Mama Mia Pizza And Wings

Wanted to have better things to say. Pizza was actually delicious. I chose this place because the hotel I’m staying at recommended it. However, the delivery was promised for 45 – 60 mins. But it ended up taking over an hour. It was almost 30 mins late.
We asked for napkins and plates. That didn’t happen.
The order was wrong. Asked for olives and sausage on one half of the pizza, but it was on the entire pizza.
Lastly, the pizzas were damaged during transport and were lopsided. See photo.
Food was good. Accuracy was off. Timing was poor.

I initially ordered through the Unilocal app but delivery wasn’t offered initially through the app so I called. I was placed on hold 3x but it was too assist me which I appreciated. I was able to have my food delivered which was awesome but my drink was left at the restaurant. I couldn’t get mad because the person who delivered my food went and bought me a drink. I would order from here again

Mama Mia was pretty good when I did have it like once dont eat too much pizza let that so I must visit again.

Came in to grab a quick snack. Just ordered a large fries. Figured it would be a grab-​and-​go. I waited 15min! The girl behind forgot about it. Wasn’t even busy at all. I think she forgot she was working…

Not a bad place for a late night snack in downtown. Stays open super late. Only thing it’s hot as a oven in there. I had a small pepperoni pizza and lemon pepper wings. Pizza was not bad, wings was a bit dried from being over cooked. I will be back for a midnight snack.

My Megabus was running hours late. At 2am I ordered from Mama Mia on the Eat24 app. The app said 45min-​1 hr for delivery. A little after 3am, my bus showed up so I cancelled the order on the app. 3:58AM I get a call saying «I’m here to deliver your food». At this time, it had been nearly TWO hours since I placed the order. I told the person that I canceled that order a long time ago. He hung up on me. I tried to call back to give him a piece of my mind but he wouldn’t answer.

Good food. The wings and calzones here are great. Their chicken caesar salad is also really good. Convenient location. One of few that stays open late night when most places downtown close. Because of that their delivery orders tend to get a bit backed up so if you live nearby I recommend picking your food up yourself

I think this may be the same place also known as mama Mia pizza and Italian grill… Could be wrong and welcome a correction.
Long story short, the delivery from grubhub arrived on time, the food was cold, and the quality sucked. The chicken tenders were frozen soggy crap composed of questionable meat product, and the pizza was a notch above totino’s 99 cent party pizza (1.29 these days, but they were .99 when I was in college and they composed the base of my food pyramid, which is also now extinct altogether — darn I feel old). Normally, two stars. Adjustment up for expectations on delivery ordered at 1:30 am that actually arrived on time only an hour later. Basically, same food as goodfella pizza with better delivery service. There are better, but it could have certainly been worse.
To my neighbors who the delivery guy mistakenly banged on the door of repeatedly (apt 110x vs apt 110y — numbers can be confusing I guess), I’m sorry. Thanks for correcting the guy to my door. I have to admit, if we turn the tables and your grub order wakes me up at 2:30 in the morning, I’m claiming it as my own.
If I had eaten this food sober, it would be two stars at best. So, in conclusion, order from here if you’re hammered and want pizza and it’s late and your only other option is goodfella.

Waaaay greasy! I had to use 5 – 6 napkins to keep it off my chin and fingers… It was GOOD, I’m just not used to that much grease.

Took them an hour and a half do deliver a very cold Baked Chicken Parmesan. Even by delivery standards this was forever. If this were my first introduction to Italian dishes I’d swear off of it. The dish was lackluster and stale. I should hav been paid to eat their tragic version of the dish.

C’mon. This place deserves some love. I stopped off for a very quick bite and was not disappointed. I asked the lady taking my order for her recommendation. What she said blew my mind: «I like a Philly made with honey mustart.» Any purist notion I had about what a Philly Cheese-​steak should be just flew out the window. Honey mustard! Boom. Mind blown. It was delicious. And the person who recommended it is brilliant. It was the kind of experimental thing that you’re only going to get at places like Mama Mia Pizza and Wings, where there are no pretenses about what you’re eating. They’re just going to serve really simple, but really good fare. This is pizza and wings and such. I was going to say this isn’t gourmet cooking, but then comes this honey-​mustard-​philly thing…
Look. This may seem like something of a rough & tumble enterprise. And the service may not be the friendliest in the world, but if you can get past that hardened façade, I think you’ll also find this place is worth visiting. Holler if you want some company.

Nous avons aimé ce petit restaurant où nous pouvons prendre place à l’extérieur avec un choix de plusieurs tables. Nous y avons soupé le 2 juillet 2015.
Les jeunes filles du personnel ont été attentives à nos besoins et nous ont bien servis.
Nous commandons au comptoir et on vous interpelle par le nom que vous leur donnez. Nous avons été enchantés car une jeune fille est venue de servir à la table dehors en nous apportant nos commandes et revenant avec des choses que nous désirions en plus comme du piment broyé entre autres.
La nourriture était de bon goût et bien apprêtés. Un restaurant modeste et sans prétention mais qui nous a semblé bien tenu et organisé.
Mon épouse a pris la lasagne à $ 9.95 avec une belle petite salade bien garnie incluse dans ce prix et moi je décidai de manger santé et léger en y allant d’une salade grecque très bien garnie et en portion généreuse qui m’a comblé à souhait pour la modique somme de $ 7.25. Nous avons savouré nos plats avec beaucoup de plaisir sans n’en laisser une miette.
Notre caissière et serveuse de surcroit se nommait Dyani.
Nous avons pris quelques photos qui aboutiront ici dans un futur rapproché.
Total de la facture: $ 18.58 avec la taxe.
Nous vous recommandons ce restaurant.

Went today and got a 10″ cheese personal pizza.
It was delicious! and HOT. Highly recommend.
Staff very friendly.

Don’t get the chicken parm. It’s a frozen patty covered in canned sauce served next to overcooked noodles.

My husband and I were staying in a nearby hotel and had come in late from hanging out. I pulled up Unilocal and saw this place was still open and delivering. I called around 12:41 am and ordered 1 pizza and an order of wings. I was told delivery would be about an hour, which I was okay with. Well, 2 am rolled around and still no food, so I called them to inquire about my order, was rudely advised that «there were other orders ahead of yours and I don’t know when we’ll be delivering to you». At that time, I asked the person to CANCEL my order. When I woke up the next morning there were 3 – 4 missed calls from the restaurant 25 minutes after my last call to them cancelling the order.
I noticed charges pending for the food on Monday, no big deal b/​c it was a Holiday, surely they would reverse that since they never delivered right??? I called them and explained the situation and got «A manager will call you when she gets in» reply. The call never happened and here I am almost a week later calling my bank to dispute the charge. It is ridiculous that I would have to go to that extreme, I will never deal with this company again.

I was staying at a nearby hotel and looking for carryout options for dinner as an alternative to outrageous room service prices. I had seen from Google searches that this place did delivery but given that the distance was under half a mile decided to visit in person.
The ambience was urban pizza joint and it was nice that they had a TV tuned to NFL action that I could watch while I waited on my order, which was a Chicken Parmesan sub and large garden salad.
The food was good and well worth the walk. Didn’t sample their pizza but it seemed worth a try. Definitely worth consideration if you’re weekending or working in the vicinity.

Sadly I won’t be ordering from here again.
I ordered Jalapeño Poppers & a Cheese Calzone + LIGHT peppers.
So, it took almost an hour for my first order to arrive.
I received a Pepperoni Calzone and chicken wings with fries.
Not only, did I not order this, but I’m a vegetarian, and the last thing I expected was to open up my food and get a lot of meat.
I ate the fries (I already waited an hour for my food, and I had the munchies, so I ate what I could), and called and told them, they said that my order was switched with another persons.
They remade my order and my food was delivered by the Manager (or store owner).
Also, the food that I received that wasn’t mine was also wrong, after finding out I had the wrong order, I looked at the receipt, it had a pepperoni calzone and 10 chicken wings and in bright red ink, it said NO FRENCH FRIES
BUT those fries that weren’t supposed to come with the food, was the exact thing I snacked on.
Anyway, after receiving my other order, the man left, and I began to eat, to realize that my calzone had bell peppers in it, instead of jalapenos
I call, and let them know, she calls me back after the manager (or store owner) comes back, and tells me, that I can’t receive a refund or replacement because I didn’t clarify what kind of peppers.
After getting off the phone, I went to the GrubHub website (Which is what I ordered from), and, when choosing another order, they had choices including (Green peppers, banana peppers, AND Jalepeno peppers) meaning they had 3+ different types of choices that «peppers» could be referring to, and they CHOSE to take a shot in the dark, instead of calling and asking which peppers I wanted.
The positives:
The jalapeño poppers were DELICIOUS, and the calzones crust was AMAZING!

If you’re looking for good pizza. This is the place to go. Food is pretty cheap and the only thing I’ve ever gotten here is Pizza. I like it. It’s good. Is it great? No. Not really. But it’s still pretty good pizza.
When is Pizza ever bad?

Dobt bother coming here. The service was bad, it’s a bunch of young kids who are more into socializing then doing their job of providing fast or attentive service.
I ordered the vegetarian 10 inch pizza, it was ok. One thing I did like is on my pizza they put both black and green olives. The green olives give a good flavor. But the pizza itself wasn’t that great. And, considering the service and how dirty the place was, I wouldn’t recommend it

Came here around 3:20 — 3:30 am at suggestion of hotel staff (supposed to be open until 4.) Most of the pizzeria staff didn’t come off very friendly. We were only patrons and about 6 – 7 people were working when we walked in and ordered 1 large pepperoni pizza at the counter.
When pizza was finally ready, a girl yelled at us from behind counter «351?» Despite our confusion, she kept repeating it until we realized she was referring to the order number that had been on the receipt that my friend threw away. Apparently, she wasn’t sure if we had ordered the only pizza made there in the last 20 minutes… Once they brought the pizza over to our table, they came back 2 minutes later telling us we had to take the pizza and leave rather than eat it at the table. It was still not even 3:50 yet and they wanted to kick us out right after giving them business. Pizza tasted okay, but horrible service. Not recommended.
