I’m really frustrated with this store’s customer service. I ordered some items online, and have done so many times in the past. Usually they let you return things you don’t want to the store, the exception being if you don’t have the original receipt. And here’s the kicker: whoever packaged my items left out the invoice. Loft, even though it was their fault, will not let me return my items to the store. They refuse to resend me the receipt they forgot to give me in the first place. I now have to pay for return shipping, go buy a box to put the clothes in since they were so cheap they sent me my things in a flimsy plastic bag, and wait days upon days to get my money back. I find that terribly rude, and am completely turned off. I definitely won’t be shopping here again anytime soon, and will be telling all my friends to do the same.(Not to mention you Unilocalers!)

Amazing service. Quality clothes. Great for basic pieces at work. Not the most colorful or inspiring clothes, but it will definitely make you looked polished. Everything is neat and the dressings room are spacious and modern.

If you’re a classy lady than you should shop here. Everyone will continue to think you’re classy if you wear clothes from Ann Taylor Loft. Guys, they sell everything in sections where all the clothes match, so it’s pretty hard to get something your lady won’t like. Even if you’re colorblind you can’t screw up too badly. I highly recommend hitting Fab’rik first to have a couple free beers before waiting for 2 hours while your lady tries thing on. Also, stripes are so hot right now. Hansel.

I do 90% of my clothes shopping online, purchasing multiple styles and colors, deciding what I like at home, and then returning the rest in store. Since most of my Monday-Friday wardrobe comes from Ann Taylor, and this is the location closest to me, I’m in here quite frequently, but usually just to make returns. For online returns, they do an okay job. One annoying aspect is that the store manager is the only one who can do online returns, and if you’re switching the item out for another one in store, it has to be done as two separate transactions(a return and a purchase, not just an exchange). Though this store is big, they don’t carry a lot of merchandise. This keeps this store feeling open and well-designed, as opposed to the Lenox Mall location which is small and packed to the gills with clothing and accessories. Here, you’ll find a very small sales section and just the highlights of the newest collection. It’s not the best spot to stock up on basics because of its focus on trends, but what it does carry is the best of the best, as I never seem to be able to leave empty handed. One thing to note is that though Ann Taylor makes clothes in sizes 00 – 18, this store, similar to most others, only carries sizes 00 – 14. I have no clue where you would want to park in the deck to have easy access to this spot, so I usually grab a street space immediately in front of the store($ 3/hour, coins or credit). Even on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, I had no problem finding a parking spot just one store front down.

Excellent service. Elaina was amazing. Usually I do not like help from a ‘salesperson’ but I was so happy to have her input and suggestions. I am a tough sell but left happy that I spent more money than planned and got great pieces for my wardrobe.

Sometimes I am lucky enough to find something nice and/or special at Ann Taylor Loft, but mostly I am just disappointed. Average shirts, skirts, and slacks fill the racks, in all their lacklusterness. I suppose if I were a busy professional wanting to take over the world their clothes may appeal to me, but, as I am not, I am never really impressed. And the people who work at this location– meh. I’ve experienced better. Overall, unless there is something specific you are looking for, I would just walk right on by to City Sports :)

Yesterday when I walked into Ann Taylor Loft I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. I had on a lovely sundress and matching shoes, hair done, nice accessories, and a smile on my face. There should be no reason to feel shunned, but that is exactly how I felt. Not even when I was walking around with items I wanted to purchase, nope not even then did someone talk to me. I am a seasoned shopper and do not need assistance, but I would like to be greeted or even smiled at. After getting the cold shoulder for long enough, I put my purchases down and left the store and headed to Express and the Gap to shop instead.
