surrounding the lonely GT picture)., and clearly love their product. They let me smell their homemade tomato sauce, informed me of the quality of their cheese, and talked at length about their pizza oven. Fun stuff. Luckily, the product they put out is great. They will sell pizza by the slice, and the crust is crisp, the toppings are fresh, and the cheese and sauce is delicious. They serve an almost criminal size lasagna dish, which is quite tasty, and comes with bread and garlic butter. With a salad, you could easily get 3 meals out of it. These guys just opened, and they’re already doing great lunch business. There’s much to like about this place.

I am always a little concerned with places called«Manhattan Pizza» or…“Mulberry St, A Taste of Little Italy”. But it’s a new za joint, so I have to check it out. As you walk in, this is a typical corner za joint with its iron legged tables and chairs. Ends up the owners all worked at the famed Little Italy in Athens, GA, home of the cheap late night za for the drunk students. A few of them decided to give it a go in Atlanta with their own za joint. So on to the good and the not so good: The good: In talking to the owner, he says when he took over this place they had a big, bad ass conveyor belt in the back in which we both made a face as he was saying it. «I ripped that out immediately and sold it to used equipment». I like what I’m hearing… he gets it. Any za joint that uses a conveyor belt should be closed down immediately. He said he bought the brand new ovens in the back which he sets at around 525 degrees. Not the hottest, but pretty standard for your local corner za joint. He uses grande cheese. Yeah to grande cheese. Of course, the grande cheese has great pull and flavor. Decent cheese to sauce ratio, and the sauce was spicy, not sweet. The bottom of the slice had o.k. char and the end crust was low. The not so great: Well, for the most part this isn’t exactly fair because I just grabbed a couple of reheated slices, really need to go back and order a large pie for a proper review… but… They sprinkled new cheese on top of the reheated slices, this is a big no-no. They should avoid this practice. They put some oregano on the slice along with that extra cheese, I didn’t really mind this so much, but probably better to just put oregano on the tables and let the customer decide. Because of the reheat, the crust was a little inconsistent, with some spots overcooked, other spots perfect, and others a little floppy. Double baking tends to do this. This is a very heavy, greasy slice. For me, I don’t mind the grease. I let it drip on the plate and dip my end crust in it. But others may be turned off by it, for those of you who are always blotting your pizza with a napkin(dirty habit by the way), you will probably not like this slice. It was super heavy… two slices was more than enough for me, which is unusual. I give it my ‘average cheese in Atlanta’…until I get back for another try… from the NY Pizza Guy.
