Lace Alterations

I had my wedding gown altered by the lovely ladies here and they did a great job. They are not the most personable, so if you are a bride who needs someone fawning over you I suggest going somewhere else. They are technical and do a great job with very special gowns.

Update to this review: I was the only bridesmaid in the wedding that had the dress fitted improperly. It hit me entirely in the wrong place. It was so embarrassing. And even though I mentioned it seemed too long and I would like it hemmed and was assured it was fine, sure enough during picture taking as we walked down a street, my heel caught the dress ripping it up the front. That was before the wedding. I changed for the reception.

Getting your dream dress ready for that one perfect day is nerve-​racking. After purchasing my dress from Bride Beautiful, they recommended Lace Alterations. Who am I to challenge their recommendation? I worked with Pat who did a great job. She’s been doing this a long time so if she suggests something, listen. Not the most personable person, but who cares? She’s not your friend! She had a lot of dress to work with (Maggie Sottero Priscilla dress) and it was PERFECT. I’ve left a review for Bride Beautiful and it wasn’t stellar. I forgot to mention that they had me (I almost felt forced — although I am a grown woman) purchase a dress a size too big. Pat was able to fix it no problem.
End result: This nit-​picky bride was extremely pleased with how my dress turned out.
