I really liked this place. I went last week with a friend. I got the white mocha and my friend got the dripping coffee and croissant. I wasn’t a huge fan of the white mocha but I think it was because I’m not big on white chocolate. I tried my friends croissant and it was SOGOOD. I’m still going to go back to try something new and get some of their baked goods. Also, it wasn’t too crowded even though it was a weekend morning — great spot to study too.

The tea is great but their tables are terrible! I switched three tables before I found a sturdy one. For someone who is clumsy and bumps into things, wobbly tables mean spilled drinks. Half of my tea was lost due to wobbling tables. Fix your tables!

Best coconut mocha! This is our first time, but will not be our last. Purely good coffee, friendly staff, and simple menu. They also serve alcohol.

My meeting here this morning was easy. Easy parking. Easy walk upstairs. Easily found. Easy-to-talk-to staff. Easily warm on a cold morning. Easy ordering and paying. The latte itself was delicious.(You thought I was going to say it was easy to drink, didn’t you?) That, plus the pour-over coffee my associate got was hand-made with care.(I didn’t get to try any of the baked goods, though.) The place was brightly lit and easy to navigate. They were willing to run a tab for me, too. I’ll happily return to this place. Holler if you’re coming with.

I love this new addition to Atlantic Station. The interior now looks more open, especially with the mirror placed in the back of the shop. I’ve been here on multiple occasions. It’s a great spot to hang out while waiting for rain to die down or before your movie showtime to start. Coffee beverages, both hot and cold, are solid. Food options are okay. Simple options such as a ham and cheese croissant or chicken pesto sandwich are great for snacking/sharing. The menu posted in this listing is out dated though. They no longer serve hand pies. Best place to park in the deck is stairway #3(purple). It’ll lead you to the front door of LOTHC. Seating is limited. Some bar seating available. Free wifi for patrons.

I am a caffeine addict, so knowing that there was a coffee shop right at the end of the block that I worked at, I was stoked! Most of the staff there are very very friendly, and there are some that are just snobby. I loved their coffee when I first tried it the first few times but I realized that after that, it was slowly starting to become more bitter. Now, I know what I have to tell them, to get it just right. They do very cool, leafy designs if you do decide to order in. The prices however are a bit pricey. If you compare a venti latte from Starbucks to this place, its the same price and their cups are the size of Starbuck’s grande cup. They also have craft beers, bagels/sandwiches, parfaits, and sweets. I have only tried their chocolate chip cookie, which is delicious, and their cream cheese bagel, which is just your average bagel and cream cheese. Nothing special. The setting is very very mellow. A good place to study, do work, or even just hang out with a friend. They have a bar like area where you can sit, and just drink your coffee. They also have an outside area where you can sit and just relax. It is most definitely a laid back place.

Coffee was really good. Didn’t expect to be able to find Chemex-brewed coffee in Atlanta. A beautiful space too. Only complaint is that our food + coffee took forever. I get pour over coffee all the time and yes, it takes more time but not as long as it did here. Maybe that’s just Atlanta-pace as opposed to the NYC-pace I’m used to.

My sister and I decided to come in here after a movie on a rainy day. The prices I guess are pretty average compared to other coffee shops. Its a small menu but they do things well. They have a cool little selection of different unique teas, my sister got a ginger turmeric tea that was awesome, really strong. I got an espresso and it was good too. They have a few beers and wines to choose from, and I think they offer different desserts at other times of the day, but it was late so I think they were out of everything which is fine since we only wanted drinks. I would come back here and try other stuff.

Was really excited to try this place from reading the reviews but sadly the drinks fell flat. At first, we tried to order the green tea latte but they were out of the matcha powder. So we decided to try the vanilla chai freeze and the chai tea latte with almond milk. They both essentially tasted the same except one was a cold drink and one was a hot drink. They used too much cinnamon and other spices so those flavors was overpowering. It was too spicy/strong for my taste. I’m sure their other drinks are fine but probably won’t be back to try them.

I LOVED this place! This coffee shop is a great addition to Atlantic Station. It’s a cool, small, hip spot to get a cup of joe or a bad ass beer. For a local coffee house the coffee was really dark and really delicious! Most local places offer a light roast that usually has not flavor. But not this place. I had a yummy, simple everything bagel. They also have an AWESOME beer selection. Next time I will have to go after work and enjoy a cold one. They also have a cooler of King of Pops popsicles! A treat for when you are walking around the station. The service was great too. They 2 dudes behind the counter were funny and very nice! I will most definitely be back here next time in in Atlanta.

The Caramanilla(made with almond milk) coffee was wonderful! The flavor blend was an excellent mixture not overpowered with sugary caramel or vanilla creams. Perfect frothy smoothness. Service was quick and helpful. Definitely worth a stop if you are in Atlantic Station this holiday season!

We found out about this place through a ScoutMob deal. We were excited to see that there was a new coffee shop in Atlantic Station. We’ve had their cappuccino, nitro cold brew coffee, green tea latte(ask for it if not on menu), and Americano. They also have chemex, pour-over, and french press, but we did not get these. After paying, the nitro cold brew was immediately served in a pint glass and handed to us before leaving the counter. We found a nice small table near the wall. There’s outdoor seating available. The cascading effect was super strong. This drink was also very flavorful compared to other nitro cold brews we’ve had in the past. It was pretty enjoyable but we still preferred the cold brew(non-nitro) from Caribou Coffee. The cappuccino was a bit on the milky side. Enjoyable as well. These two drinks as a combo had nice contrast and was nice to share. I thought the green tea latte was ok, but my bf did not like it, said it was like a hot version of Starbucks green tea frappé. We both agreed that it was too sweet/syrupy even though there were matcha green tea powder all over it and at the bottom. It also was not appealing looking. We both thought the Americano tasted like the hot version of their nitro cold brew. We both prefer it not like this style for our Americanos though. It was also interesting to see a thin layer of foam(?) on an Americano. The coffee beans that they use seem to be more of the bright and light-medium roast flavors. While sitting, we also noticed that there were 8 beers on tap! All of them were GA beers(Orpheus, Terrapin, 3 Taverns, Burnt Hickory, Reformation, etc…). Didn’t get any but it’s nice to see. A perk for regulars too! Every 10th thing ordered is a free coffee drink!

New coffee shop in Atlantic Station to check out! I got the green tea latte, me likely. It wasn’t too hot or too cold and the taste was addicting. My friend got the raspberry mocha and she was in love and wanting to get a second batch! The décor is very rustic with a beautiful marble countertop. The space is a little small but the effect of the mirrors made it look bigger than it is. Seating may be complicated if it starts picking up more in business since I had trouble finding a seat for me and my friend. But if that one person doesn’t mind sharing their table for four then seating will be fine. Soooo… Try out there GREEENTEALATTE.

The last time I and my husband were here we got chai latte and mocha. The chai latte was good but the mocha was nothing special. Today I got the green tea latte. It was lukewarm and had a strange after taste. I kept on drinking and after drinking half a cup I felt seriously nauseated. To the point that I threw the remaining overpriced latte. Never coming back. Currently trying not to puke on the subway. What happened? I had plenty of green tea and never had this happen. :(

This is such a welcome addition to the depleted, chain overridden and disappointing food/drink selections found across Atlantic Station. In case you didn’t know, Land of a Thousand hills is Rwanda, known for the lush green, hilly landscape. And the reason for it is fair pricing and sustainability element associated with the coffee found here. THEBESTCAPPUCCINO I’VEEVERHAD. I am not exaggerating here. Yes, i could tell they used whole milk and some fatty dairy ingredients to make it, but it tasted so darn good. SERVEDIN A SMALL, ELEGANTCUP. Note, I don’t say mug. Hate mugs. This was a nice ceramic small cup and just the right size for a person to enjoy coffee a coffee. RUSTIC. The vibe inside is rustic, lots of tables and chairs and I was glad to see that they had quite a few customers there. It’s a very small space, but they used mirrors to make it appear bigger than it is. STEADYWIFI. Spent a couple hours here, no issues and easy to access.

Disclaimer — I don’t drink coffee and didn’t have any here. Met up here to catch up with a friend. It’s a little coffee shop that seems to have a rotating line up of coffee shops right in the corner across from the movies in Atlantic station. The coffee here is largely from Rwanda(nicked named land of a thousand hills). My friend and I chatted with one of the employees and I was impressed with how much he knew about the history of the store and connection to Rwanda. Essentially coffee farmers in Rwanda are paid directly fairly good rates for their work and coffee. There are pictures up in the store of the Rwandan employees which is a nice touch. They didn’t seem to have many cookies or pastry options when I went but they do sell king of pops so I had one of those.

10 out of 10 for atmosphere and… coffee wise, also a becoming a big fan. Their menu is pretty straightforward and overall just a good, clean set up. Will they usurp my usually coffee shop haunts? I dunno, but definitely one for the rotation. The day we went it wasn’t overly busy with a lot of seating available. Décor was rustic and woodsy, open with lotsa light. We tried an iced caramanella, normal drip coffee, a brownie, and the brie L. T. While I like my teas, I’m not much of a coffee enthusiast just enjoying a simple iced latte every now or some crazy weird dessert«coffee.» But the coffee here was really good. The drip without a lot of doctoring had a nice flavorful taste and my caramanella was light and not overly sweet. The brownie was a fudge-y deliciousness that at first confused me since it was served very cold(since I didn’t place the order I’m unsure if there is a heat it option.) No big deal though, it was really good cold and I actually preferred it that way since it ended up being stupid chewy and kinda like a candy bar. I could only eat a little at a time before I got a sugar overload though. As for the brie L. T… It’s brie, bacon, lettuce, and tomato, on «panini» pressed regular loaf style bread. Sounds good… execution, not so good. I was offered half, since all I was having was a brownie, and took one bite and was confused as to why it had such a fishy taste. I like brie, have had brie enough before… but I never recalled it providing any sort of nautical notes in the past. The bacon also did not look fresh and I’m actually sure it wasn’t fresh as it appeared to have a light congealing coat of oil that you get from fridgerated bacon– but not re-heated, think Subway bacon before they pop it in the microwave. I also don’t recommend panini style pressing for a sandwich with lettuce and tomato since both became very wilted and soggy and overly tasteless. It seemed like they put the sandwich together like a grilled cheese while including the other items and pressing it down on the grill. This just wilted the contents and didn’t do it much justice. The lettuce and tomato could also be my fishy culprits instead of the brie. Thankfully, it wasn’t my sandwich, but I had thought about ordering this. if I had… the thought actually made me feel dread. Anyways, overall, not a great start on the food menu, but really interested in the baked items and more of the coffee.

Disclaimer: I have not been to the original Land of a Thousand Hills, although I plan on doing so very soon. I had some time to kill between commitments and appointments so I figured I would stop by a coffee shop to get some work done. I was pretty close to Atlantic Station and what do you know… I ended up at Land of a Thousand Hills. Parking in the Atlantic Station deck is free for two hours so take advantage of that before you go for the paid street parking. I timed it exactly so I got my 2 hours worth. It was pretty empty around 5:30pm. I guess most people actually work, or have Happy Hour and dinner plans. Lucky me, I didn’t and had my choice of seating. And free wifi, so I had no excuse not to get any work done(oh darn, I forgot my laptop charger…). I ordered a latte at the register, and they just happened to still be serving food, so I ordered a turkey pesto sandwich. I expected to have to pick up my food, but once I settled into a comfy seat on a couch, they brought me both my coffee and sandwich orders. The latte art was too cute not to Instagram. One of the baristas working that day liked my Instagram post with the latte art he made for me! Pretty sweet! I feel like most baristas don’t take the time to do latte art anymore, especially if you take the drink to go. The sandwich was pretty tasty and so was my latte. Overall a hearty coffee shop meal. Maybe I wasn’t super productive but I enjoyed my overall experience. And now, I’m SUPER excited to stop by the original location in Roswell.

This venue at Atlantic Station has changed coffee shop locations several times since Atlantic Station opened. I remember it being a Café Nineteen, a PJ’s coffee, and probably something else before that. Now it is a Land of a Thousand Hills, which I’m excited about! I think name recognition and the ideals of the company will keep it here. I am a huge fan of the Roswell location, but the Atlantic Station and Roswell locations are super different in atmospheres. The coffee consistency is the same and they both donate money and feature coffees from Rwanda. The baristas are all really knowledgeable. Their chemex is awesome! High-quality coffee! And the location is great, because it is right next to so many other things to do: movies, shopping, food, just hanging out around atlanta. PS: They also have beer.
