This place is fantastic, very thorough, always caring about you as a patient and your experience there. Any type of surgery is never easy, but they take the time to answer questions, go over the procedure with you and make sure that you know everything. I have seen them twice for 2 different surgeries (extractions and implants) and both times have been great. Highly recommended.

I had a root canal that ended up shattering my wee little tooth into pieces. I went to Dr. Lee and she yanked all of it out in 20 minutes flat. When I woke up there was minimal pain, and I have had very little need for pain killers since. Because of how good she is, the place is seemingly always packed. I was sent straight from the root canal dentist to them and then had to wait four hours just for them to look in my mouth for five minutes. So if you’re in a lot of pain I would not recommend waiting to be fit in for a consultation, ha!

Had my surgery this morning and it could not have gone easier, friendlier or smoother let me tell you. I am very, very pleased with everything… from Dr. Babo and staff’s treatment and referral (see my Unilocal review of Peachtree Smile Center) to everything and everyone in this office. Dr. Babo and Dr. Lee… worth every penny that you (or your insurance company) will pay let me tell you and I have to say the charges, considering everything, are quite reasonable!

My teenage son needed to have all four wisdom teeth removed– the X-​Rays done at his orthodontist’s office revealed that they were all at a 90-​degree angle and completely within the jaw bone. After one failed attempt at another oral surgeon’s practice (they cancelled his scheduled surgery date because they were «getting kicked out» of their current office space, according to their receptionist — NOT comforting to hear), we found Dr. Lee. She was awesome and her staff is great. She thoroughly explained the procedure during the consultation and put us at ease. She estimated that she could have all 4 teeth extracted in 30 – 35 minutes and it took 30. I went back afterwards and my son was already sitting up and was able to speak. From what I understand, more efficient/​faster surgery times often means less swelling or bruising. Also the shorter duration of administered anesthesia can lead to a quicker recovery. My son had the extractions yesterday morning and has not had to take any pain medication today at all (he is taking a strong antibiotic and steroid to help with infection and swelling). He has actually been pretty pleased and has even commented several times how happy he was with Dr. Lee… Not something you usually hear from a teenager who just had his wisdom teeth removed! Also, I was very happy with the person (sorry, I cannot remember her name) who worked with our insurance company. Her estimates were perfect and paperwork was all taken care of well beforehand, with copies emailed and provided to me again in person. Also, Dr. Lee provided all the prescribed medications before we left, which was great. That saved us from having to go to the pharmacy to get prescriptions filled on the day of surgery, which was SO helpful! The only downside (not a big deal) is that you have to pay to park (typical of any building in midtown). Even though it’s a bit more, spring for the parking in the deck at Colony Square (entrance on 14^th Street) — it’s nice to just take the elevator/​escalator down after surgery without having to go outside, especially if it’s raining. I would recommend Dr. Lee without hesitation!

I had a great experience with Dr. Lee and was very impressed with her surgical skills. I needed a dental implant and went to her office after I read the great reviews she has and I’m very glad that I did. I would definitely highly recommend Dr. Lee to all my friends and family. Thanks Dr. Lee.

Really welcoming and friendly staff! Recommended here by Collier Hills Dental for teeth extraction. Came in on time for appt. The ease is being able to complete paperwork online. Wish all offices were this easy. Love being in a 21^st century digital office!
The doctor was warm and friendly. She and her staff walked me through step by step what was about to happen and didn’t start until all my questions were answered.
The 30 minute procedure couldn’t have gone smoother! They walked me through post-​op procedures before letting me leave. Plus they told me what to expect and what to do in case of emergency.
I loved the results and highly recommend this office for dental oral surgery!

Dr. Lee is awesome. She has an excellent way of setting minds at ease while also performing excellent dental services. We cam to her after a misdiagnosis from a general dentist, and she was wonderful for my 8yo son. I recommend her completely!

The majority of the team here is really, really great. They are super kind and made me feel really comfortable about having to have all four of my wisdom teeth pulled this past Thursday. I was very anxious the day of my appointment, but was put under IV anesthesia, which helped me relax. I didn’t remember falling asleep at all. Just woke up an hour later with gauze everywhere and a little swollen.
The one thing I didn’t really like about my experience, which is why I’ve given 4 stars, is that I didn’t really feel like my service was personalized or «special.» These guys definitely get you in and out of surgery very quickly which is nice, but I ended up kind of feeling like a random «number.» I was literally in and out. I felt like the assistant who helped prepare my room and the same assistant who checked me after the surgery was just moving a bit too quickly, almost. She kind of made me nervous in the beginning. At the end of surgery, she gave me all the right prescriptions in a nice little bag that resembles a lunch box, but she rushed through giving me detailed instructions on how to take them. as if she was behind in schedule or something and just wanted to get me out the door.
At the end of the day, I’m very pleased with how the surgery went all together. I will be recommending this place to anyone looking for a good oral surgeon in Midtown.

I was terrified to get my second set of wisdom teeth out. I was laid up for a week the first time, with a sore jaw for a month. My dentist referred me to Dr. Lee and it’s amazing how smoothly the entire process went. The procedure took less than an hour. Virtually no pain (when you follow the aftercare regimen). And I was eating solid food the next day. Dr. Lee’s presentation is candid, funny, smart, and capable. And that goes a long way towards instilling confidence in dental chickens. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Who can say getting their wisdom teeth out was a good experience? Incredible!

I had an entirely positive experience at Dr. Lee’s office. From the consultation appointment to surgery of having all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, the doctor and her staff were professional and great on time. I even learned my general dentist trusted Dr. Lee to extract his child’s wisdom teeth. I definitely reccommend her to anyone who is looking for major oral surgery.

I had a failed root canal which required extraction, then an implant. Dr Lee was very good about explaining the procedure and I felt at ease about going forward. The tooth extraction was one of the easiest dental work I’ve experienced. I was under anesthesia for about half an hour, woke up and it was over. Took pain pills for 1 day and the rest of the time I didn’t even need them. The spot of the extraction is healing fine and I’m just awaiting the implant.
Dr Lee is very professional but kind and has great bedside manner. Her front desk staff is always super friendly.
Tip: Her office is located at The Colony Mall building. Park at the Juniper street parking deck @ 1155 Juniper St. Dr Lee’s office will give you a sticker for flat fee parking $ 7.

Dr. Lee and her team are super nice and informative about the entire process of their procedures. She was very aware of my fear of my surgery and took extra precautions to make sure I felt safe and okay. This was absolutely the most pleasant as this experience could ever be and I’d recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

Removed two broken wisdom teeth and was very nervous and in pain. They put me at ease as soon as I walked through the door. I wish Dr. Lee could be my regular doctor!

Had some dental problems, had to get two wisdom teeth extracted and two other teeth in prep for implants. The staff here makes you feel at ease.
The day of my appointment, I was a bit nervous, but I was put under IV anesthesia, and you know how those appointments go. I wake up about an hour later? I am in some pain, but they monitor you well and send you home with all the right prescriptions.
As far as the healing and procedure: A+++, wow, I felt pretty good the day after and 3 days after I was pretty much at 100%. Great doctor.

The doctor is Cantonese, if one can speak Chinese but not English, she is able to communicate with.

I got an extraction & implant with Dr. Lee a few years ago and had a great experience (I mean, all things being relative, it was still surgery!). Felt comfortable and well-​taken care of. Was very pleased to find out Jan & the office staff had filed two appeals with my insurance because it didn’t cover anesthesia for an extraction (yes, please, let me be awake while a bone graft is placed into my jaw). They did this without me asking.
Couple years later I had another tooth giving me trouble and needed to decide between a root canal and another extraction/​implant. I went to Dr. Lee for a consultation and she told me it didn’t need to be extracted. She turned down my business — and saved me a ton of money. I’ve recommended her to friends, and next time I need an extraction (and I will), I’ll go back to Dr. Lee.

Thank you, Dr. Lee! I honestly can’t think of a time I’ve ever said thank you to a dentist, but Dr. Lee and her team most certainly deserve it. I chipped a tooth while on vacation, and my regular dentist was out of town when I got back home. I went to see Dr. Ashpole in Decatur (who will now be my new regular dentist, thanks to her outstanding service!) and she referred me to Dr. Lee. I was nervous going in — finding out I hit the tooth extraction lottery and needing both my bottom back molar removed, in addition to its upstairs neighbor. And of course, I’d need to be anesthetized for the procedure. I was scared. Crying, even. But the staff at Dr. Lee’s did a great job of reassuring me and making me feel comfortable. When it came time to get in the chair, there was a quick discussion of what would happen and I said «Good night!» and woke up some 30 mins later.
Now I’ve had a tooth removed just last year, and the pain I was in was excruciating. I also looked like a puffer fish for about four days. It’s day two and I’m shocked at how well I’m doing. Hardly any swelling, the pain is mainly in my jaw, and a little from the lower extraction site. I’m simply astounded at the work Dr. Lee did. She knows what she’s doing to not only make the surgery as quick and pain free for the patient as possible, but her skill is evident in the post-​op recovery stage.
I can’t thank her and her staff enough. If I ever need major dental surgery again, I would only go to Dr. Lee.

The staff is super friendly and professional. I really appreciated their honesty and up front approach about the procedure and the choices that I had. The reception staff was very helpful everytime I called and made sure everything was taken care of with my company, since I had to miss some days of work.
The day of the surgery went so quick! Everyone was on the ball and it went so smoothly and quickly I didn’t have time to worry or get scared by what was going to happen (by the way, I am soooo scared of needles and anything hospital related). I am still amazed!
I am so grateful to the staff and Dr. Joyce Lee for making this experience such a breeze. My recovery is going well, and I have peace of mind knowing that if I needed anything, I would have the support right away.
