Miss D’s New Orleans Pralines

Miss D is so sweet and amazing. The popcorn is the best I’ve ever had. If you are having a tough day, go say hello to Miss D and get some Triple!

Mrs. D is the embodiment of love and she puts a little bit of it in everything that makes. There’s not one thing in her kitchen that isn’t addictive and will have you coming back over and over again. I love the Triple popcorn, the candy apples, the pralines, and the coated pecans. She could actually charge for just the smells…$.50 a sniff. its that good.

Seriously, the reviews saying this stuff is addictive aren’t a joke. I got a sample while having lunch at the market. Smart business move, because it made me want to stop by for a tub on the way home.
The triple is so good. So so good! It’s the perfect mix. My daughter and I wolfed it down in a matter of minutes. I also bought caramel. I’m not going to even open it today because of my pigginess, but tomorrow it’s on and popping!

This stuff is AMAZING! I bought my first two containers of the Triple Cheddar, Caramel and Butter popcorn yesterday and haven’t stopped eating them yet. I had a whole container to myself within a few hours and it was hard to get the container I bought for my parents to try home. We all love it! I went out of my way today to go stock up on more and finished another container. It’s seriously addicting. Can’t wait to try the other flavors and treats Miss D offers. This is the best popcorn I’ve ever had and I’m not big on popcorn.

Miss D’s love it. Miss D is very hands on with her business. While I was there she was talking to folks who were there for a food tour. Her employees are super friendly and give out samples continuously. It smells so darn good at this spot by the door. Butter, caramel and vanilla is what you smell as soon as you step in the door. Great place for some good treats. New Orleans style.

Ewwwww weeee! The pralines and other confections are sooooooo yummy! Miss D is the best! May have to ship some out here to So Cal – where else am I gunna get me some rum pralines and glazed pecans? 5 out of 5 stars on the yummy scale !

Two Words! TRIPLE POPCORN! This is by far THE BEST cheddar and caramel popcorn mix I’ve ever tasted!

My name is Ariel, and I have a popcorn problem.
I’m not kidding either! My boyfriend and I first stumbled upon our dealer, otherwise known as Ms. D’s popcorn stand around Thanksgiving. We were filled with glee as we excitedly hovered over various sugar-​filled sweet treats, popcorn, and pralines galore! There was so much variety, that we were so conflicted with what to choose.
We decided upon my favorite; a classic candy apple. In addition, we grabbed a praline, and
two buckets of popcorn (the triple and
Buffalo).
Yeah, about that popcorn… the Buffalo didn’t even make it out of Auburn market, and
the triple got eaten later that night. The candy apple got eaten on the road while I held it up to my boyfriends mouth-​while driving!
That’s how good these snacks are. I definitely
recommend the buffalo popcorn. I’m not sure what kind of sorcery is used to make this. It’s sweet, spicy, and salty at the same damn time with coating akin to kettle corn. How?! Why!!!
Do yourself the best favor of your life, and pick up a tub of this! While you’re there don’t hesitate to give Miss D a hug for me!

I’m not sure if she’s the owner (miss d) but the lady that rings me up on a regular is AWESOME!!! And the sweet treats hit the spot every single time!!! You should not leave the Municipal market without picking up something from Miss Ds!!! Love this place.,. My favorites are the triple popcorn and the candy apples!!! It’s hard to get five stars from me but this place hands down deserves it!!!

First let me say I love LOVE popcorn. .my husband and I where visiting .and we walked by I was offered a sample and BAM… I was hooked! I started dancing in the aisle! We where already Blessed with a wonderful day… but got more Blessed with Miss D’s popcorn (Triple).I Feel The Love… Thank you so much for making a delicious product. .God is Good!!!

My heart pounds with joy every single time I treat myself to some popcorn from Miss D’s.
Although she offers all sorts of popcorn flavors, candy apples, and pralines, I’ve only had the cheddar and caramel mix popcorn which is ridiculously gooooooooood. It’s always so fresh but I will say if you forget to close the container all the way, it may get a little stale. Eek.
The times I’ve visited Miss D is there with a huge smile and a lovely attitude. It doesn’t hurt that her prices are affordable so a treat from here won’t do damage to your pockets. She’s located right at the entrance of the Curb Market (Sweet Auburn to all the non-​Georgia natives) so you can’t miss her!

Yum! I had the best candy apple from this little place. The candy apple was huge. The apple was fresh and the candy was just right– sweet and hard enough. My friend got the pralines and raved on how good they were. The staff is very pleasant as well and very welcoming! I will definitely come back here again.

My family and I are from Florida, and I can’t say enough of how much I loved miss D! Southern hospitality at its finest! After trying her pralines and some of her popcorn, which was made fresh and fantastic, she said that everyone from out of state has to do 2 things, and that we already did the first which was try her goods (Lol)! When we asked what the second was, she came from behind the counter and gave us a big hug and said welcome to Atlanta can’t say enough of how much I appreciated that miss d! You rock!
Ps. Get the triple threat popcorn!

Though Scoutmob insisted I was 8710.15 mi away when standing at the counter, the 50% off deal was glady accepted, after asking twice/​reminding the friendly proprietor. They had been walking around offering samples of the popcorn, and it did not wow, so we opted for various iterations of pralines and their take on macaroons, all 3 of which were good, and still not cheap (sure, nuts aren’t cheap, but sugar sure is) at $ 5.91 after said Scoutmob.

Every time I go to the Sweet Auburn Market I come here and get her popcorn — and its gone in about a smooth 10 minutes. ITS SO GOOD!
The staff is always super sweet and helpful… definitely stop here if you are in the area.
My favorite flavor is the Triple. and there’s a Spicy cheese that’s so good too

The popcorn here is to die for… OMG it is so delicious!!! I’m embarrassed to say I ate the entire bucket. Miss D is very nice and welcoming. I loved her spirit!!! Please come out and try the popcorn. I guarantee you’ll think twice about going to Garrett’s

She’s the best and the coolest, when in Atlanta you have to stop by there otherwise your trip is not complete

After hearing about the Curb Market and reading the Unilocal reviews for Miss D’s I decided to take a trip there on Saturday with mi madre. Miss D was 98.9% of the reason for my visit. I love popcorn/​sweets and I was just ending a 10 day detox so I really wanted a little treat.
Whoever said she was the nicest lady was so right. When I walked up, I saw her mixing up new popcorn and I said «Hi are you Miss D?» She said «Yes! How are you?!» She came out and gave me a hug and we chatted about her business and Unilocal.She gave us samples of the triple and pralines. Both were oh so delish! My mom, who normally dislikes pralines, loved hers. We ended up getting 2 containers of the triple. I started to get the bag of pecan pralines but her daughter (who was also very kind) warned me with a chuckle «don’t do that do yourself baby.» She said you couldn’t stop eating the bag after starting and I had already shared with her that I was getting ready for swimsuit season. I just thought it was sweet that they cared and weren’t just trying to «sell» me.
Miss D told us about the Mardi Gras stuff she had coming up, took a pic w/​me, and yelled out «love you!» when we left. I felt like she was one of my aunties that I’ve known forever.
Moral: great treats and even better service!

Miss D was there working in the kitchen! She was so sweet to us and her popcorn and pralines were amazing! She was so generous with samples too!

Figures I had to come all the way to Atlanta from California to get my old school red #candyapple from @MissDs @SweetAuburnCurbMarket. This beautiful woman showed me some real southern love and hospitality and I promised her I’d spread the word about her delicious and childhood memory evoking sweets. If you’re ever in the ATL, you gotta go visit her, get some popcorn, get some pralines and get some love and a big ol hug from Miss D.
