This place is for true lovers of playing pool… Must be able to withstand smoke! The smoke did not bother me until I was outside and could smell it on myself. I’ve visited on a Sunday and I totally loved the vibe, music, drinks, and customer service.
Be aware they have a league, and those individuals get priority table. However this place has many tables.
Visited again on a Friday night, and the traffic was heavier, but we still received the same great service & drinks. This time we tried the food, and it was good. The sliders were okay & had a great taste, but the chicken quesadilla was excellent!!!
They also have an independent contractor who will shape or correct personal pool sticks at a great price. His work is exceptional… I would highly recommend this location playing pool lovers!!!

0 stars. This the most rude bartender I’ve met in my life. I don’t know how he works there. Tried this place for the 1^st time and will never return. I understand we came at 2am. And I asked if they are still serving and they were open for another hour. Its not my fault you chose this shift. Basically if you’re not regular you are not welcomed here. I don’t know how this business still has a staff like this.

This is a regular spot for me and my boyfriend. The space is huge and they have at least 40 tables with some arcade games in the back and those slot machine type game things. The tables and cues are kept in great shape. I would say the busiest nights are Fridays and Saturdays as those are the only days where we sometimes have to wait for a table. Smoking is allowed inside so if that bothers you then tough luck. Drinks are usually nice and stiff and they have drink specials every night. Best fried chicken wings of any bar in Atlanta for sure. Staff is super friendly. Nothing to complain about at this place. Pool lovers dream

Wish I could give it zero stars! I know it’s a bar but it’s OVERLY smoky. Second, the bar tender was extremely rude! My husband and I had to wait forever for someone to take our order. But the food was decent when we finally got it and the drink were ok, so we let it slide. Now, we came in to watch the game, so we were seated at the back on the side of the bar. Our game was on one tv and another game on a different tv. Next thing you know, our tv is changed to the same game as the other tv! So my husband asked if they could put it back, the worker who turned it (presumably another bartender) overheard my husband asking and said loudly «no!» So my husband said well it’s on this other tv. Can you change one of them back to the FSU game? To which this man replied «no, Im watching it on both tvs! If they don’t like it, they can go home!» Wow! To say we were upset is an understatement. The bartender who was serving us said «well, he’s been here longer than me so I can’t do anything about it!» Wow! We packed up and left and will not be back at all. Ever. For nothing. Shameful.

i always go there me and my brothers it’s nice place to hang out and play some billiards but the 2 stars because of the guy on the front he always drunk and make mistakes with our orders the funny things he blame us for the mistake lol

Cool vibe. Real pool playing or just for fun. Join a league if you feel you have the chops or wanna up your skill level.

A little expensive for the tables, and the wait can be long if you get here after 5−6pm (especially on weekends). Great quality tables, the wings are DAMN good, and a pretty awesome place.

Ordered a Long Island Top Shelf… & they definitely did a great job with my drinks. The atmosphere is clouded up with a lot of cigarette smoke. Not that I mind it. Seems like they have a lot of regulars ! Thumbs up

Been coming here since I turned 18. Crowd is good although there’s a lot of hustlers. A lot of great people play here, definitely not the place to learn. Go to pleasantdale if you’re looking for a more quiet place to learn here is where the pros play

The rudest bartenders EVER! I literally just walked out of this establishment because the «Male» bartenders were absolute Dicks!!! As a bartender, customer service is your Money. The first bartender my husband and I walked up to says «I busy» the next bartender was worse. He in proceeding to take our order he completelly made me feel like he had better things to do. His tone, condescending and his attitude, belittling. I left offended and disrespected. Bartenders are my friends… I drink a lot. wtf!

Ok… I come here occasionally. Place is usually packed. Good for cues. Nice folks all around. However, this place, I’m assuming makes money hand over fist with the amount of people that are always there. I usually eat while I’m there. As do many it seems. Is it too much to ask for a free refill on a soft drink? Really… Another $ 1.75 to use my same cup? Maybe it’s me.

If you are a pool shark… this is your spot!
They have a huge amount of tables and plenty of competitions going.
A lil’ intimidating for your average shooter at times when people are bringing in their own pool cues like it’s nothing.
Ladies play for free on Wednesdays!
Drink specials run everyday!
It could use a face lift but it’s a non-​pretentious, turn-​up, good time!

Best tables in town by far. Lots of room to shoot and decent food. I go when i get the chance and have never been disappointed.

Ah, Mr. Cue’s. My old favorite haunt from when I was on the lady’s APA league. It was nice when I lived in Dekalb County, but now it’s a bit of a drive. What can I say, Mr. Cue’s is filled with all sorts of people, and I really like that. If I’m playing league, I can always count on the familiarity of my teammates and opponents. If I shoot on a non-​match day, I’m left alone to shoot, or can usually find someone to play with if I want to. The one downfall is the smoke. Having been a somewhat heavy smoker in late college and after for a few years, it works if you are. If not, be aware that it is quite strong. The service is top-​notch. Alice is not only a seasoned player, but a friendly and knowledgable bartender, who always asked if I wanted my regular G & T. Then, you also have the electronic games and jukebox for a break from playing. If you’re in the area, check it out; it’s ideal for the casual or serious billiards player.

Went here for my first time ever last night with my fiancé and I enjoyed it! When you play pool, you pay for the exact time you were playing for. It’s $ 10 an hour but if you only play for 30 min, you pay less. This place is quite larger than other pool halls I’ve been to before. Lots of pool tables, a couple arcade games, and bar area with tables to eat on as well. I ordered a Bob Marley drink which was $ 8 and I liked it – I just wish it was cheaper aha. Also got a Reuben sandwich with seasoned fries which was okay. Overall, I’d definitely come back again because this place isn’t so far away from me!

I play APA pool here in a league every Monday night! I actually love the people here; well, depending on the time, the clientele can get a bit shady but as far as service, it’s the best! The only reason I would not give it a full five stars is because of how smoky it gets. The vent system must not be very good because it can get very smoky. For a non-​smoker like me, it can get to be too much. That is my only complaint!

I’ve recently joined an APA 9 Ball league here that meets on Thursdays. They have leagues on other days as well. For the casual player, the tables here more than adequate. They have plenty of pocket tables, a snooker table and even a 3 Cushion billiards table in the back… although it is not maintained as nice as the other tables.
The chief complaint by almost eveyone is going to be the smoke. It is a smokers paradise… When there’s league night, you can see a layer of smoke as you walk in. Perhaps the owner should look into some smoke-​eaters. When I used to smoke, I didn’t mind as much but now that I’ve quit I certainly notice it when I leave and get into my car and smell like an ashtray.
The food and beer selection is pretty standard stuff (wings, burgers, etc) and does the job.
This is a pretty great place to shoot pool. What’s keeping it from being spectacular are the few environmental factors I mentioned.

I love this place. They have my beer (amber bock) and their food is decent. They allow indoor smoking and have more than one size pool table. They might want to get new cue sticks though.
They also have a shuffleboard and darts. THey’re opened til 3 am. Have lots of parking spaces.
They people there are pretty cool and they’re good about constantly keeping the tables clean.

Came here the other night, and it was a pretty cool spot. The wings were pretty mediocre, but they warn you of that before you order. It’s breaded differently and it’s only done one way with one flavor.
The pool tables are pretty nice, and they require a deposit when you play.
Pretty cool place, but if you have a problem with smokers or a room full of smoke, I don’t recommend this place.
Otherwise, it’s pretty cool.

I had a good time at Mr. Cue’s. The pool hall is pretty big with about 40 tables. For some reason, I expected the atmosphere to be like the 1989 Patrick Swayze movie «Road House» (loud and smoky), but the environment actually turned out to be pretty chill and I liked that. It was still smoky, though, and while smoke doesn’t bother me, I don’t like leaving a place smelling like it.
My friends and I came here to shoot pool on a Friday night and I believe tables were $ 10 per hour. Since it was a weekend night, this was the highest rate. If you come during non-​peak times, the price is lower. All of the tables, balls, and sticks were in good condition. Mr. Cue’s also has a snooker table and a 3-​cushion table.
The employees are friendly, from the bouncer to the girls working the bar. Drinks and bar food are reasonably priced (e.g. $ 8 for one pitcher of beer, $ 1.75 for a soda). If you want to take a break from shooting pool, there’s a dart board, shuffleboard, and some arcade games in the back.
Located in the same shopping center as Kroger, Mr. Cue’s is open late, until 3am and 4am on some nights. The hall is 18 and up only, and they will check your ID at the door.

Mr. Cues is a big pool hall. It looks much smaller from the outside, but it’s actually quite large. They have at least 40 tables with tournaments and leagues being run on a regular basis. They now have a 3 cushion table there which is what brought me here in the first place. 3 cushion is a game mostly played by Koreans and some basic requirements have to be made to play the game correctly.

Mr. Cues got half of it right. I would come here in a pinch, but under normal circumstances I’d rather go to a less smoky environment to shoot.
