Stopped by after having dinner in midtown for drinks. I must say that I really enjoyed my margarita! The bartender was pretty nice and even shared his girl scout cookies! Would love to return and try some food off the menu or explore some of the other drink options.

Came for lunch. Good coffee and great noodle soup. Perfect place to do some reading in the afternoon.

This place is great! I love having coffee and getting some work done on their free wifi. It is also a great place for happy hour drinks(Half price draft beer from 4−7pm!) Definitely a good spot for late night drinks as well. Their kitchen is open late and they have a limited but delicious menu with a Vietnamese/American theme. I usually try to go for my favorite drink specials. Monday and Wednesday is 2 for 1 vodka days! But every day of the week has a different type of special!

They have the ABSOLUTEBEST Espresso Martini in town. I’ve been to MC several times and I always enjoy the atmosphere, the service and yes, THEFOOD. Definitely not your traditional bar food for sure. The menu has the Asian twist that everyone loves. You won’t be disappointed.

Interesting bar /café that serves Vietnamese food with an American /Mediterranean twist. Service is not the best, however. I called in for pick-up and arrived 10 minutes later, as they requested. No one really helped me(they seemed too busy) and when I finally approached them, they clearly had not made my order yet and went to the back to start it. After all that, they got my wrong order and gave me a salad instead of a noodle bowl. Salad was all right — good milieu of ingredients /veggies and chicken breast that was a bit dry. I may come back to try their bahn mi’s or noodle bowls, but would not be my first choice if there are other Viet foods in the area.

Who knew this little gem was here. I suppose I’ve heard of it, but I always assumed it was just a little lunch spot. I was walking by late one night thinking of heading down to Marlow’s and then stopped in here when I heard the music and saw the swanky bar. It was probably around midnight but I don’t really remember. The staff was super cool and it was pretty full at this time. They had a few drink specials going and a decent beer selection for a small bar. For a nightcap or lounge-y drink spot this place is great. I’d also like to check it out during the day with the outdoor seating they have.

I’ve been here a lot on weeknights for happy hour. It’s small, quaint and the type of place where it’s easy to be a regular. They have a lot of drink specials and the service is always friendly. Nice go-to spot.

Located in my brother in laws building so it was convient to stop by and have a few. Friendly staff and good drinks. Met the owner a couple times too and he was down to earth and friendly. Did I mention they make good stiff drinks???

I live in the building above this place so it’s an easy quick drink with friends. The night I went they had a vodka special running which always makes me happy. The menu is small– asian fusion of sorts. Our server recommended the pork sandwich– so I ordered it. It was… OK. Not great. Not horrible. The hummus app was tasty. If you’re looking for drinks– great place. If you’re looking for food– definitely try someplace else.

This place should take a hint and stop agreeing to hold events for DATE&DASH here anymore. A friend and I attempted to go on Vday to only find out that MidCity Café was holding there own event. So this meant, DATE&DASH had to go. It was extremely disorganized and the DATE&DASH manager has yet to contact me back about possible reimbursement or a substitute upcoming event. DON’T DOITPEOPLE!

It’s Saturday night in Midtown, and a group of eight of us decide to go out for a drink. In that scenario, I would expect spending at least $ 8+ on said beverage, probably not getting a table, and maybe even fighting to get a bartender’s attention. Instead, when we walked in we had our choice of a big corner table inside or tables on the heated patio; we were immediately brought drink menus, and we marveled at the $ 5($ 5!!! On a Saturday night! In Midtown!) drink specials, which included a very tasty and not-too-sweet red wine sangria. Separate checks were no problem, and even though we got table service for our big group, no additional service charge was tacked on. Though I didn’t try any food, I’m now following them on facebook, and the pictures they’ve posted of their Asian fusion menu make me very excited that this place is essentially in my new backyard.

Coldest Guinness in town and good prices… This is my spot when I am in midtown. Great bar in mid town. The place is where you can definitely unwind.

This is a cool little spot tucked away under Mid City Lofts. The space is pretty small but for me, I prefer this over larger bars. I can actually have a conversation with someone without going horse or saying«WHAT» 500 times. The beer is cheap and bartenders are easy on the eyes. The food is pretty good. Its not a full menu so don’t expect to come in for a glorious Sunday roast. Good place unwind after work. Everybody knows everybody over there so the atmosphere is always very pleasant. I’m there pretty often and service is almost always on par. You’ll often find the owner there partying with his friends. When he’s there with his friends expect overall service to take a hit. I was there this past weekend and the bartenders were getting yelled at because they didn’t bring his drinks fast enough. I guess that’s a perk of having your own bar.

Cool little spot in Midtown. Decided to go here randomly from Scoutmob. I had the noodle bowl and was quite pleased. I don’t know the name of the type of noodles, but they were very thin and white, almost transparent. The texture was somewhat comparable to seaweed salad. They give you a little black cup of a sauce they make there. It’s freakin amazing. Overall, the bowl was good and pricing is more than fair. Worth hitting this place if you’re in there area.

The Date and Dash event that brought us here was not so good. Luckily, Midcity’s 2 for 1 martini special saved the night. Had the Red Lotus, made with vodka, Soho liquer(lychee flavored, one of my faves) and cranberry… mmm! Very conveniently located between my office and home, I think I will be back soon…

Don’t eat the food. Drink Instead. I came in during lunch because I had a group-on. I ordered a Flirtini(have had way better), spring rolls and the shrimp bahn-mi. The staff was nice enough to take off the sandwich that after 1 bite, I did not eat anymore of. What kind of freaked me out was there was this tall slender strawberry blonde headed guy behind the counter slicing lemons. He was not wearing gloves and I did not see him wash his hands. He had a cut on his arm that was healing, but still unhygienic.

One of the most unassuming, but best bars in the city of Atlanta. Sitting right next to «Pricci»(I think) off of Spring(i think), its extremely easy to pass by this spot. In fact, on any given night, you might actually think the damn place is closed. But trust, its not. In fact, trust that you can get one hell of a cocktail here on the cheap. It seems like they have drink specials on a nightly basis. But I know for sure on Monday nights, you can get Makers Mark for like $ 5. In this city, thats a steal. The service is attentive, but not overbearing, and everybody is really friendly. One of my favorite spots in the city to grab a low key drink.

It was a quiet mid-afternoon but I had been kicked out of my hotel at noon, my shuttle to the airport didn’t leave until 4:30pm, and I had a few hours to kill. Also, I had job applications to fill out online, I had emails and correspondence to attend to, and just a lot of random junk to handle before hopping on my non-WiFi-equipped flight back to California. It was a bar, but mid-afternoon it had a café feel. A manager was doing some paperwork at the end of the bar, surrounded by paperwork, a young girl was on a Macbook looking studious, and two patrons were chatting up the bartender and drinking white wine. I found a seat, connected to the internet, grabbed a soda, and chilled here a few hours. The manager helped me connect to the internet, the bartender chatted and checked-in with me occasionally and good-naturedly. It was just a great, chill, mellow vibe… and I appreciated that I was being treated well though I was only spending about two dollars and loitering all afternoon. I’d be a regular if I moved here.
