Still an hour and my order hasn’t even left. Pretty ridiculous that they call this a delivery service. Should have let me know when I placed the order that they were short on drivers, but no consideration… They suck

I don’t think I’ve gotten a delivery in less than an hour to Georgia Tech from this JJ’s. They take forever to delivery mediocre sandwiches — don’t order from here if you want to eat anytime soon.

Not very busy here. The sandwiches that we ordered tasted very fresh, but we left still feeling hungry. Their chips are very yummy though. I still prefer Subway sandwiches over Jimmy John’s as theirs are more substantial at a cheaper cost.

I order from here a couple times a month, and they are always accurate and very fast! I love the food and quickness of the service!

In an effort to be quick the seem to compromise orders and lack staff training. Came in with a gift card that was swiped three times before telling me there was no balance on the card although I knew there was money on the card. My sandwich was made in 15 seconds but made wrong. Do not recommend this location.

Why is it that people on here insist on telling us details about themselves in with the review? I don’t get it. I dont care. Tell us about the restaurant. Jesus. Anyway, good sub and got to my office in 5 minutes.

They do exactly what they’re supposed to do. They bring me the correct order and they bring it quickly. They are scary fast. I order my food and they’re sometimes at my office in under 5 minutes. I think Flash( ) is making and delivering all the sandwiches. The sandwich is no Publix sub(mmmmmmmm!), but it’s great sandwich for when you don’t feel like waiting in a ridiculously long line at the Publix deli.

We order from this location frequently. I normally order our sandwiches online. The delivery is very fast and all of the delivery riders are very friendly and do their best to make sure that our order is correct. I do sometimes run into the store on my way home to pick up a sandwich instead of ordering online. Everyone is very friendly and the store is very clean. The sandwiches are so good. I absolutely love the bread! It’s a great place for lunch.

I was in midtown this past Friday handling some business, and was looking For something quick for lunch when I passed jimmy johns. Now I’m like What is a jimmy johns? And out of curiosity decided to check it out. I have Never heard of this place and was surprised to learn that my wife knew All about them. Well I went in to have a sandwich and they blew me right out of my socks. I ordered the Italian, and their sub rolls were by far the best I’ve ever had. Any true sub lover knows that bad bread will destroy your sandwich. They make the bread right there on the premises, and I’m Sorry but subways don’t have nothing on this place, and they were very Hospitable I might add. If you haven’t tried them yet do yourself a favor. I read a few other reviews that was not very complementary of this location And it makes me wonder if these people have the right location or if they’re just being overly critical, because that was far from the experience I had.

I work a block away and like the subs but the service is the worst. Fast subs? Yes. Order done right? No. Ask for No mayo add mustard I get neither, ask to have sub cut in half 3 times before leaving still not cut in half. I would watch them when they make your sub to be sure its done correctly as their attention to the smallest of details is lacking.

Order #2 from this Jimmy Johns: Paid by credit card(tip included). Confirmed at 2:10PM… the wait began. 2:20PM, no Turkey Tom. 2:30PM no Turkey Tom… 2:32, I give them a call, let them know it’s been about 25 minutes and I live super close. Someone answers and says they’re on their way. «Has my sandwich just been sitting around»… «no no no, you’re good». 2:40PM… No sandwich, no chips, no cookie. I’ve now watched an entire show and still haven’t received my «freaky fast» sandwich delivery. 2:45PM… it’s been 35 minutes since I placed my order. I’ve cleaned up my living room, watched the Halloween episode of «Black-ish», made a flower arrangement, fed my dog, checked some emails, called Jimmy Johns… man, am I hungry. Wish I had a sandwich right now… 2:50PM… called them back, they said its on the way. 40 minutes have passed by, 4 – 0, FOURTY. I live 3.5 minutes away by car, 11.5 minutes by foot. I’m a patient person… but fellow Unilocalers… I’m pretty much low-key pissed at this point… 2:55PM… I finally get the knock. With a sorry apology. 2:59PM… open my sandwich to eat it… WOW, there’s NOTURKEY. NONE. My sandwich consists of a few veggies… WOW. 1 Hour wait, and the WRONG sandwich. 3:00PM… call Jimmy John to let the know. I’m put on hold, 1 minutes, 2 minutes, 3 minutes… finally get someone, tell him. He pulls up the order, then proceeds to say he’ll check with the previous manager to see what… that’s when I had to cut him off. «Can someone just bring me my order, I live down the street». I asked for a time estimation, he said it’ll be hard to give, but it’ll hopefully take no more than 10 minutes. 3:05PM… the new wait begins. 3:10PM… I’ve now finished my cookie. I usually have that after the meal, but this wait has thrown me off. Now I can’t even enjoy my meal the proper way. Now I’m starting on the chips… Iet me stop, and just wait for my real sandwich. 3:15PM… it’s now been a total of 1 hour and 10 minutes since placing my initial order. 3:20PM… knock at the door. It’s my sandwich, finally… I’m happy. Thanks shift manager #2 for getting it out quicker than the earlier guy and sending a full new order… 15 minutes instead of 1 hour. Thanks. Basically, it took 1 hour and 30 minutes to receive my order. Lessons I learned: Maybe paying with cash is a better motivator. I should call once it initially hits the 10 minute mark. Unfortunately they’re inconsistent. :-( From order #1 to order #2, they dropped from 5 stars to a 1 star. Very hit or miss… I’m disappointed in Jimmy John’s… I really am.

What a disappointment! I have heard so much about Jimmy Johns, that I thought to myself, man I’ve got to try that place. Quick it was, the guy handed me my receipt with my sandwich, I was surprised and became a bit skeptical, but still thought that it could be a good sandwich. Like so many other reviewers said, bread was definitely not fresh, sub was super cold … nothing was tasty about that sandwich, NOTHING! Publix gives you a bigger and better sub for 6.39 — and it’s right next door. Everything was blend, the choice of veggie is limited, as you don’t get to pick what you want in your sandwich(like subway for example). Totally not the place I would go back for a sandwich.

Great service, friendly staff, and above average subs. Don’t order the totally tuna sub… they skimp on tuna and fill the sub with too much lettuce etc

Fast and tasty – great lunch option! Try a lettuce wrap instead of the bread. It seems like eating a handheld salad but it’s good! Don’t pass on their delicious chips!

The guys working here the night of Oct. 6 saved my life. Well, my stomach at least. It was midnight, I was starving and nothing else in the area was open except for some dumpy bar down the street.(Seriously, how the crap can there be NOTHINGOPEN in Mid-freaking-town Atlanta at midnight on a Saturday? It was like I was in Mayberry.) My husband and I stumbled in here as they were closing up, but they waved us in and told us they’d be glad to make us some sandwiches. They did so with the usual super-speedy JJ service, and were funny and nice to boot. JJ’s subs all taste pretty much the same no matter which location you go to(better than Subway but not as good as Jersey Mike’s), but the service here was great. If you’re looking for a quick sandwich served up by some friendly peeps, especially if it’s late at night, stop in here.

My first question: For the people reviewing this place and giving it five stars, how low are your actual standards for a sandwich? This place is bottom of the barrel bad. My wife decided to surprise me with a sub from them and it was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. She asked for no mayo on it and they slathered it in mayo. It’s not that I don’t like mayo, it’s that places will put a mile high thick layer of the stuff on it resulting in the actual taste of the sandwich being overpowered. Lot’s of mayo typically equates to a poor quality sub. My points of this doomed experience: 1. Wrong condiments on my order. That’s a big no-noand shows that you just don’t really care about your customer. What if I had a mayo allergy? Potential for lawsuit? 2. The mayo was low quality stuff. It tasted pretty bad and masked the taste of the sandwich. 3. The avocado was salted to the point of oblivion. Was that really avocado? I could barely tell if any was on there or if the Hulk shed some dandruff on my sub for color. 4. The bread had been sitting around for while. In fact, I think it had a conversation with the staff before being put out of its misery. 5. Low quality deli meat. A seven dollar sub better taste like seven dollars. Next time I’m putting some deli meat, pickles, and mustard between seven ones so I can have a worthwhile experience. My final synopsis: In the event of a zombie apocalypse, Jimmy Johns would serve well as a destination of desperation. Otherwise I would avoid this place as if it was housing a zombie nest. Fast service doesn’t equate to high quality and I think the evidence points to the obvious. I’ll be calling Umbrella Corporation to let them know one of their experiments got loose in here.

Sigh. I hate sub sandwiches. Of really any type. Saturdays at work = boss buys lunch. He wanted JJ’s today. Can I say ICK and get a church wave? I got the roast beef and provolone club. I HATE shredded lettuce and of course that’s what it had. Not enough tomato. Light mayo, so fine. Just. .. annoying and mediocre. I felt bad spending his money on this lunch that’s now sitting in the trash can next to my desk. If Luke hadn’t eaten all my fresh veggies during his midnight fridge foray, I’d be excited to go home and cook something yummy for dinner. As it is, I’m just an annoyed eater of 1⁄3 of a stupid sandwich who really wants the work day to be done!

«Can I help you?» Why is this question so elusive? I don’t freakin’ get it. Ultimately, the speed with which a Jimmy John’s sandwich is made is immaterial to me — they all basically taste the same, and are usually decent. But what I DO want — what I *do care very much about, no matter what the price point is — is good, basic, capable service. Today I didn’t get that. I’ll admit to having a huge pet peeve about register folks who don’t look up, don’t engage, and just expect to be a brainless penguin punching buttons. To the manager of this location: if you hire people based on people seeking such a job, you’re as culpable, if not more so, than your workers. When I visited this location today, I stood in front of the double register, with two people looking down at each, seeming to be working on something. I stood there for more than a minute, maybe longer, already knowing what I want and waiting to be acknowledged because I didn’t know which register to approach. I had a gal behind me, too, waiting to put in her order. When the gal finally became engaged, she mumbled, «oh, I was waiting for you.» never made eye contact. I looked her straight in the eye and said, «are you ready now?» This«can I help you/what can I get for you» practice is so baseline, so basic, that it really fries my rice when a place like this — which suits itself as hipster, fast and nimble — doesn’t seem to care how customers are treated. so, feel free to pad the sammy delivery by a minute and allow your folks to round out the retail experience with some social skills and a smile. I had a disastrous experience at the Jimmy John’s on 14th, which is why I’ll never go back to that one. The workers there handed me what I thought was a sandwich but, when I got back to the office, it was a pickle. that’s right, a wrapped pickle. I called and insisted that the manager deliver my actual sandwich and he refused. So, I have a bit of a chip on my shoulder from that I guess. If you’re gonna live and breathe this kitschy, pop-art restaurant image, take a minute and train your people.
