Great service! Very helpful! Thanks to the great reviews already on here I decided to try them out. Plus being within a mile from where I reside that helped even more! They got me in and out. I was in love with the huge aloe plants he had in the waiting room so he gave me one of the babies! I will say customer service expectations was met and then some!

Waited over hour and half in empty waiting room before they finally admitted they would not be able to get break pads for my Altima. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and service.

Honest guys I highly recommend! I took my 2003 Honda CRV to Meineke because I thought I needed new brake pads. After the inspection, they told me my brakes were just fine! They even offered to drive around the block with me to reassure my brakes were working. I left there with no charge, but definitely am going there for future issues!

Only went here for an emissions check, but was impressed with the very friendly and quick service. Will be back!

I came into the shop after hearing a high pitched squeak from my brakes. Not knowing how to check my brake pads myself, I came into Meineke to have them check it out.
Homeboy came out, drove my car around, and then took it in the shop to take a look.
Told me not to worry, I still had a lot of brake padding left. The squeak was just an unfortunate thing I would have to deal with, but functionally my pads were solid.
Honest. Fast. Respectful.

I originally visited a different car shop in the area to get a quote on my exhaust system. The technician was very upfront and polite in telling me that it was not his specialty, but in turn referred me to Chuck and Derwin at Meineke Car Care Center just up the road. I called Meineke, explained my situation and Chuck asked me to bring my car in for a quick FREE evaluation and estimate. I drove right over– within five minutes Derwin had my car on a lift and walked me through the diagnoses. I didn’t need a completely new exhaust system (a $ 2,000 recommendation my dealership had made last month). I would just need the rusted hole in my exhaust pipe welded for a grand total of…$ 89!!! I asked what it would cost to replace the entire pipe (as I live in the NE and it was all pretty rusty). Derwin was very honest with me on the quote and told me I really didn’t need to replace anything. A really great shop, with very friendly technicians that didn’t take advantage of a female. THANK YOU! I know where to bring my car for now on.

About a year ago my left flex-​tube broke. The repair guys took a look at it and said the right flex-​tube would wear down soon too and that it needed to be replaced. Sure enough, a year later I drove right to the shop, they quoted me the same price, and fixed it in about 30 min. The front desk gave me their internet WEP address so I had free internet while I waited. Thanks again!

With the bad rap mechanics get I did a lot of review reading before deciding to give this place a try. And I’m glad I did! I needed new front brakes and they gave me a quick estimate and fixed it immediately and quickly. While they did suggest adjusting my back brakes too while I was there, they didn’t insist or try to convince me it was necessary. I didn’t do any price comparison aside from what I read on the internet — which basically said prices vary — I just wanted to get it over with… They charged $ 100 for labor, $ 100 for the rotor, and $ 50 for the brakes (after a 50% discount).

I’m really impressed with the team and their overall honesty. I’m from Boston and they would have definitely charged me something to «fix» my problem. The hood guard above my catalytic converter was coming loose and they literally just welded the bolt back and told me that it wasn’t as rusted and fixable. They did it for free and were just great guys. I would definitely go back there given their willingness to help and overall honesty.

Let’s set the scene. You will want to read this.
I’m a student at Georgia Tech, and I went home for winter break. While I was home, I got my 4Runner looked at by some other garage to make sure everything was looking good. That garage told me my front brake pads were so low, I shouldn’t ride on them for more than another month. Well, I shrugged it off and said I had to think about it.
Lets just say 3 months pass and I am back in Atlanta, and that entire 3 months if anything went wrong with my 4Runner, my first thought was because I had bad brakes. I finally decided to get my brakes worked on, and I had heard good reviews about Meineke on Hemphill (really close to Tech!). I sulked in there, expecting the hear the worse along with a huge price tag.
Derwin explained to me that I had at least 60% of my brake pads left. (Instant shock #1) I explained to him what the garage back home had told me about my brake pads being low, and he was like ‘Mamn, they are definitely not low. I don’t know why they told you that. They look great. All you need is your rear brakes adjusted, and that’s just $ 40′.
Derwin made my day. He explained everything so well, I could totally understand him. He took me for a test drive before and after, and OH MY GOODNESS my baby was running PERFECT! Derwin saved me at least $ 160, and was completely honest with me. He could have easily told me i needed a whole new braking system for $ 3 240 589 and I would have believed him. I definitely recommend this business, you will not be disappointed. This is my new car maintenance spot.

I’m pretty loyal to Sam and Kelly’s Autocare, but when I saw a 50%off break pads coupon online for Meineke, it seemed like a sweet deal. The retail price is $ 190, (Kelly’s autocare charges about $ 150) so with the 50% off ($ 95) I was sold.
Just to make sure, we called in advanced and ask if the coupon was good and if it included everything.
-«Yes»
— «Does it include parts AND labor?» (we didn’t think so but we wanted to check just in case)
— «Yes, off the total price»
-«So it will be $ 95 total then, right»
— «Yes».
Sweet. I took it a weekday morning at around 9am and they were not busy so I talked to the manager pretty quickly. He tells me it should only take a couple of hours and he would call me when it is done for me to come and pick it up. Just to double-​check, I reconfirmed the price. Now, I find out that the 50% off is just for the pads and not for labor. The pads alone cost $ 90 while labor is $ 100, so the coupon only discounted me for a total price of $ 145 (not $ 95). I was not a happy camper. I asked again, and requested a printed quote, and again, it was $ 145.
Damn, had I known this (i.e. had the dude over the phone not LIED to me), I would have paid an extra $ 5 to go to Kelly’s where I KNOW they will take care of me and have worked on my car before, but at this point I was already there and had shit to do, so I dropped it off.
I know what you’re thinking, «why would the discount you for labor?». I totally agree. However, the issue is that they told me it was for the total (and final) price, and explicitly told me labor too.
Soon enough they called me to let me know it was ready and I picked it up at 1pm. I asked if they saw anything wrong with my car and they said no. I appreciated the extra check-​up but I didn’t like the joke about «yeah I looked for other ways to charge you but didn’t find anything». I get it, its a joke, but when you are messing with a car-​dumb girl who isn’t swimming in money, its not that funny.
Needless to say they did do a good job (how hard is it to change break pads anyway?) but I can’t give it more stars for giving me the wrong information. That’s just bad business.

Soooo I got my brakes and rotors repaired!!! Yayyyyyy! And for a great price too. Located just minutes from the Ga Tech campus this will be my new go to place for my car repairs. Super friendly staff, very quick service (took maybe an hour) and they support the community which I love. Chit chatted with the owner whos occupied this location for over 17 years so that right there should tell you something. I do not want to take public transportation so I highly charish a well running auto and I would definitely recommend this Meineke to all my fellow inner city dwellers looking for any car repairs or maintenance. I also did my research before hand so when I was told what needed to be done and the cost I was extremely impressed and happy to know that there wasn’t any attempt to pull the wool over my eyes. Kudos to you Meineke on Hemphill near Ga Tech! You just got yourself a new customer. Thanks for fixing my poor little car. :D
